Great idea Smokemupm8, Your ideas are needed here, and that is a good one!!!:bravo: You Aussie Nut Bag! I love seeing You around, it lets Me Know that us Americans are not the only People in the world that are CRAZY!!!:goodjob: I served with some Aussie royal Marines, and they are some of the finest Soldiers in the world!!!:circle-of-love: Good thing the Commowealth has Aussies and New Zealanders to call Up, if we should ever have, a War where all Countries Must be involved. I would serve with Anzac Troops Anytime!!!:cheer: You Guys are completely Fearless!!! And put troops from the British Isles To Shame, that I have fought and trained beside as well. To much Lip from Soldiers from the Isles, IMO, of what I have seen. At least the Commonwealth still has Anzac Soldiers and Pilots, Marines and Sailors, that still are Brave, and can Fight when Needed. I do not like war, But put me next to some ANZAC Troops, I will feel just fine.:bravo: I am not a War Monger, but when I go to war, I want Motivated Individuals Fighting Beside Me, and the ANZAC Soldiers certainly fit this Bill!!!:high-five: England needs to wake the hell up, and start a better training Program for Her Troops, because from what I have seen, there is just to much individuality allowed in the Ranks. And if there is a Major War anytime soon, England has a lot of catching up to do IMO, and from what I have heard and seen. Although the SAS still remains one of the premier Fighting Fores in the World. Thank God England still has the SAS!!! Take Care, and I hope I did not offend anyone!!!:;): SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.:thumb:

Congrats on the harvest, which plant was it? What was the wet weight? Can't wait to hear the smoke report. Those stories of crushing animals was really sad. I am glad that some of them made it.

Queen, here's first smoke report of 10 day old harvest of DNA Lemon Shunk, it is smooth, buzzy, not couch locked, I don't feel tired on it, burned really well, taste has not developed yet, but I've done my time, the plant didn't get large, but it did provide nice sweet buds, and it cloned great, it was a hard seed to get going, or it was my first mistake , I'm doing the drying 3 ways, one plant in a paper bag from Chipotles, one of their carry outs for large orders, with corded handles. The next method ares my paper desk trays I bought at garage sale for 25 cents each, 3 stacked on top of each other. and 3. A sturdy cardboard shoebox, the lemon shunk was dryed in a medium size box with string running across cross like a X, I will update to let you know which method I prefer.

They better not run into any Bears or Mountain Lions, but there maybe Bears where You Live, but I:circle-of-love: doubt Mountain Lions!!! This is a free country you have fought to allow us that right, you go right ahead, you know more than most of us here. Your opinions always welcomed on my journals/grace:goodjob:

No worries Grace nice to say hi and introduce myself, so thanks for your comments:) Youre at the fun part of growing, I LOVE THE HARVEST!! Nice work, hope it keeps you baked for a while.Take care.. Smokem..:welcome:

Yep, wet trim first(FOR US ANYWAYS) then let then Dry and Cure. Remove all the fan leaves(WET), and any of the larger leaves that are not attached Directly to the Buds(WET), let dry and cure, and then Manicure or Trim, easy as Pie!!!:circle-of-love: We o it this way every year, because it allows us to save Our Sugar Leaves for Hash, Cooking,Tinctures ETC. When I make Canna Brandy , out of my Sugar Trim, I use the Sugar Leaves Trimmed off of the Buds, as it produces a much stronger Product. I fill a 5gallon Container with Trim, to the almost Brim of the 5gallon containers, Pour two or three Half Gallons of Brandy into it, depending on the strength I desire, Get a Terry Cloth Towel Wet, and cover the 5gallon Containers with it. I then place the concoction in a Dark Unused Room, and go back every 24hrs to re-wet the Terry Cloth, and allow the mixture to Breathe for 5-10 Minutes, then recover with damp terry cloth, and repeat the process everyday for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, they are done, and I use Cheese Cloth to Strain out the Cannabis Detritus, leaving, depending on how much Brandy I added, about One to One and a Half, Half gallon Bottles of Canna Brandy. I use this Brandy to make My Canna-Butter with. Depending on how much I want to make Canna Butter Wise, I use 2-3 sticks of Butter, and Your Choice on how much of the Canna Butter You want to make, and how Strong. I melt the butter in a Saucepan on extreme Low Heat, then add the Canna-Brandy, usually at least a quarter to one half Bottle. I then cook it down on extreme LOW, and let cook until all of the alcohol has cooked off the Butter. Since THC and CBN bond to alcohol, when you cook off the alcohol, they very naturally(THC&CBN) then bond to the Fats in the butter. Never use Margarine, it just does not work near as well, You wind up with LOW STRENGTH CANNA-BUTTER. I like to add Hashish to my Brownies as well, for My 40th B-Day, I made some Canna Butter(SUPER STRENGTH), and mixed in 16 grams of Hashish(BUBBLE HASH) but any kind, including Kief, will work as well. I added the Hashish to the Butter, and let it break apart from the Heat and Pressing on it while it came apart in the Butter. I then Baked 12 Brownies, and everyone got to eat some, But Me. And wound up with a bunch of Revelers to High and Hallucinating to continue to enjoy the Party. each Brownie had super strength Butter in it, with about a Gram and a Quarter of Bubble Hash, they were just way too strong, I guess, as I had Partiers Passed out all over the Property!!! So unless someone is Terminally Ill, I do not recommend Brownies of this strength, unless of course You do not Mind Hallucinating all Day long, and losing Motor Function, for several (OVER 24HRS) of time. I always thought it is fun when That Happens!!!:yahoo: But that is Me!!! Take Care. SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.:thumb:

