Heirlooms' Hashplant Haze Hydro Perpetual Grow

re: Heirlooms' Hashplant Haze Hydro Perpetual Grow

good to have you back, friend. I trust everything was easy to do, and you honored him in your own way. Plants are lookin good so far, keepitup!

Hi Jandre. It's good to be home. It was a very short trip, but very taxing mentally and physically.

My Gramps was a Navy man. He flew a US flag faithfully everyday, and night with spot lights. When my Aunt called to say he passed I took down his flag and properly folded it (as proper as one person can) and took it with me to pick her up from the hospital. As soon as I got there I presented it to her.

yeah shouldnt be too bad under the dome. i get the most problems when im running the fan at full speed for stem strength, can dry the pot out in an hour, coating the top with vermiculite helps protect the soil moisture. tempted to wrap tissue paper lightly round the pot when using fans...breathable wind break to protect the sides some.

I took the dome off over night. No fans on them yet but one did dry right out. I will be sleeving them today. I don't have vermiculite separately, but I think a hydroton layer on top will do the same thing. I'm going to add that today as well.

re: Heirlooms' Hashplant Haze Hydro Perpetual Grow

Thanks guys! It's only just beginning! Next weekend I change the nutes and they go up to the final bloom step on the BPN feeding chart. I hope these first girls give a decent yield! I'm aching to try my own!

Next weekend 3 more plants go in the flower room. I'm going to lower the screen for that one a few inches below the current one. I think it's a bit too far above the buckets. One of the next three to go in is a low/bushy little monster. She will go in the center for the best light. She's gonna fill half the screen by herself! Let me see if I have a pic.....

I dont think you need to lower it unless you want to. she they will fill it fine:) but thats your grow and I like it:)

have you ever thought about doing a V scrog, you could have 1 plant in the middle and have the scrog higher at the edges of the grow room, this will get a more even spread of light due to the edges been closer to the light, so the edges of the scrog would be closer to the light and this will increase bud size at the edges of the scrog, just an idea, i seen it in one of the contests

Hey DP, I have considered it. I went with the flat for now simply because the WHOLE room is new and adding more and more variables just wasn't appealing for a start up. I did take it into consideration and will be easy to change to later since my 3 screen sections are independent of each other.

Alright, here are some shots of whats in veg.

First up are the three that are next to flower. The one on the right is quite....ummm....rotund. She's gonna take a lot of screen up.

And the three after that....

Three of these will move on in my system. One will either die, go to a friend or get stuck in a pot to see if it will survive.

These are the veg1's.

And in the clone zone I have three Blue Dream rooting I just took yesterday as well as the four HPH and one Grapefruit in cups. This was last night. Today the cups came out and are now hardening in the sun. In their place in the clone zone went 5 HPH for rooting.

As a matter of detail I will add that I am trying the UBT (Uncle Ben's Topping) method mixed with super cropping to train the girls out. Half way through their stay in Veg3 I top again to get my next round of clones.

For a bonus update here's some bud porn on my outdoor Grapefruit. This girl is impressive. She is doing phenomenal considering the trauma she has been through. Of 3 GF's, she is the only one to really pull through. One other is still alive but so pathetic it's not worth the hard drive space to save a pic. In a nut shell they were root bound in solo cups of coco when I got them. Also, they were indoor plants when I got them but I had no space indoors for them. So out in the sun they went with no hardening or anything. Then I transplanted to soil that did not drain AT ALL. One drowned, a second almost drowned and this one was looking REALLY bad. So I rescued two and put them in pots with Pro-Mix and am now on a regular feeding schedule with BPN 2 part. This one is turning around rather nicely. Today I fed her a full strength monster bloom mix.

Not much in the way of size, but she's a fighter!
