Hello everyone, this is my First Journal & second grow. My first grow was just a test & turned out better then expected. Any Questions/comments/advice/etc is all greatly appreciated. Anyways, on to the good stuff.
All are Clones from the Dispensary except 2 Bagseed (Mystery's)

STRAINS: (Flowering) : Platinum OG, Headband, Vanilla Kush, 2 Mystery's
(Vegging): True OG & Purple Trainwreck

INDICA/SATIVA/HYBRID: Indica except for the 2 Mystery's which are Sativa from bagseed

INDOOR OR OUTDOOR: Vegg'd Indoor & Flowered in a shed converted to a greenhouse

SOIL/HYDRO: I am Growing in soil & use a 12 site Diy aero/hydro cloner made w/5 gallon bucket but I am also going to experiment with a 6 site 18 Gallon tub I just made for flowering (uses 4" net pots w/neoprene inserts) We will see how this goes : )

MEDIUM: 80% Promix HP, 20% Perlite

CONTAINER: clonebucket > 1 Gallon > 3 Gallon > 5 Gallon

LIGHT: Diy 12 CFL Fixture for Vegg on 20/4, Diy Greenhouse for flowering, Also Testing a 150w HPS on 1 Plant

PESTS: Had problems w/ fungas gnats & Caterpillars in Greenhouse. Been giving doses of Azamax & havent seen a caterpillar in weeks

WATERING: outdoor = every 2 days or daily depending on heat / Indoor = every 2 to 3 days

NUTES: Technaflora Recipe for success kit, DYNA GRO Liquid Grow & Pro-Tekt (Using low concentration on feed-water-water due to shitty tap water until I get my RO unit) 1/3 Concentration on Vegging plants

# OF PLANTS: 4 Vegging indoor, 5 flowering outdoor, 12 clones in clonebucket ( True OG & Purple Trainwreck)

My Greenhouse is an old shed that I replaced the roof w/greenhouse film & is under some minor construction right now. I just finished framing a clone cabinet for 3 clonerbuckets, adding an intake fan & poly film tomorrow.

It is also getting quite hot during the day, sometimes reaching mid 90's so I'm adding 2 utility blowers for intake/exhuast

Thank you & I am not sure. If they are it was unintentional, they were tossed into the greenhouse to flower right out of the shop & have had one fingered leaves since

They'll absolutely grow out of that funky growth, and when they do, you won't be able to contain them.

My experience with plants that re-veg, or enter flower and go back into veg, is that these plants become even more hearty and vigorous than before. Something about it just kicks the plants growth potential into Overdrive.

I'm Glad to hear some good news I was getting nervous. That's actually pretty funny because when I got the platinum,vanilla & Headband I didn't have a Veg room setup ATM so I just tossed them outside. They started to bust lots of pistils at around 8-10" & I was kinda bummed that I didn't get to veg them for a little while so they could get some height & I could get my $$ worth. Now I'm excited to see if maybe I got lucky somehow with them re-vegging. For an experiment I took two clones off of both the Headband & Vanilla & stuck them in my cloner. They nodes I cut didn't have many pistils, Do you guys think the clones will root ?

I don't see why they wouldn't root. Taking clones at any stage in the veg cycle is a-ok,

I've even heard of folks taking clones at 2 weeks into flower... The tiny bud reverts back to new vegetative growth and the plant continues to shoot up.

Blue I checked out your grow & those are some nice looking plants ! This update has taken longer then expected but here they are

Lets start with some changes that have been made in the greenhouse

First, is a clone cabinet that is not finished

Then, I added an exhaust & intake fan ($60 utility blowers)

The plants are loving the lower temps in the greenhouse with those fans & the platinum & Vanilla are interesting how you can see bud development on the lower half & the top half is barely shooting out pistils

It might be a noob question but why did you clip the leaf tips on the seedlings? I have never seen that done before so I thought I would ask.

Thats actually a very good question. Those are not seedlings, they are clones that I just transplanted into party cups a few days ago. They were taken out of my aeroponic cloner that you see in the other pics. As you can see in the cloner I have only clipped about half of the clones tips because I am still trying to see if it makes a noticeable difference myself in rooting times. When you cut a clone, you dont need new growth to grow just yet, you want your clone to form & establish roots. The fan leaves dont serve much of a purpose at this time, supposedly by cutting them you make the plant focus on root growth rather then new nodes. Also rooting clones require less light & fan leaves act like solar panels. They also crowd the cloner a little more if you dont cut which is not a big deal but it is also supposed to slow down the transpiration of moisture I think

I should know in a month or two if their REALLY is any benefits in clipping the fan leaves

Update 8/11/11 :
Transplanted the 2 True OG's & 2 P.T.W. from 3 gallons to 5 gallons

I put one of the P.T.W.'s (purple trainwreck) in a Wicker basket as an experiment, it is a little bit bigger then the 5 gallon buckets

I also put one of the P.T.W's in the greenhouse to flower as I don't have enough space in the Veg room after the transplant. Unfortunately I didn't get to introduce her slowly to the sunlight so hopefully she won't burn up under the sun. I'm going to put her in a shady spot for the first few days & i'm going to slowly harden the other 3 before I throw them in the greenhouse.

Trimmed the ladies up a bit today & started hardening them off with about four hours of sunlight

Also LST'ed True OG 2 (Might put some pics up tomorrow)

(It's odd for me to see a plant that has bud formation on the lower branches with none on top nodes. I am used to seeing the opposite with underdeveloped popcorn nugs on the bottom nodes)

PTW 1: The new addition to flower in greenhouse since last night ( First one for me to flower out of the 2 True OG's & 2 PTW's & also tallest 23" )

Thank you, CFL's are most efficient in the 2-4" range. Anything over 3" and you start to drastically lose lumens.

I really like your Diy lasco fan w/scrubber. I have two of the yellow ones for intake/exhaust in my greenhouse & they blow pretty good considering both were less then one of the vortex's or active airs at the hydro shop

I love smoking, but I equally enjoy growing & always tinkering with my setup. Its fun to switch things around and build stuff. I really wish I had more space so I could take it to the next level but i'm limited right now so I guess I will have to save that for later on

Anyways , don't hesitate to share any criticism or some updates of your grow as well. I think I am going to steal you setup with adding a res just like yours for my 18gal flower tub. Keep me posted on how yours is going

Update: 8/15/11

Little clones in red party cups (all cut from True OG & P.T.W) now have Veg closet to themselves.

All 4 previously in Veg closet (2 True OG & 2 purple trainwreck) were moved to greenhouse to flower on 8/12

They are currently in day 3 of flower since moved on 8/12

Oh, steal away, that is what I did I think one of the first to write about this in detail is a guy who goes by Stinkbud. I love the growing, tinkering and DIY, most of the smoking I leave to the missus.
