spacef - Got your PM, but can't reply since I don't have enough posts yet. My NL x BB seed is definitely feminized, but not sure if its auto or not. I've got 2 other seeds I can start (I'm only attempting to grow 1 at a time in a space bucket) while I figure out exactly what my NL x BB seed is.

The Himp:
the leaves are so green that they could be dark blue. It is CHlorophyl A. That blue-green is so dense. I stopped spiruline on day 50. that was only 2 spirulinized watering. I wanted to take the Himp down to make room for a new seed, but it is becoming interesting now.

I've read that it's a good time when you notice the end of your pistils begin to change color. Don't quote me though

:-D yeah it's tricky, the real thing is trichrome color to get it the way you want (more or less energetic/sleepy). but you need to be able to see them lol. Many thanks !!

I was wondering where you get your seeds! Great job!

I get them from european websites, or dutch seed bank directly. alchimiaweb is probably the best to choose seeds, they have an english version (try their "seed selector" , greatstuff !).

- I just flushed Jack Auto 1, because it will not produce much more than what's there now. I used a flushing solution (FloraKleen), because I think I only have 10 days left on that one, so I needed something to speed up the first flushing.

- I also flushed the small Northern Light, because I want to see how it reacts to the flushing product.

I'll wait to get a magnifier and pics for the two others.

Agreed Plants look really nice man I'd say flush these two as well. Forget the flushing products they're useless. Plus your using biobizz so i wouldn't worry about it all that much. Not sure on the crazy mineral stuff you added if it's gonna leave a taste or whatever.

DAY 66 - Better close-up

Here are better close-ups: it's not enough but that's what i can do now.

I think the Jack 2 could also be flushed tomorrow, without any flush product, so I can use the 15 days minimum for soft flushing.

The 2 northern lights x Big Bud don't look very covered with resin. I guess it is normal because that strain is supposed to take 11 weeks while the Jacks should be done in 9 (according to specs).

@spart: the flushing product like FloraKleen are also "salt disolver" ie, if you shower yor container, then use, say 1 liter of water + florakleen, let it sit a few hours or a night, then shower the day after, there is more nutrients coming out. so it helps for those time where you know flushing time will have to be short. I expect to cut the Jack 1 in 1 week / 10 days max. It looks all creamy to me

Also, about taste, no it is the nutrients that taste like shit (have you tried to eat a strawberry 2 days after top max/bio bloom! it is disgusting . The taste does not pass from a plant to another, or even from an element to a plant. I tried a lot of things . Remember that the number one nutrient for agriculture was horse and man shit for centuries !!! now with all the junk food, that kind of nut is probably less popular (especially indoor, lol ;DDD ) . Now the thing is "AquaPonics" (fish waste = nutrients - works wonders apparently, many cool videos on youtube).
Also, no I don't use "mineral" stuff, only organic (ie, elements all come from organic origin, not from mineral origin).

Jack 47 Auto - 1 - Flushed (shower + Florakleen + 1 night + then shower again 5 liters)

I normally just flush let the pot dry out flush again depending on the yellowing of the leaves I'll do again or just choppy chop. I use a magnifier I got from the shop 10 euros for one that goes 60-100x.

I only have two left growing

I killed the "Himp" dwarf NLxBB auto to make room for a new Cali Snow.
The himp did not do any high effect , despite resin present, but really to young yet.

The jack 47 auto that is the most sexy on pics (trichomes) was just AWESOME after 10 days flush (1 final huge flush until clearwater, after 4 days of a flush with florakleen).

I still have the big NLxBB auto that taste like regular grass and don't produce trichromes very fast.

And the last jack 47 auto #2 which is really beautiful, not very dense, but it will be a good smoke.

I will not take any more pictures, nor weight the yield, which is poor anyways because auto+7liters container = growing a few nugs, not worth it. I might submit the jack 47 #2 to the nug of the month eventhough it is a plant too, but it is more like a plant of a single big nugget Visually speaking, i love it because i never had one that looks like that (i only grew 11 plants of various strains so far).

So far, I really liked 2 Autto strains that I grew: Buddha seeds "Syrup" and "Jack 47 Auto" by Sweet seeds. If I had to grow one over the other, it would be difficult, but it would probably be the Jack 47 auto:

- Syrup: social, exciting, creative, uplifting, taste weird sometimes (ginger?) but smells great (in parties people will come to you crying to get a stick). Very good positive high, for parties, or if you are an artist needing a boost etc..

- Jack 47 Auto: relaxing, never overwhelming, peaceful but not lazy, you can keep active without too many efforts of will, tastes very nice (kinda "fresh" or minty, not sure).There is some "afghani" effect in it, the reaxing part, but it is easily under control and I don't think that the very bad stuff that happen when you smoked real afghan hashish would ever happen with jack 47 auto 2 even at high doses.

The rest of them, I don't think I will ever grow them anymore because it is not what I am looking for at all (Sweet Seed Sweet Skunk auto/Cream Caramel Auto and World of seeds "Northern Light x Big Bud Auto" (I don't think it will be fantastic when done, it is not sticky at all, may be it needs 3 more weeks, but that's really far from the factory specifications, so it is a fail for me).


Now, this journal is over. I hope you liked it and that it could help and/or entertain a few, eventhough it has not been done until the very end like everyone else, but that's for various reasons, one of them being "dude, it's not yet colorado here" ;-)
