Thx Tap and Hashhound, the 9 plants take up about 36 in. squared but I think the coverage for the unit would be best at 30 in. or less
My last run was taken at 53. Nice and heady.
My present c99 smoke was grown by someone on CL, he said he took them at 8 1/2 weeks. Which would be about 60 days more or less.
I definitely think the earlier chop gave a little more pleasantness to the buzz. This batch is a little stronger, but I prefer the lighter higher buzz of the early chop.
I guess its really up to your desire, a little stronger or a little higher.
By higher I mean floaty, smiley high. It seems to me the earlier chop was a happier high,although a little weaker(5-10%).

Thx bro your ramble helped, Ill probably go around 53 or so days, your input was the deciding factor. Are you gunna have a journal or what man!? Im sure they will look purty.
With regard to the phenos, we may need to revisit our classification lol. I will wait another week to say for sure about their smells but just a little glimpse of what I have found -

Nice report on the C-99, looking forward to seeing the finished product. I am also looking for the best C-99 seeds feminized. Since Brothers Grimm went out of business, i haven't found the real deal. Should only take 55-60 days tops for this strain to finish. No amber trics, it will change the affects. Was my all around best plant to grow. Ease of grow, potency, short flowering time, yield.

That's some nice growth! What seed bank did you get the C99 from? (sorry if it was already answered). I've been trying to obtain this fine specimen for awhile...

I checked a few seed stores that carries BC Bud Depot and do not see C99 in their seed list. Did they discontinue the strain?
Try them all I spent like 4-5 hours 2 weeks ago looking for them.
I luckily found 10 reg beans stored in the fridge

Well I didnt really have an opinion formed prior to this thread/grow. But my mind is made up that I will stick with LEDs for sure. I used to use a 600w HID in the past and dealing with the heat etc is an easy trade off for a lower yield imo. Plus with all the crap you gotta buy to deal with HID heat, running AC and the higher electric bill, and hoods etc, LEDs, at least now, arent that much more expensive maybe even equivalent.

Garden update: 44 days in the flower room
First Id like to make a recommendation to anyone who has the money - Get some germicidal air purifiers, I have two for the flower room and main room - cost about $250 each. They have been outstanding, aside from having to clean them about every 2 weeks which is very physical, but better than cleaning your plants of mold and dust and using a co2 system Not too mention they deodorize 90% of the sweet sweet smell.
So I will admit I didnt cut back on the nutes (used same dose as last post) although I had to trim a large amount of fan leaves a week ago. But thats what theyre there for The reason I didnt cut back is I dosed them for the last time before chop and Im going to flush in 4 days (one of two flushes.)
Things are looking good, I think Ive finally posted some bud porn, at least for LEDs. I didnt take any close shots because I have a USB microscope on the way, so next update will be good.

Nice frosty bats. So that's what C99 is all about huh? Haha looks great. What light are you using for the veg? They are nice and bushy. How old are the 3 in the back?

Thanks bro, and thx for the rep points. Im using two 48 in. t5s and the 3 in the back I planted July 1st - same time as the ones in the flower room, I just held them back.
I spoke with a good friend who is a master, he said 8 weeks is an early harvest so I will stick to 56 days. This will give me time to dose them again anyway before I start flushing.
