I figured you may have done it by mistake, but im easy dont bother me. lol Grow on friend.

Update: AS#4 may be Nepal Jam. I wrote Ace Seeds and showed them a pic of the flower anf they wrote back asking about the smell flavour and effects which I didn’t record last time but this time we are going to do a lot better at learning to describe the aromas at their various stages. So once we have cropped and cured her I will write again to update the information they requested when I have it.

Welcome aboard DV8. It may be the scientist in me but I had to go through several kind of grows before master any of them. Now I have settled in organics as it seems to be the simplest and least hands on growing. The next thing I will tackle is a RO filter install on my house and res tank with scheduled waterings. Currently my biggest job is picking up RO water.

Nothing much to report today other than rh is high. Ambient 60% so the exhaust fans in the 1st flowering tent are running full bore.

The second flowering tent I setup a SCROG.

Oh yeah I was mostly joking. It’s so dry here that humidity this “high” is out of the ordinary. Also I run 70rh quite a ways into flower. Start lowering at the end. I have that tent set at 55rh. It just can’t get to it. I’ve got fans on them too. It’s all good.

Last weekend the wife and I made ice cream. Thought I would share the cannabis crème part of it since once you have that you can make whatever you want.

Flower was placed in the oven at 240F for 2 hours.

I have seen different instructions for decarboxylating flower from 40 minute to 2 hours. If someone has a scientific paper I am curious what the actual time needs to be.

22grams of decarbed flower in 2 cups of whipping cream in a metal bowl on a boiling pot for 40...

We used 22grams. It is very strong crème. I think some of it evaporated during the process so we ended up with 1 cup of cannabis crème and it was quite strong. The recipe I was following said to use 3-5g Rama but usually these recipes are for light weights.

Once I’m done cooking strained with a metal strainer and then a cheese cloth. Set to cool.

Now you can do whatever you want with the crème. Coffee , cooking , the choice is yours.

When we made the ice crème it called for 2 cups of crème so we just topped up the cannabis crème with the whipped crème.

The ice cream ended up being quite strong but very effective. A little chocolate sauce helped tone down the cannabis flavour.

Yes it works good. It should be better next run, I got some folic acid , coconut water, aloe, and some silica. I will start a new grow journal and post it here. Going to be growing Kali China X Bubba Kush. Glad to have you along.

Update:

Hello 420 Friends,

Did a small amount of work today in the garden and I can say that this will be the last SCROG I do unless I forget how irritating it is to prune at the back. Ouch my back!

SCROG tent was finished stretch so we gave it a pruning. The one plant looks like it’s struggling a bit so I amended the soil with some MBP , kelp, neem, and karanja. Hopefully that helps with the bugs a bit too.

I will top dress some EWC if it doesn’t Straighten out . Also used the printings as a mulch. Nightcrawlers were also added but I am waiting on a way to get red worms.

Placed an order for some cover crop seeds, coconut water flakes , 2-row barley, rice hauls , silica, aloe extrac and fulvic acid. Can’t wait to pump this soil into high gear.
