PeeJay's Perpetual Organic Homebrewed Soil - Stealth Cabinet And Greenhouse Grow

Looking good my man.

I know Dave's not home but I'm looking for PJ man. I know he's in there, I can smell the weed...
:wood: :bong:

I've just been enjoying some travel and not being chained to a computer for hours a day. The OG was harvested after 130 days, flowered for just short of 10 weeks, 11 weeks from the flip. Brix was 16 at harvest. Yield with a tight trim was 51 grams or .4 grams per day. Been in the curing jar for 6 days and already smokes beautifully with all the classic Kush attributes. Should continue to become even more tasty.

Well, THAT's gotta be the best smoke you've had in awhile! :laughtwo:

Top drawer stuff there, PeeJay - beautiful! And 16 brix - heheh - suweet!

:goodjob::cheer::bravo:

Beautiful PeeJay! Looks like some real top-shelf stuff. Scratch and sniff pics would be nice, is that too much to ask for?
What's next for you?

I've spent too many years buying wine en masse and cooking to get too into describing aromas. The first thing I smell when sticking my nose in the jar hits me like the smell of burned coffee, like when you get greedy for a cup before it stops dripping and some drips on the hotplate. Then comes a lemon blast.

Next? I have two White Panthers that have been out on the deck for a week or so and were recently transplanted into a 7 gallon and a 10 gallon pots of flowering soil. They have veged for over 120 days; first in three quart plastic nursery pots and then 2 gallon fabric pots. They've never been fed anything except water. They aren't very large because they were root pruned at transplant in veg. I'm going to leave the one in the ten gallon outside and harvest the second week in October if it is ready or not - due to scheduling issues. The second will move into the cabinet in a few days and just flower inside. I have lots of things I want to do this summer that will entail being away. The future of theses two plants is dubious at best!

I'm not sure how much stock I put in brix readings... It's fun to measure though. I have a theory that the crazy low humidity of my climate and increased transpiration boosts my brix - at the expense of yield. The dirt seems to be good right now. I've been using some of the cooked dirt cut with recycled dirt for xeric container plants and they are booming!

The OG is curing into some very fine smoke. It doesn't put me in the recliner as aggressively as the Darkstar does - but it is a nice mellow smoke and tastes great. Comfortable like a fine pair of shoes.

Very high grade bud that you produced. Bravo my friend! :cheer:

Thank you, Lester. You grow some pretty smoke yourself! I'm feeling content that I can grow my own that is on the level of the best dispensary weed available to me - or even superior. I just do one smallish flowering plant at a time, make it as nice as I can, and it's a relaxing hobby.

Wow, beautiful! Is that strain you used known for that rust color? That is one of the most beautiful buds I've ever seen!

:)

I went and looked at other pictures. The strain seems to produce many red/orange pistils. Mine is the reddest I've seen - but not the frostiest...

Congrats PJ...

Hey PeeJay just wanted to stop by and thank you for the sound advice, one of my ladies finished up a week early, she was the runt i wasn't expecting much more than an oz dry but it weighed 2.9oz dry with no lumber.

I don't wan't to clog up your journal with my pics stop by and take a look :cheesygrinsmiley:

Cheers once again top man !!

You done good, VG! Here's a picture of the two White Panthers living out in the ghetto deck garden. These are funny. They sprouted on the 9th of January and were kept small in the veg box by root pruning and neglect! Hard to believe they are 140 days + old! They have really taken off since being moved outside and into larger containers. Never fed anything but RO water... There is some burning from where foliage got too close to the CLFs in the veg box, but they are really kicking now. I may leave them both out, or I may move one inside and flower it. Haven't decided yet.

To make up for that boring picture here is some bud porn from the OG harvest.

I'm going to have this moved to completed journals and start a new journal for the couple of plants out on the deck. I'll plow back through this journal and add their whole story to the new journal. These were sprouted as part of the CLF seedling testing way back in January.
