Yes. I gave it a little calcium nitrate...and some eggshell water .. We'll see if I have any more issues with the leaves.

hey man, looking good, I would cut some of that dead stuff off, it detracts from the buds more importantly though, some of those dead leaves are shading lower areas, blocking light from getting through.

buds are frosty and fattening up nicely.

Thank you! Believe it or not, every time I post new photos, I think the same thing about those dead .! . I'm really going to try and do better next time around.

I started a thread in the frequently asked questions forum, asking how and when, I should harvest Betsy, and I still don't really have an answer...lol. Can you explain in very basic terms? Like...should I wait till most of the hairs turn brown the first time? In terms of the trichs, are we talking about the crystals I can visibly see now on the leaves and the bud, or something else? And if it is those crystals, what percentage of those trichs should I wait to turn amber, to get a nice euphoric high, without couch lock?

And yes, they are definitely frosty!! .

OK, so lets look at Betsy a bit closer,,,

all the 'frost' that you see, those are the trichomes, if you look under a 'loupe' you can see they look like little gooey stems with globs on top, when people talk about clear/cloudy/amber that is what they are referring too.

If you harvest are mostly cloudy-clear, it will be mostly an energetic high, more heady,,, wait til they are mostly amber, and it will be more couch lock, body high
I dont know the exact percentages, but I know more amber = more couch lock

There's too many opinions I was researching it before and found a post uploaded in 2016 that confirms your pic as cloudy being the peak and ambers when it starts decreasing

That seems to be the consensus. Except for the guy on my other thread, who kept saying the trichs final color was amber, but before that, they turned clear again. He said that was when the THC was at its highest. No one had ever seen/heard of that before. He basically said all of the information he'd found online, including the above information, was misinformation.
