If Harry moves the camera view close enough to see the cola detail he can't get the whole thing in the same shot and if pulls back far enough to see it all he's standing in the next county.

Taking the plant to the stage of it life shows patience and tollerance.
I noticed a seed in the 2-3 rd to last pic. What was the breeding of it?

Good eye Cherma. Remember that I pollinated select branches on all 5 plants in this grow, using pollen from a plant with more Indica dominance. Every now and then I come across a stray seed from a loose pollen grain. That's what you see there. I was very happy with how the selective pollination of budding sites went. I'm seeing very few stay seeds.

I think the best method is to use a q-tip (or paint brush) and sprinkle the pollen on selected budding sites. I sprayed the other branches around the plant with water to act as a pollen catch. I also removed the plant from the flower room just before lights out to perform the pollination and placed it back in the flower room the following day.

I did forget about adding some perspective, poke smot. I'll be sure to do that next time.

Ok, I took a minute to snap a pic of a can next to Lavern's main cola.

The colas are starting to dry out a little, especially on the ends. Might have to trim some of the dry stuff off one of the tips for a little taste test.

The smell is sweet pine and citrus from Lavern and more smoky and mysterious from Shirley.

Lavern has really shown me something. She's very sweet and tastes just like she smells, even with no curing and it's only gonna get better. Sticky and powerful.

I've been working on one jay all afternoon and I still have half left.

I'm estimating I'm gonna get about a QP from her and a little over half that from Shirley. Lavern's trich production is great, as you can see in these macros.

Anyway, on to the next...

Here's the Fast Betty Clone (choco-shunky) at 79 days into 12/12. I figure she's got about 7-10 days days left so I'll be going with H2O from here on out...

Here's Emma. She has really put on the weight over the last 10 days and she's 79 days into 12/12 as well. She should be ready about the same time as Fast Betty but I may have to let her go a bit longer. She has some really nice colas that are pretty dense and heavy.

And, here's 2 more Fast Betty clones and a Roxy clone that's next on the agenda.

They're all in the stretch phase at the moment but I expect them to produce even canopies when they finish stretching. I have an LST'd Lavern clone that's still vegging. Lavern only doubles in size during the stretch but FB and Roxy will nearly triple in size. I may run Lavern under the 400w at 12/12 for a little while, since I have nothing else in the veg room, at the moment.

Thanks Be IRIE!! Lavern is great. I'm so happy with her. She really is the poor man's white widow. There's some great nugs on that donkey dong main cola. lol

Can't wait to see what kind of babies she can produce. I'm gathering up and separating all the seeds as I go so I figure I'll be breaking ground with the new beans in a month or so.

I'm getting kinda excited about it.

Yo Harry! I'm speachless after viewing your grow threads, when you mentioned the choco-sativa (I think you called it), it reminded me of some Panama Red I used to get in my youth, some of the best weed I ever smoked.

I remember me and 2 friend's couldn't even finish one joint.. LOL...

How I wish I could grow some of that classic pot myself

hey i just read about how you were hopeing they werent hermeies but that is how you create feminized seeds, as long as the plant is a female dominant plant and has a male part or two then its useable male dominant is not useable the pollen the male part makes on the female dominant plant only has the female cromisomse so if you take this pollen and put it on a female pant then you will get feminized seeds : )
