Members may only win this title once per calendar year.

Staff members from this or any other cannabis forum/community can not be nominated.

This contest is open to single grow Journals in Progress only, that have been updated by the original poster within the last 30 days.

Perpetual journals are no longer permitted to be nominated in our contests. We realized that this contest was not fair to those who have created single grow journals to highlight methods, sponsors and genetics, as most perpetual journals are half filled with off topic conversations. Single journals simply cannot compete with perpetual journals that have multiple grows, many pages and years of gathered followers. This is the kind of loophole that creates the "popularity contest" mindset, so we opted to remove it to minimize drama and keep things fair. While we truly appreciate the teaching, content and comradeship that a perpetual journal provides, we cannot allow them to be a part of this contest any longer, nor do we have the time, energy and resources to add another contest.

Please send your nominations to 420 Support (@Renee Roberts or @Teddy Edwards) via private message, including detailed reasoning for your nomination. 420 Staff will assess and approve the community nominations, then members determine the winner by poll.

Nominations are accepted from the 1st until the 14th at midnight PST every month. Approved nominations will be posted shortly after midnight PST and, at that time, the polls will open through midnight PST on the last day of the month to vote for a winner.

Please follow the above guidelines to propose a nomination and do not post or discuss nominations in the contest thread. Nominations and/or suggestions of nominations in the contest thread will be deleted without notice.

Support the 420 Magazine community and your fellow members by getting involved with our contests and, if you don't already have a grow journal, please see How To Make A Grow Journal

@DeeBoy - One Plant Through My Perpetual Grow: Kerosene Krash - Seed To Smoke Report
This month I would like to nominate @DeeBoy again X 3 lol and his: Kerosene Krash - Seed to Smoke Report. Click this link. The reason I keep nominating this journal is because it ticks the boxes when it comes to what 420 Mag wants journals to be. It’s not about the chat. It’s about the grow. The technique, the yield and the smoke. If you haven’t had a look, please take the time to share in his grow adventure.

Tbh I’m super shook this journal doesn’t have more subscribers. DeeBoy is just an all round nice guy who has a real passion for da herb. He specializes in auto’s, and he works hard to make his girls sing.

DeeBoy showcases a really interesting journal, like he says from seed, and not just any seed, it’s a $50 seed, and he literally brings it to life, which is lucky coz it would have been a really short and pointless journal if it snuffed it lolling.

Deeboy talks us through each step, with photography that’s on point.

It’s a great little read. It’s a quick read that’s not bogged down with off topic chat (for that you can catch him in his perpetual journal lollll).

I really hope it’s Deeboy’s month to shine.

Deeboy FTW!

@Weffalo - 2nd Grow - SIP, KS5000, Banana Tropicanna & Orange Hill Special Photos
I’d like to nominate @Weffalo for his 2nd Grow - SIP, KS5000, Banana Tropicanna & Orange Hill Special Photos. Its his second freaking grow! Like a duck to water and the harvest in imminent he’ll be in chop by the time the voting starts. His journal is clear and concise and when he asks questions he frames them in an easy to understand and therefore help way to his knowledgable subbers. The photography is first rate. The writing professional and the journal concise but no less informative for it. They’re downgrading their food freezer so they have more room for bid storage - a seriously level of commitment right there!

@CaptainLucky - CaptainLucky's First Indoor Golden Tiger Grow 2023
I would like to nominate Captain Lucky for Grow Journal of the Month – April 2023

Captain Lucky can be found from introduction of new member, helping out other growers wither it is advise or support, too recommending our sponsor to new and old growers.

CL can often be found greeting new member with a positive outlook and making them feel welcome.

He is often reading grow journal and supporting other growers if needed or just making new growers feel at ease and welcomed.

As Captain Lucky is making his rounds, he is often recommending our sponsors to grows in need and suggesting for possible preventative measure.

@Chasev89 - Grow Number 2 Malawi Gold
I want to nominate @Chasev89's Grow Number 2 Malawi Gold for GJOM. This is his second attempt at growing this difficult Sativa after the first one was destroyed in a statewide move and he has become quite skilled. He always helps less experienced members with their own skills and he updates daily his progress with pictures and explains his techniques.

@Chuckeye - Malawi, Golden Tiger, Wild Thailand & Apple Betty From Herbies Seeds
I would like to nominate @Chuckeye and his journal Malawi, Golden Tiger, Wild Thailand & Apple Betty From Herbies Seeds. His photography is clear, as is his description of what he's doing in each post. He updates regularly and replies to questions and comments. He seems to be taking a relaxed attitude to his grow which makes his journal a very relaxing one to visit. Not to mention how beautiful his plants are!

:goodluck: Good Luck Everyone! :goodluck:

V conflicted. Feel like I should nominate someone for sure to pay it forward.

But seriously tough because a couple of great ones going on.

Nominate so at least maybe one I don’t chose gets in too!

Check the title! its the best thing. Nominate someone that’s helped you grow or made you laugh or wowed with classy photos of their plants or setup, just plain entertained.

Did mine. Like Cap’n said. Who helped you out but also while you were dunno waiting around flicking through the forums made you smile with the way they wrote about their plants. Give ‘em the nod!

Nick
I did mine and got it in before the deadline. Good luck everyone. CL🍀 :woohoo: :goodluck::420:
