Graytail's Cupwinners in High Brix Soil - 4x4 - 600W HPS - Perpetual

Thanks Reg! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I've gotten kinda tired of the "bummer plants". Right now everything is thriving, knock on wood.

amazing garden Graytail!!!

your plants look amazing...fake looking leaves and incredible amount of resin!! looks like you have the kit dialed in +REP!!!!:bravo::goodjob:

Looking really good, Graytail! The WP is looking healthy. Mine has started coloring up this week - lots of red and orange pistils - she lost that "white look." But, she's doing her thing like a champ.

Thanks a ton for the reps, sir! I am starting to get a feel for how the high brix tools work - this coming run with the Panama and Wild Thailand should be the best.

Cool! I'll have to look for that. I just sampled a bud I took yesterday and holy crap this is good pot! At first I thought it was an indica punch that hit me, but it was just a full-on stone. Whew! Smells like lemon mint and tastes like Fresca. Dunno, I may have a new favorite. I'll have to hit that pipe again to be sure - testing n stuff ...

Lovely ladies, really well done! :circle-of-love:

Thanks, CareStaker!

That Wild Thailand central cola is going to be fat.

LOL, ya, she's a short plump one, ain' she? I don't know what to expect for yield. I'm just amazed at the frost at this young age.

Update time:

There's quite a bit to report this week. JD3 started making nanners for some reason, so I chopped her. I wanted to go another week with that one, but the trichs were turning cloudy anyway. JD has never produced nanners before - not sure what happened. There was the overfeeding issue, but that doesn't seem like enough stress, and she certainly wasn't overdue. The good news is yield. I think this will be the biggest yet - there were a LOT of fat tops - I'll have the final weight in a couple days.

I've been sampling White Panther and this is a good one, two thumbs up. The stone and the smell are ringing strong bells in my memory - I think this may be one of the old classic buzzes, like Jack Herrer. I haven't tried Jack yet, but I read somewhere that they're similar. I think some of my old Columbian phenos were like this. The leaves bruise with a strong lemon mint odor and the buds add some diesel and a hint of cat piss (first time I've smelled that from pot) when you crush them. Exhale is a grapefruity Fresca taste. The stone is immediate and progressive - kinda sweeps over you. Each hit rises to another plateau, for a nice bright energetic high - not as chatty as Indian Skunk, but a lot stronger. This one has a kick to it - good potency. I haven't cut enough to find the ceiling yet. She's starting to really fatten up now, with two weeks to go. Those nugs are dense - I'm expecting a good yield.

Panama contiunes to impress me. It's been producing pistils for only 26 days in these pics, with over 40 days to go. The leaf to bud ratio is higher than the hybrids, but the trich production is startling!

And speaking of startling ...! This Wild Thailand is simply amazing! Brix is down right now - too much nitrogen from the Energy overdose - but she's recovering fast. She still has 6 weeks to get her brix straightened out.

I'm not sure how well Tangerine Dream is doing. She's done a pretty good job with pistil set on six strong branches and she looks healthy enough, but her brix has been dropping steadily for 3 weeks. We'll see. If I can get her properly hooked up soon, she has potential to be a good one.

This Utopia Haze has a 3-week window to impress me. I'm going to have an overcrowded flower room at that time and she may get her ass culled. At least she finally set pistils this week.

SLH Reveg hit the flower room this week at 13 inches with 20+ tops. I'm going to enjoy watching this one. I haven't brought a reveg to flower a second time, and I'm curious to see what happens. These tops are really skinny, so it's hard to believe they'll produce heavy nugs, but it'll depend a lot on what happens this next week or two. They'll either thicken up and stretch or ... not. It's encouraging that it goes into flower with brix at 14/15, my highest reading yet for a vegging plant at flip.

And ahem, WP1, the White Panther clone, read 16/18 brix yesterday. Apparently, WP likes Energy just fine, once she recovers. She was 14/14 last week. She gets flipped next week along with JD4.

I'm not terribly confidant of this JD. It's old, with purple stems, but decent new growth. I'm already tonned up with Jamaican Dream anyway, and I think JD3 is going to be hard to beat, so I'm just growing this one to keep the pheno going, I guess. I planned to take cuts, but this has been my favorite strain, so it's nice to have one in the room all the time.

Pana1 got transplanted into 6 gallons this week. I'm going to give this one some time and training in veg. After watching her mother, I want to get this one nice and big.

Thai1 will get her new pot next week - same as Pana1, I want this one bigger than her mother.

The seedlings are up and looking vigorous except for SAGE. The root came out of the soil vertically, and I had to fiddle with it a bit. It shed its shell and membrane, but the cotyledons are stalled for now. It may not make it.

Impressive :bravo:

:thanks:

Nice job gray, they are so pretty when they are finishing!

They sure are! In fact, I always find myself desperately trying to time my perpetual so I always have a couple plants almost finished. Heheh, I need it! Yours are just 3 weeks away?

Damn, you're going hydro, man ... you were one of my soil guys. You really should try high brix sometime.

Thanks for checkin' in!
