It’s funny there’s an episode of The West Wing that features North Dakota being grumpy about excactly that. It portrays a scenario where N. Dakota as a state - so, it’s representatives - is lobbying to have the word ‘North’ dropped from it’s name - arguing that it puts tourists off and is the reason their tourist income is lower that South Dakota... (completely ignoring, you know, Mt Rushmore ) it’s quite amusing but then, I can be easily amused by such things. Has anything like that ever actually happened, does anyone know?

I have the entire show on DVD, the collectors set. I know the episode you're talking about, I bing watched that show all the time after it got syndicated! An all time favorite of mine!

Worst places I have been so far in the US are Baltimore and DC side streets. Most of DC was ok but a couple areas I did an about face.

I'm sure there are areas in almost every major city like that. Every one I've been to anyway!

Friday update time, and the plants are all outside under bright grey skies. The lux are a little low when the clouds come in but I'm taking my chances with the breaks in between! Let's start with a family portrait:

The Candidas are flip day 29 and headed for serious thinning tomorrow. When they're harvested, next for flipping are the Bedroom Cookies, the AK-47, and probably the Berry Bomb clone from Agemon. It gets up-canned tomorrow. I'm not sure what to do with the Peyote Critical top though. I may keep it small for a while, take clones this summer, and recycle it.

The Bedroom Cookies' leaves are curling under. Wet feet? I'm not sure it likes the bucket it's in so I may move it to a 7g fabric pot soon.

And look what just arrived in the mail this morning! My It's It Punch (IIP is a lot easier to type) clone shipped cross country in a clone shipper. It stunk up my office so I put the top back on and stuck it on the windowsill .

It's It Punch clone arrived!

According to MagicJim, the IIP is from Sun Grown Genetics and Boutique breeder, and was bred from Acai Berry Gelato x Purple Punch. Graytail also mentioned that Exotic Genetix has a strain called "It's It," a cross between a Gelato and a Mint Chocolate Chip. So maybe they crossed it with the Purple Punch?

Either way, SweetSue raves about it so I wanted to give it a go. It's one of the plants in the summer line-up. And speaking of, tomorrow is 4/20 and summer seed-drop day . Should I take a chance and just drop one DTF and hope for a female? I could drop two and still end up with two males. I don't have room for two females...decisions decisions!

It's getting brighter outside as I type this, so outside was the right choice .

Well I say what the hell! You got some girls you wanna pollinate just in case? I dropped and Purple Amnesia from Dope Seeds. 24 hours in the ninja juice and she cracked, Dropped her into 5 gallons of recycled coco/ perlite. She's domed up and ready for lift off!

BC2.2 does look overwatered, or wet feet as you say, not sure which.

The IIP can get out of control if you don't keep a close eye on it. MrGreene has one that has taken over the entire tent and practically strangled the lights!

I'm not sure I want to get into the seed game Agemon. And the tent is getting packed up when the Candidas get harvested so I wouldn't be able to isolate him. Bet that Purple Amnesia is going to be pretty . I've got 3 (or 4?) going in water tomorrow: DTF, SLH, and Lemon Potion Auto.

It was bred by Bedroom Farmer aka RichFarmer. Pennywise was gifted it to try it out and was given the nod to name the strain. He named it Bedroom Cookies due to the breeders name and the genetics are Girls Scout Cookie Xtreme x Afghan. It’s very hashy tasting but the cookies come through as well. Cheers Magoo

Glad she made it to you safely and looking good. If you think she stinks now, don't let her fill a 36" tent.

I'm coming up on day 45 of flower with mine and will harvest most of her then. I hear that's the time to harvest for the special date night effect. Three carbon filters plus an electronic whole house furnace filter can't completely contain her smell.

Im nose blind. Can only smell weed on my fingers or in a jar.

I am a bit concerned about keeping it a good size to carry and still grow it for the summer. I'll see if the neighbors complain about the smell .