Raises my hand..Yes sir - I AM CRAZY!! Medically dignosed BI-POlAR 2, with major anxiety outbursts usually full of abuse!! LOL.
But i would like to say, THANK YOU for your nice words bro, im no bloody DR.Greenthumb but ive been around the majik herb since 5yrs old. Smokin it at 15, so thats 27 yrs of learning about weed,im 32 now:( But the problem here is that pretty much NO-ONE knows or tells the strain of weed theyre growing, in fact id guess that 80% dont know what type of plant they have, so knowing what type and trying to buy certain strains really sucks at times ay.. I usually just go by my ol skool mentors philosophy " If its great weed, keep a seed!".. And thus far only my first few attempts to grow really sucked!! I do alot of DIY stuff due to i have alot of big mouthed friends who at the end of the day if they knew i had a nearly ready plant, if we went out, id get broken into by em... So im kinda X-Files style; Trust No One, and if only i kno, only me is responsible if ppl find out.. And thanks for the props to our soldiers here, just like you guys, we strive to be the best and all committed cadets, soldiers will put their lives on the line to save a fellow soldier and just go in and do what has to be done!:thumb: TAke it EZ James, Hope you have fun trimming your 12 pound buds you lucky bugger!!
One day...One day...:) If i can ever move to Cali. Im growin a friggin forrest like urs mate.. AWSUM Natural weed..NUTHIN BETTER.. Be cool. Chat soon, Smokem..

:thanks:

Nice to have another soldier visiting :welcome: We have fun talking about whatever pops in your head, so welcome, and concerning the easy part of growing, I agree, but it kind of leaves me feeling funny, the end is near for this grow, my first grow ever. Kinda feel like that's it, what's to do now? Just smoke? I need to get back to work on next grow, organize, and wait on this heat wave to end 98 degrees today. Good to meet you/grace:welcome:

Utilize that heat and germinate some seeds! Heck yeah, get going on another! I am already working on my next, and I'm not even close to flowering anything yet on my first. Plan, plan, plan.

*Hits the J, passes and turns to his drawing board...*

You're right, I took today off of thinking because of the heat, but tomorrow weather should be in the 80's, I will clean up grow room and tent area, then germinate two more seed types, I have One Free Seed Reserva Privada Sour Kush Feminised, 3 strawberry sour diesel, 2 regular, one feminized. Thinking of germinating all three strawberrys and getting a male for the pollen, then hopefully try to get seeds out of this, I will use the tent that is empty for this project. How does that sound? Also, has anyone grown the Strawberry Sour Kush, feminized from Reserva Privada from Herbie's (FREE SEEDS PLEASE)?/Grace:lot-o-toke:

Just a little idea I'd like to share. Pretty soon they're going to be shutting down the garden centers at Lowe's and Home Depot, etc, I went I stocked up on the Promix and another brand at Menards which was $7.00 for 2 cu/cube, I also picked up 3 bags of vermiculite, This will last me up to a year. I am using these products for my clones right now, they have taken a big jump since being placed under the 400 HPSand good nute feeding and watering, they are drying faster then soil, but they are easy to handle weight wise. I will post pics tomorrow night after watering.

YEAH, Tia Plant PORN!!! Cannot Wait. I was gonna do Pictures Today, but By the Time I got Home, it was too Overcast, Cold and dark!!!, Today was a Weird day, it only got up to 60 Degrees or 64, depending on what You listened Too, still Cold for July!!! I cannot wait to see the new Pictures Auntie, I feel Like it has been awhile since we Talked, I know it Has Not, But when You Care for someone, yoo want to Hear, Read and talk to them!!!:bravo: And No I ain't coming on to You Auntie(I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT), I just Love our Talks!!!:thanks: You make Me always FEEL BETTER, MY WIFE TOO!!!:circle-of-love: Take Care Tia. up here its hard to clear the snow and dig the frozen ground so you can plant anything:)
Ahh. Post 100.

I didn't know they closed the garden centers in different regions. Yeah, in So Cal they just rotate appropriate plants for the seasons.

Grace - Sounds like a plan! Looking forward to the journey!

J& Y, thank you so much, I missed talking at you yesterday, boy I wish I had your weather, didn't leave the house because it was 98 degrees, well I did go out to water the tomatoe plants, they were so dry the leaves were wilting, it's been about a month without rain here, grass outside starting to yellow and dry also, my Hostas plants are starting to dry up, hoping for a thunderstorm tonight, but it may be pretty bad weather along with the rain, with some good you get some bad. Thank you for your heartfelt feelings, it really means alot to me, like I said before, I don't have alot of family to talk to, I lost my favorite aunt in Sept from a brain hemmorage, she was the healthiest little petite beautiful woman, she had a heart splint placed in her and later that week went to the dentist for a procedure, I guess something happened and it caused bleeding of the brain that couldn't be stopped, she was a very healthy 81 year old who still drove herself everywhere, her death was a complete shock. Three months prior to her death my cousin, her daughter died while waiting for a double lung transplant, she was only 45. So, little by little the ones I care for have been taken away from me one way or another. So just typing here really helps me deal with my grief. Lots of tears right now, but needed tears. Thank you for your friendship, and I know where you're coming from, it's nice to find someone to talk to. Tia Gracie/ Hi Y, hope you're feeling better.:circle-of-love:
