Another dwc grow, well I'm subscribed. Hydro for me is the way to go and I enjoy all forms of it wether its ebb, drip, wick, dwc, ntf, aero and all the inbetweens. Nice grow op brother.

Hey Suka, I know you're bummed about your males you had, but did you at least get some pollen for a later run?

I just had 2 plants pop nuts on me(hermied) and polinated my whole grow, so I know how discouraging it can be to not have things go as planned. Hope you can get some going in the future though!

LOL...I assume your question is a real one and I'll provide the answer....

Hemp is simply a cannabis plant. It's generally used to describe a cannabis plant that is grown for fiber (the plant can be used to make clothes, books, parachutes, and much more - as it was for centuries, and still is in many countries where cannabis is not prohibited!), but you'll still occasionally hear MJ referred to as hemp.

COOL PICS, SOME QUICK INFO & SOME MORE COOL PICS

This isn't even an update, just an opportunity to post some cool pics!

Before I do, here's a couple pics for RVG (who probably doesn't need them & Happy Anniversary!). On her thread, we were discussing defoliation and I mentioned that, while still vegging, I defoliate the bottom third, or so, of the plant completely to improve airflow and allow the plant to focus it's energy on the stuff that will be productive.

So, while I was taking some pics, I took a couple shots of the lower third of the plants:

And, with the LED off (the CFL's make everything look yellowish!):

This is a great tip that I use in my own grow. It was tough to prune off anything when I was a new grower. After a few harvests I realized that these areas get cut away during the trimming process anyway. I don't do any of the screening / bubble hash processes to reclaim THC from my trimmings. Therefore if there is no potential to produce a smokable bud I cut it off so the plant can focus it's energy on the tops.

HASH & EGSS FOR BREAKFAST!

I was thinking about what to have for breakfast this morning, and I thought I'd make some hash & eggs.

For those that appreciate good food, here's my recipe...

First, start with some kief & a pollen press:

Then, load the kief in the press and apply pressure:

Remove the kief from the pollen press:

Check to make sure it's ready:

Then just smoke some and go have some eggs your favorite way - They'll be the best you've ever had!
