Glad to have you back bro were just getting started! For some reason I hadn't set to watch this. School boy error sorry brother I'm all caught up....
Was really nice to see them roots, well happy for you!!
Hi ho hi ho onto the grow you go
Looks fantastic my friend.Hows it going 420 fam! I have just received more signs of delays so thought I'd just get you up to speed with what's been going on. Fingers crossed all of my bad luck so far is only around my set up and not my plants!
Previously I showed you how my drain table was set up with a few beams and a large garland tray. I drilled a drainage hole in one corner and sanded the raised strips back so my drain plug could get a tight seal. My larger tray had holes in it so I taped the whole floor to stop leaks then hot glued the holes from the back.
I thought this would work great but unfortunately it was a FAIL lol once I filled the all the pots and tested the run off the tray dipped between the beams so it just pooled as you will soon see I'm very tight for space and after alot of sweat a wrestling I manage to get some sheets of plywood to bridge the gaps and give it the support needed.. now my trays was finally working correctly
I cut some holes in he tent to run my drain pipes out to a container but my chosen container has not arrived so my pipes are currently sitting on the floor waiting.. I think I'll take my drainage pump down the local and find something fitting there. But that's where I'm at for drainage..
My resovoir and feed pipes aren't even in the room anymore from all the wrestling everything got kicked out! Please picture a sweaty wrestler!
But before they was kicked out I could only find a 50L bin that would fit between my tents so I will see how I get on with that. I whipped up a stand for the res to raise it ubove my pump and screwed my pump to the floor.. I did have two small submersible pumps but found a beast of a pump in my garage so I thought yeah I'll have that I got everything in place like so...
And that's as far is it got my two blue drain pipes will go to a T piece and then into a container containing a automatic bilge pump.
My feed pump is still waiting on two stop valves and a non return valve.. I received one stop valve two days ago so I told the company and the kindly posted another next day delivery... Yesterday came and I had another stop valve arrive but they decided they'd send a smaller size this time soo I have emailed them twice with no reply. That's it for my build so far but once it's eventually complete maybe I will do a quick post so it's all in one place.
Continued for plants update...
Never apologize for a long update!Ok so as you already know my plants rooted a few days ago, I think I had 20 clones root out of 22.. the cheese clones was a bit slower but the mother was nowhere near as healthy. I have kept my cloner running for now with my spare clones incase any of them play funny buggers lol and my recent luck..
I filled my mixing container with 50L of Coco and 10L of perlite at a time (wearing a mask).
Once mixed well I filled each pot and got them in the tent ready for a soak!
As I haven't set up my feed system yet I connected one of my smaller pups to a hose in a 20L bucket and put a stop valve on the end to water all the pots.
Once all the pots was fully saturated with run off I made a little hole in the soil and filled it with some mycorrhizal Inoculants then planted all the clones that had the best root growth.
This Coco is alot more lighter then the compost coir I grew with last time but I'm hoping they will be ok for 5ish days before they want feeding again.. I want to let the roots reach out in search for more water/food to maximise on root growth and I will probably do this for the first two feedings then I will pick up the pace. Obviously if the plants say otherwise they will get what they want.
And that's it for now the pool in the corner is a good sign lol it means my table is draining the right way I just have the drain hose raised so no more could come out.
This is probably my longest update ever so apologies lol and your time is much appreciated.. hope everyone's havig a great day!
Hell yeah, let's grow big dawg! looking great.Ok so as you already know my plants rooted a few days ago, I think I had 20 clones root out of 22.. the cheese clones was a bit slower but the mother was nowhere near as healthy. Thanks Bill! Yes great advice they tipped over many times in the process as they are now bridged with 4mm ply that can be screwed to the beams to secure them. I won't be recommending just beams in the build summary postLooks fantastic my friend.
I might put a 2x4 crosser just incase, they could tip over.
I have trouble getting material where I am , even 2x4's are an hour drive.
Good luck with the valve.
Take care.

True that bro F y'all I joke I joke lol.Never apologize for a long update!
This is your corner of 420! Go as long as you need brother!
Loving the setup!
Personally it’s too many moving parts for me I need the buffer of soil otherwise im too busy for all that!
You may have to help me on a small f&d build in the future
Thanks Mr green! I'm hoping for them results I see you getting you kill it every time! I need to workout how much I saved building a table rather then buying one bits probably worth it if I'd done it right the first time but I know irrigation stuff is cheaper and more available where you are!Hell yeah, let's grow big dawg! looking great.
This is the setup I want to run pretty soon bro.
Seen some crazy results. Just need to get it going.
We're moving slower then I thought we would be! It'll been a week Tuesday and I thought Coco would have dried out a bit more but tomorrow I will feed again at higher ec. New nutrients this round so took it easy!Cheers braddah! How them clones coming along!
Yeah feed until run off every time @ 5.6.. only reason my run off was 6.2 was because I left it a week before feed.. when it dries too much the salts will go up.. you can do longer ferts or more frequent and it will come back down bro no dramasThey look great to me bro!
After couple weeks those clones will take off. Are you feeding until run off @ 5.8 ph?
Growing in coco, @Bill284 has a lot of experience.
Have a great night at work
