It's been about 12 days since I emptied and added the new runoff trays. With current plant count and feed cycle I need to empty it every other week. It's getting hard to reach so I picked out my old snorkel to the shop vac.

Raised the light all the way to the top. When initial stretch is done and I have an even canopy I'll decrease light distance and let flowers form.

Third runoff reading:
675ppm / 1.35 EC in, 675ppm / 1.35 EC out.

pH 5.5 in, pH 5.5 out. I raised input to 6.3 and ran another cycle.:

675ppm / 1.35 EC in, 650ppm / 1.3 EC out.

pH 6.3 in, pH 6.3 out.

Let's see how the runoff looks tomorrow but that's stable for now. This means the plant has gone into flower and started releasing acid chasing natural P that's already well supplied.

At this stage it just helps keeping pH stable but later on when more is released I will have to compensate with higher pH on the input.

Cheers!

Draining runoff.
IMG_20240322_162508644.jpg

Tent is absolutely crammed!

First runoff reading:

650ppm / 1.3 EC in, 700ppm / 1.4 EC out. Lowering input to 550ppm / 1.1 EC

pH 6.3 in, pH 6.3 out.

Cheers!

This one of my favourite ways of consuming the herb. I believe the best medicinal effects comes from Cannabinoids still intact in its acid form.

The felt medicinal effects are different and I find it more calming and anti-inflammatory and probably the practice that helps best with mobility. Flowers and carboxylation against pain for sure but I like to combine the two.

Handful of washed leaves. Flowers even better.
IMG_20240322_181031670.jpg

Mixed with some whole milk and ice cubes with either raspberries or strawberries and honey for flavour. I had leftover strawberries since last night.

A couple of smoothies a day keeps the doctor away! It's actually really yummy! 😋

Third runoff reading:

550ppm / 1.1 EC in, 675ppm / 1.35 EC out. Let's check back tomorrow and see if I need to lower that further.

pH 6.3 in, pH 6.3 out.

Cheers!

Very sad news to announce. Because of unexpected renovation from the landlord I have to end this grow in 4 weeks time. I will root the clones and keep them for the future at a friends place.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Fuck this shit! 😤
Sorry I missed this.

What a clusterfuck.

Still - got the clones, you and I both know I think that they’ll keep with minimal effort?

Your mate,

Nick.

First runoff reading:

550ppm / 1.1 EC in, 600ppm / 1.2 EC out.

First runoff reading is always slightly lower in EC since it's 6 hours between waterings compared to 3. Let's see if it adds up on the next feeding.

pH 6.3 in, pH 6.4 out. Lowering input to pH 6.2.

Cheers!

Super green 👌 Can really see the stretch now!

Still alot of ceiling left.

No stop on stretch in site. Man do they take off in flower! Even the stoutest girl has sprouted up like a Cookie cut. It's gonna be interesting to see flowers forming.

First runoff reading:

550ppm / 1.1 EC in, 575ppm / 1.15 EC out. pH 6.3 in, pH 6.35 out.

Second runoff reading:

550ppm / 1.1 EC in, 600ppm / 1.2 EC out. pH 6.2 in, pH 6.35 out.

Stable as can be and the girls are happy!

Cheers!

I've increased input feeding strength to 625ppm / 1.25 EC and pH 6.2. Last couple of runoffs have been slightly lower meaning they're eating more.

Let's see how that adds up til tomorrow. Filling up a new reservoir as we speak.

Cheers!

Second runoff reading:

625ppm / 1.25 EC in, 600ppm / 1.2 EC out.
- Stable and within range.

pH 6.2 in, pH 6.37 out.
- Stable and within range.

Cheers!

I need to install the SCROG net tomorrow. It needs some sterilization and cleaning since last run.

The stretch is really taking off and they need to be tucked down to even things out. They've stretched enough to get an idea on how to place them under the net.

It will give some more space and combat negative pressure.

Lights ON!

First runoff reading:

650ppm / 1.3 EC in, 600ppm / 1.2 EC out.

pH 6.3 in, pH 6.4 out
- lowering input to pH 6.1

I'm preparing the SCROG net. I'll let them stretch for a couple of more days then break the tallest ones to fit under the net.

Cheers!

Net barrier installed, SCROG(screen of green). Nice new green thread, I like it!

One of the girls got bent over. It's gonna be easier to position and tuck them under the net to create an even canopy.

Maybe I'll install some side skirts. I just need to find my old spacers or maybe I'll find material to create new ones.

Cheers!

I cut and cleaned off about 10-15 lower shoots that won't receive adequate light and let the focus be on the upper tops.

I lowered the feed cycle to 20 second per cycle. That seems to be enough to get about 10-15% runoff.

Cheers!
