Hey Carass have you thought about running Enzyme cleaner in the sip . Definitely keep the roots clear for the up take and what ever else would try to grow .

probably not necessary so long as you keep refreshing the res. it's the same in hempy. you can't over water.

it's an enzyme cleaner. you could try it, but it's generally more useful in active systems. sips, swick, and hempy are all passive.

Day 14 in the SIP for the ATF- she's liking it in there, and she drinks a lot for a little gal!
A little bigger than she was on Monday:

Both of 'em..(AHa hanging on the wall)

The AHa got topped about an hour ago- I'll give her a day to recover, then it's transplant time!

Getting her out of that cup should be "interesting"... good root growth, though...

So, she'll go into her sip tomorrow... along (hopefully) with most of those roots...

She looked so pretty this morning, I just had to post a few pics....

Ha! Mrs.C.'s cuticle scissors made short work of that cup! Saved almost all of the roots, too!
Figured I'd get that chore behind me...now if she doesn't fall out the bottom during tomorrows transplant, I'll be doing ok...

They're doing even better, now that they're both fully adjusted to the SIP life...
The ATF took about a week to convert to the SIP, but the AHa, since she'd only been bottom/wick watered her whole life (17 days) never missed a beat- topped one day, transplanted the next, and she never so much as drooped a little...
I'm liking this new system, and apparently the plants are too!

Happy Monday everyone! It's that time again...so here's a little Update on things around here...

First up- the SaugaView®, ATF photo on the left, Amnesia Haze auto on the right..

The ATF is 38 days old today, 18 of those days in the SIP- the AHa is 22 days old, 4 of those days in the SIP

I initially thought this ATF was a runt- (I was wrong)...she seemed a bit sickly until she got topped 22 days ago...but once I chopped her head off, she really started getting with the program...

The AHa Got topped 5 days ago, then transplanted into her SIP 4 days ago- she liked it in there right off the bat...She was wick-watered in a solo cup for her first 18 days, and I think that may of pre-conditioned her for life in a SIP...

I have to use a dipstick, instead of a float, to check the water level in the black SIP -that 1/2" pvc pipe is too small to work with any float material I've got around here, so a dipstick it is...

The ATF is 4.5" tall now x apx.12" wide...I've done the usual defoliating-anything blocking a budsite had to go...

The AHa is a little shorter, at 4" tall x 8" wide- she's got some big ass leaves on her...
She's not showing any sign of pistils on day 22-
so that's good, I hope she holds off for another ten days or so..but ya never know...

One more shot of the happy couple...the Grow Dots are taking good care of them so far...

And finally, a word from my little porcine mascot: (lil Nova made me draw a face on it )

And ya just can't argue with that!

That Tent Pig is really doing good things in there! I'm not sure of the correct proximity to the fill tube but I'm sure someone in the SIP thread can give you that answer.

Two happy plants in that space are a nice sight so I'll be sad to see the AHa leave, but needs must!
