Cottage 420's Organic Perpetual Indoor Garden

I'm so far behind in all of my reads,,, but that last JD plant,, she's going to make some hella colors... She seems to be a finicky plant,, probably with both foods and temps?

Hope ya had a Good Thanksgiving? Or is that just here,, and you didn't have any pilgrims? But anyday that calls for some serious eating should be calibrated everywhere..
 
just running down the last 3-4 weeks here. Slurricane #1 is turning purps so I prolly have at least 2 more weeks with her. Slurricane #2 - #4 they all have a month easy.

DT #10 just getting greasy. Likely be the next chop here. Waiting for her to bulk up a little more.

Mystery Girl has a bit, I pollinated a bud but not seeing anything that look like seeds but I always miss them anyway.

PMB - I have a PMB plant going in flower she's in the back corner and in a 3.5gal pot so not large as the rest of the girls but for sure manageable which is nice. Hard to see her tho in the back and shorter. Looks like PMB with nothing but nug shaped flowers and there's a lot of em.

DT Clone Mutant front right, kinda looks like a leg but made of cannabis. She's actually gonna yield even tho she's only 24" tall. She's actually acting like a re-veg with flowers starting at soil line.

Yeah Toast you nailed it. All the Slurry are nugs except #2 in the back and she's turning into a monster. I took 1 cut got a few roots and put her in soil. She's shriveling up... The #2 is stacking HUGE colas. This is gonna get interesting. She's gonna be a fast finisher too.

Thinking of making a crawl under the canopy and see if I can find a popcorn donor or 3 and try some more clones anyway. The #2 is fruity smelling and the main stem is VERY thick even at the top. All these Slurricane don't need any support prolly wont until the very end.

I've been foiler feeding Kelp Tea and watering in some Malted Barley powder and that helps with branch strength/plant size for sure.

Kelp:

"The most important aspect of kelp is the growth hormones. Kelp contains ample quantities of auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins. All growth hormones play a part in how a plant functions, and are more accurately called growth regulators. Kelp has very high amounts of a particular hormone, cytokinin. "


PGR's (plant growth regulators) + Malted Barley (catalyst of catalysts) = recipe for big strong plants and good resin on the flowers.

That Slurricane is going to be spectacular! It's one of the IHG strains I've been searching for but can't seem to find the seeds available anymore. That being said, I've spent a ton of money on IHG lately and have enough seeds to last a lifetime, so perhaps it's for the best? :rofl:
 
Hope ya get a shot at #2 again.. good luck with the new set of clones. Thanks for the refresher on kelp Bob, read about it a few weeks ago. Good to read it again. Will have to try some malted barley powder sometime.. what I use now works well for me though. Only had to tie up two weak lower branches last grow.. was pretty damn impressed with that. Cause my shit was flopping all over like a gay dude at a titty bar when I used synthetics. #1 looks the closest to the Slurricane pheno I had. Nice frosty flowers bob!:yummy::thumb:

Edit, I went back and found her for ya.. can't see it but mostly all branches are tied up with thin black thread. Thanks for the nostalgia trip tonight!

From my thread, sorry thought to get this out there a bit for others or discuss - watch it's like 20 pages back lol.
I want to know more about the kelp and especially the malted barley powder?
I am a HUGE advocate for Kelp / Seaweeds (only the purchase I made didn't gel with my program so I will try another) but for some reason, in the back of my mind, I remember dry=micro nutes only, liquid=PGRs + micro nutes.
So I decided to do a bit of research as per the usual and cannot find anything that backs up my first statement, only that:
a) Seaweed/kelp contains PGRs and Micronutrients.
b) It can be found in both liquid extract and powdered forms lol.
Where did I hear that and is it true? Also really curious about the Malted Barley.

All I know is brown swears that malted barley can shorten flower times

The girls in VEG, they have your number bro. I got caught up in the VEG room, was a flood, a fan fell over and I almost fell out the window. So I had to tell them why they are not flowering yet. I never get these problems when I have male cannabis in the house.

Sadly, they did not listen to the DT mothers. They just want to full on GTFO of VEG.
