This is my first grow journal which I will also do on a few of my other plants I have running at the moment, this is my first ever attempt at growing and wanted to record my progress for research and learn tips of everyone out there... I will update at every couple of days I also have a couple other plants growing which I will make logs for if people are interested

Last night I added 20ml of Swift Grow and 5ml of Swift Fort to 4500ml water check and adjusted PH levels to roughly 5.5 - 6.5

Thank you, she's a day younger then my other plants I got running atm (grandmommy purple, Mimosa x orange and godzilla glue) yet she's the biggest already by a decent amount so I'm very excited to see how she grows

Just prepared some tap water for her to drink, I decided to check PH level of the tap water and noticed it was quite high so using PH down I lowered the PH to roughly 6.5

Temp 27.1°c
RH 69.2%

one of the leaves has signs of curling up so I'll keep an eye on it, watered 200ml of water will let it dry up a little before watering anymore

That's my set up I have been slowly building up, I hope to use 2 corners and stretch out the plants and keep myself plenty of room to work around in

If you think you have ph issues your best bet is to grab a digital tester.
I use a @VIVOSUN 3 in one ph, ppm & temp- great unit economical too.
It'll make things simple.

If you think you have ph issues your best bet is to grab a digital tester.
I use a @VIVOSUN 3 in one ph, ppm & temp- great unit economical too.
It'll make things simple.

Looking better this morning, the leaf that was, slightly curled has opened up more so looks to be fine, the stem is looking to be thick and very green, already looks like she will out grow this pot very quickly so I'll be keeping an eye on that too, not going to add any water today I will wait another 24 hours before watering so it can dry out a little

I have 10 thumbs.
I'm rough on my equipment, but takes a lacking and keeps on reading.

I was thinking to change the pot into a bigger one today but I decided against it since she's been progressing daily, I also want to do some bending and LST when the time is right.. Soil is still pretty damp from previous watering so I'll leave again for another 24 hours


Added a couple of pics for you guys to see my set up, once my babies kick off I plan on utilizing the second quarter of the tent with a suitable light while still having plenty of room to work around.

I am thinking about cutting a custom size drip tray to place under the black pallets that way to catch run off water but at the moment I'm not have much if any run off water as I'm letting it dry out.

Haha thanks I got the tent at such a bargain price I couldn't pass it up I initially wanted a smaller size so I got lucky

The light is one I got from ebay CrxSunny SF4000 advertised as a 480w its not bad in my standards although I don't have anything decent to compare it with, I have it running at 100% and 22" off the pots

A few of your leaves look like they are curling from hot/stressed from the light. Your height seems right, maybe bumping the light down to 75-80 for few days to let them recover.

I got the gorilla grow tent 8x8 (ggt88) for $200 aud so I dived on that before I even had seeds then from there I've been adding bits and pieces

Thank you for your advice I was thinking the leaves curling was the light or overwatering so I've already gone in and turned it down to 75%, do you think I should raise the height a little also?

I still don't have an inline fan with ducting yet but I've been able to control the environment conditions ok so far I think, that may become an issue during flowing well see...

I wouldn't worry about the height that's about where I run mine 16-22inches depending on how the veg likes the light.

Could be a bit from over watered also. I'm a firm believer in Emilyas water thread in my signature line. It's always good to know the feeling of an empty pot. You got this! It ain't no thang!

Its such a large space so for right now your probably good. But I would definitely plan on getting one, but 2 would do you better with such a large space. Then you could control them separately.
