Outdoors IKLWA And Cherries Dubelee In MA

Congratulations Amigo. :cheer:
Great work. :welldone:
The original room marked for growing is now spare.
Since I built a grow room away from the house the room is available, thankfully.
I'll be setting up strings and hanging trays this week.
The ole bowl trimmer will get a work out.
Even at 2 pounds a day that's 15 days minimum, I'm guessing.
Sans Bud Rot.
That could change if things go south.
I'm battling the Rot Monster with everything I can get.
Keeping warm and dry for the next 3 weeks will be difficult if not impossible.
So some loss is expected .
Hopefully I get everyone chopped before the greenhouse becomes an Igloo.
Literally. o_O
Take care. :passitleft:

Um - did I understand this and do the math right? You expect to have 30 POUNDS to trim?

Without Rot 30 pounds easily.
I have 4 girls that are 10' x 10' - 1/23/23
My best was 8 pounds from jher.
These have to be over 5 pounds easily each.
And 20 girls born 6/1/23.
So if my sns works and rot isn't an issue I'm hoping closer to 40 pounds.
But I'll be happy with 30 pounds. 😁
I just need a team of boy scouts to help trim.
Rexer found me 1 pound Grove Bags for $17.00 each.
I think that's the way to go.
Might have to retire the ole Mason jars.;)
They did their time.
Definitely got my money's worth from them.
Where's my bowl trimmer again? 🧐 Hehe

Yes, American.

And after I responded I wondered if the price difference was a U.S./Canadian thing. But that seems like a mighty big difference even considering the border!

That includes delivery.
It was only 1.
I imagine it's probably a flat rate.
So if I order 10 it's probably more inline with your price.
:thanks: :thanks::thanks: Thanks.
Couldn't imagine that many jars at once.

MID OCTOBER IKLWA GETTING THERE UPDATE

Hi all, what a first half of the month! It's in the 40's in the mornings now and this week will host day temps in the 50's. Might crack 60. Mother Nature has been good to me here again this year. That and the ability to thwart off mold and rot by these cultivars! It's a good combination to have!
The week looks fair, cloudy, and rain starting Saturday so I'm picking Thursday and Friday to take this most awesome lady down. Most of her bud is good still! That amazes me! So 4 days from today the axe swings!
She's getting bronze leaves and frost this week! Lerugged, how is she doing? Will I make her thc zone you think? My eye sees more sparkle than the camera does. She looks like she's going to be ok?

Looks like a trimming intense time coming up! So many leaves! Not a one day event I'll have to make a different attack plan. More casual over time sounds good to me!
Have a great day!

Hang it upside-down and whole in the shed and pluck at it at your leisure?

How do you take down a plant that large Stone?

Do you start at the bottom and take one branch at a time?

Good morning Azi! Hehe, not enough headroom but good idea! I can get her in fast if I have to in pieces. Then have leisure.

It's a process. I have to remove the cage first so I take scissors and do that. Then yes from the bottom up they go. I cut a few and bring them to my rocking chain on the lawn where the carving happens then wash and hang. Once they get shoulder height I lop the whole top.

I been chopping bales of pot out daily trying to keep ahead of the rot.
But if I can make it 2 more weeks I’ll be set. Hehe
This all went into the woods. 🥺

Highya SO,

Congratulations on your huge Lady! She is stunning. I agree with others about taking a branch at a time. She's too big to hancle whole! That way, you can trim at your leisure. I'm guessing you have room inside to hang all of her buds? She has huge colas! what a pleasure to look at her!! Happy Smokin'
