Lookin good OldSkool - good idea with the light canopy.

Discovered another benefit this morning when I watered. Of the 3 gals of H20 I used, the plant retained roughly 2 gals judged by the amount of waste water passing through the plant, and into the plastic drain bucket. Over time, as the roots expand, I should be seeing less water retention, warning me of her becoming root bound.....If my logic's incorrect, please feel fee to correct me on this one.

Okay, it's Friday, completing another flowering week. Thought I'd show something for scale. Nugs are tight, and stink like b&w road kill.

Took a few more with, and without the flash, and using a daylight spectrum CFL. Not happy with the color from any of them. Think I'll drag her out into sunlight next week.

I know a lot of 420 members grow some pretty amazing, exotic, and beautiful MJ causing us all to drool on our keyboards, but it kinda nice to finally grow a plant with some promise. I only hope she's as good as she looks

OMM, no one is as surprised as I am with how Wanda has developed, let's face it, her little seed was rolling around on the bottom of my stash box among her other seed friends (most of which didn't germinate), so it's nothing more than pure luck of the draw. Bottom line, will she smoke as good as she looks? That's the question floating around my brain.

Besides, all MJ strains develop at their own pace, and considering your growing big, healthy plants from known quality seeds, I have no doubt we'll all be drooling over your ladies soon enough

Now I'm waiting to see changes, if any to the top buds since plucking off all the little under developed buds, per Flurples advice. I have them drying out, maybe I can get an idea how she's going to smoke, but I'm keeping my expectations low.

Well, she has my vote for being a great smoke, she's great at everything else.

I followed Flurples advice too. I tried it on three of the girls and left Vicky the way shes was. Well, see if there is any notable differences.

If it weren't for confusion, I'd be without an opinion. Medicated statement if I ever read one.

Earlier this morning, I passed the time checking out the trich's covering the little buds I clipped off using my microscope. I was surprised to see about 40% of them were cloudy. Zero amber.

Being almost dry, I thought wtf, so I flash cured the little tykes.

Smoked a bit young (duh), not as harsh as I expected, with no veggie taste.

I took four hits, shoulda made it three

Tell Granny it woulda been sacrilegious to have left those sugar coated dime size buds to wither away after being sacrificed in such a rude manner

Looks like Wanda's a creepy bitch. Yeah four hits was a tad much. Watched a movie I wouldn't normally be into, my ass super glued to the couch, then spent an hour breathing on Wanda for a ghetto style C02 fix.

Nice combination of a heady high, and couchlock rolled into one. Have to wait to see how the cured product turns out.

What surprised me, like I noted, was the non harsh, almost neutral taste when I expected it to taste like a milk weed/alfalfa mix.

Damn nice of you to say that, I appreciate it. But I almost feel a bit guilty. Been pretty mundane grow so far, haven't had the challenges, and set back others, especially yourself have had to fight threw in keeping your plants growing. If anyone deserves a 'I am so happy for you', it's yourself.

I think you'll make it, you look well ahead of me and I'm hoping for about the same time. Too bad we don't know what she is.

I went over and talked to my neighbors today. It was kind of a hoot. The guy downstairs owns the house and rents out the top floor. He's Major in the Army. I told him I wanted to talk to him about my plants. He said, What plants?
I explained mmj to him and he said if it helps you, who cares. He said he would not tell anyone and would kinda watch out for anything weird.

I then went upstairs and lo and behold the man was a Gunny SGT in the Marines. Told him I wanted to talk to him about my plants. Once again, What plants? He said he would love to toke with me, but his career was too important at this stage in his life (I did the same thing later in my career).
He is going keep a watch too.
It was a bold move, but I just worried too much about it. Guess time will tell..

Maybe shortning the light cycle will tell the plant to finish? I have heard of turning the lights off for 48 hours just before harvest to plump them up. Plus you'll have to cure, which is another week and a half of dank buds hanging around. It makes your whole house smell like someone is smoking a fat joint, and blowing the smoke in your face.
