Welcome to 420! Nice to have you join us. Nice looking start so far.

Like you, I am/was an outdoor grower. I am having to go indoors.

My 1st indoor run had an exteme learning curve. Luckily you landed here and have members with a ton of experience growing indoors; that are willing to answer questions and perhaps even tell ya what to look out for.

Hey Brad. Glad to see ya posting updates. Nice looking roots. Wishing you the best of luck this indoor run.

I got a new transplant in almost the same kind of set up. 2x2 with single LED. Soil (peat) and trying indoor. It's not my 1st run but it has been long enough it might as well be.

Nice! Hopefully it works out for both of us. Lets me know if your doing anything different them I am. I'd be interested to see how others grow as I am just googling and using my outdoor grow experience to guide me.

Well...i didn't measure the height to light. I eye balled it. I got enough fabrication back ground i know my light is about 24".

I am only using a Mars TS600 for the veg. ~90w, but a way better spectrum than my HPS. The spectrum will help with tighter nodes.

I aint checking anything at the moment. It is what it is. Lux? RH? Temp...well I am keeping an eye on that. A.C. running to keep it around 75°.

Soil is a super soil i ran last year in the outdoors. Great grow and soil is still good. I may be able to get away with no nutes.

Slatted floor so there is always fresh air.

You have a tent. I got a homemade box 2x2.

The odds are in your favor. ;)

My light is affixed to the structure so no moving. Training will be required.

She is an AC/DC that i have had for 3 years now? I am falling in love with the CBD high.

Last year's run saw the AC/DC get mites and had a dismal yield of 1/2 lb. So I am needing to up my supply of uplifting CBD. AC/DC is a Sativa dominant pheno of Catatonic. Her high is indicative of here heritage. Great CBD high.

Week 4. Flushed plant out with straight water today with about 6 liters of water. Will increase nutrition strength next water. Still watering twice a week. temps at 27-32 Celcus with light on and 20 Celcus with light on. Been trying to reduce light on temps, unsuccessful so far (avg 30c ). Humidity 40-60 avg 50%. Turned both veg and bloom light on mid week.

WEEK 6 Plant is not as big as I was hoping. Was hoping for a 2 ounch yeild but it looks like it will be shy of that but atleast I have not run into any issues with the plant. Temps been 27-30c , humidity 40-50. Still doing feed , feed, water. Watering 1.5 L every water which is ever other day. May do another higher volume water/flush next water.

Also I will be growing a couple plants of this exact same strain outdoors in the summer to compare indoor to outdoor grow and I may also do one with the same feed as now and one with miracle grow feed/Promix feed. If anyone is interested I will do a grow journal on them.

WEEK 7.5
If anyone could help is it normal for bottom leaves to start dying this rapid and have some brown spots on upper leaves?

Looks like you may have been overwatering a bit throughout the grow. Remeber to let it dry right out in veg.
Can you describe how you are feeding these girls. How much runnoff?
Did the nute schedule have a flush anywhere in it?
I've been doing feed, feed, water. The feed chart recommends are for 3.5 liters but I didn't want to give the plant that much water at once so Ive been doing 1.5L each water and been halfing the nutes to match the same ratio as recommended. I water about every other day. The chart only says to flush at the end, I just thought it's good to flush once in awhile throughout the plants life. When watering 1.5L there is very little to no run off of water.

In veg stage I only watered once or twice a week.

WEEK 8
The dying leaves don't seem to be getting worse and I don't feel concerned anymore. In one photo you can see there are some amber trichomes so I suspect 2 more weeks and it should be ready to harvest. Buds seem to be gaining good size now.

WEEK 9
Have increased the amount of water I give the plants per water and the plant seems pretty happy with it. Checked Trichomes on largest bud with magnifying glass and they are all milky coloured but no amber trichomes yet. One more week is the estimate grow time, may have to go to 11 weeks on this plant.

WEEK 10 (70 days)
Thrichomes are 5% to 20 % amber depending on the the bud I look at. I gave the plant it's last feed yesterday. Doing a large volume water flush today and plan to harvest in 2 or 3 days when the soil drys out again.
