Sounds close to what I’ve done, I’d point the fan at the wall all you want is air movement.

10-4. That’s what I thought too indirect air flow, I just got FREAKED out at how much heavier they were after washing them. Wheww!! Can’t wait to take Luna down when her nugs thichen up & her trichs are ready of course. I like smoking it & growing it. You guys know how some nugs like to snuggle close to other ones. Like so tight, you hate to pull them apart to trim in between. Well that’s my question. I’m paranoid of these molding. I’ve never had or seen chunks of weed before, and 1 or two of these nugs were pretty dam dense.

Any buds packed tight like that should be cut free of the stem to lower the mold possibility!

Thanks Penny! About 3-5 days to dry. I’m averaging 68* & 30’s-40’s rh. Honeywell desk fan blowing up and across from under the hanging buds in closet 75% dark during day, & full dark at night. I have Integra packs It’s 62% and 67 grams. Local shop said just dry buds 4-7 days, then toss in a gallon jar with the pack & just lightly agitate them (roll , tip upside down what have you. Does this sound right?

Penny is correct (duh). Fans should move the air in the drying area, not the stems. Keep the fan on low and pointed away from the stems. Here's a good guide for RH in drying and what to do when:

Once you get to the point that they are in the jars (with the hygrometers you bought from amazon, one for almost every jar): $7.50 each, get the °F ones obv...) you burp for 30 mins 2x/day for the first week, then 10 mins 2x/day for a week, then open and close them once a day for a week to refresh the air, the you're in the cure zone and once a week for a month (if it lasts that long!). The Intergra packs don't go in until you hit 62% on the hygrometers. If the RH in your hood is too high...rice balls! If it's too low then burp for less time when getting it down there and then the Intergra 62s. Rolling the buds around in the jar is a good idea to keep them from sticking.

Good morning everyone! Luna day 94...most likely coming down tommorrow, maybe Tuesday.

looks like a lot, but I’d say an oz maybe. They’re REALLY light compared to dos, but stickier, berry smelling pungent pine scent. Also, here’s sum pics of dos hanging for 36 hours so far. Lots of weight lost already

Thanks penny! So when do they firm up into denser nugs? Does the curing help that? So far, the scrubby underneath stuff dried enough to smoke. Still a bit wet, but once it lights, it stays lit! Quality of meds is aabout the same as what I’m buying, but this hasn’t cured. Smoke has no taste, no special aroma, smells like hay, & gets me medicated for about 40 min to an hour. I burn a good bit though. But in my defense , it’s barely dry!

So I was rambling. Does cure have anything to do or assist with producing more dense nugs? THanks anyone! Tough loss boys! Not Antonio Brown! Urrrrr

when they dry they will feel harder and harder when moisture leaves the core of the buds... after 3-4 days the inards are still moist and give in when squeezed ... dont get obsessed by density its not only that that counts

Par snipped Luna this morning before dr. Appt. Rough trim, washed buds, hung to dry with fan in same closet as the buds that have been drying for 72 + hours now! Can’t wait to jar these up & get on with the cure. Dos’ buds feel dry & crispy on outside! Here is the partial harvested Luna buds....

Nice looking buds Moonshine! I just put my Blueberry in jars on Saturday... can't wait until it's cured and in my vape! ..
