I looked into your suggestions Chronic and it seems most likely that it's a phosphorus deficiency. Thank goodness its not Septoria I couldn't stand the thought of her with a fungal infection...I have a bottle of GH liquid koolbloom which contains a fair amount of phosphorus at 0-10-10 so I added to my res at 4ml per gallon.

It brought my ppm up to 975 but I think she will take it. So now we wait and watch but I'm hopeful. I may add a bit more cal/mag if she doesnt show any signs of burning.

Here is a shot of the new air pump setup...

100_05476.JPG

The pump throws out a good amount of air but is damn near silent.

So Cheezy is training well. She has 12 total side branches and the 2 main arms so im up to 14 possible cola sites. I will wait for the next set of side branches to form a bit more before topping her for a total of 18 colas.

I am running out of veg time GRRRR we have visitors coming over for the summer break. Love my family hate the timing. So I have at max the end of the month to veg. That will leave me 10 weeks for flowering.

Since I plan to flip to flower in 2 weeks I'll lighten up on her training and stop the daily plant yoga sessions. Ill just top her in a few days and let her go vert.

ROOT PORN!!!

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by!!! :thanks:

Lil Cheeeeezzzeeeeey!! She making me wanna peek up her dress.
Good work FatB!:goodjob:

Thanks Stage. It's exciting to see her finally start to take off and grow. Wish I had a bit more time for veg. I really wanted to grow a monster.

10 weeks for flower ought to be enough time I hope.

Hello 420 family :blunt:

Time for another update. Here is Cheezy at day 61 of veg

100_05705.JPG

Due to time constraints I have stopped training and let her start to go vert. She is very healthy and starting to develop a proper STANK. Its great to open the tent and get a nosefull of cheesy goodness.

I'm planning on switching to a 12/12 light schedule in 4 days and kicking her into flower. I have been adding koolbloom to up my phosphorus which seems to have taken care of my spotting leaf issue. I will up the koolbloom dosage my next res change once I see some signs of flowering.

Her canopy is nice and even. All the bending and tweeking has paid off. I am a bit of a bull in a china shop when it comes to bending limbs. she has a few pieces of duct tape on her lol. I lost one side limb entirely due to over zealous bending and snapping. But I'm counting at least 14 cola sites.

Roots are getting big :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hope you are all well. Someone smoke a spliff for me cause I'm out of meds boooo

Alrighty folks and here we are at day 67 of veg....

100_05834.JPG

I have left her alone for the last week and just let her grow. I upped her bloom nutes and will do a res change next weekend. She is growing strong.

100_05846.JPG

Cheezy has about 6 inches of vertical growth over the main flux arms so yesterday I put her on a 12/12 schedule. Let the flowering begin!!!! :yahoo:

100_05857.JPG

So the plan is to harvest in about 10 weeks. Hope this works lol

Thanks for stopping by and I hope all is well in your gardens. :peacetwo:

Alrighty here we are at day 9 of flowering!!!!

There are pistils sprouting up all over with no nanners so I'm stoked. She truly is a she.

Growth continues to be vigorous and healthy. Shes put on 4" of vertical growth since the flip and filled out width wise nicely. Shes a few inches larger around than the top of my dwc bucket.

The root ball is getting denser and heavier. It almost is the same diameter as the bucket.

So my question is: Is it safe to defol at this point in flower. I have fan leaves shading possible bud sites
and its beyond just bending and tweaking stems but I don't want to stress her or slow my stretch.... but I've got a damn rainforest going on. What do you all think?

Thanks for stopping by :Namaste: I wish you all good smoke to toke!!!

Quick update at day 13 of flower. Things are going very well. Shes in her stretch for sure and growing quick.

good amount of vertical growth

Just a lovely little plant all the way around.

100_06064.JPG

Good call on the trimming Chronic :thumb: The light defol I performed was mainly in the center and has uncovered some side growth which has filled in the center nicely. It has not slowed her down at all.

I'm currently at 1200ppm with my bloom nutes and shes not showing signs of burn or overfeeding so I may up her to 1400 next res change and see if she likes it. :morenutes:

Ok I've got to tell you that I'm lovin this grow :blunt: this little plant wont quit!!!

Here we are at day 17 of flower

shes finally starting to pack on a little buddage, lots of clear ?pistils? forming and twisting together. Hard to capture with my POS camera.

100_06194.JPG

Id say the top of the canopy is 14" above the main flux arms and 24"across at the top. Shes still growing strong but I don't want her too much taller or wider.....So onto question

#1. I could perform a defol to stop the stretch right?

#2 . My LED light has 5w diodes. How tall should I let my canopy get above my main arms? I seem to get good penetration and its plenty of light for one plant. If I let it get bushier I might have to bust out CFL side lighting.

#3 when is it time for the big strip? im anxious to trim her up and get some light into her nooks and crannys and watch my nugs grow fatter.

peace to my 420 family :Namaste:
