Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Congrats on the harvest
Thank you, Tim!
Congrats on the harvest of that beautiful plant Carcass!
Thanks, Boo! Those colors were unexpected, but they sure were pretty.... :)
Beautiful buds Carcass!
Thanks, GB!
My boys have been looking forward to this one, so I'll have lots of help smoking it...

And...it's Monday, so time for a little Update...

Not a lot going on right now- My little @Weed Seeds Express Zkittles seedling is doing well...
1.jpg

There's only so much you can say about a 1.5 inch week-old seedling...
3.jpg

I keep the lights real close so she doesn't get "leggy"
2.jpg

The lights are x2- 9 watt household led bulbs with the globes removed, kept 5" above the sprout.
They're a little more light than she needs, and that keeps her from stretching...18/6 light cycle.
6.jpg

This little gal will also be featured in @Trala 's & my comparative journal, so I hope to see you there:

And here's the GSC, still drying for another 5 days or so...that carbon filter (black and white thing at the top) really does a great job of keeping the stink down...
4.jpg

And that about wraps it up for today!
Thanks for looking, I really appreciate the support...
Please, continue to stay safe out there..:peace:

First seed dropped or...?
Oddly enough..yes!
It actually messed up my timing a bit, since "killing one" was figured in to the schedule.. :cheesygrinsmiley: .

Good morning C Star ⭐

You are so orderly and neat. Big shout out to your wife. She did good with training you lolllling.

Congratulations on the harvest of your beautiful GSC, Carcass. 8 oz is amazing for an indoor plant, in my opinion.

GSC Harvest Update!

De- stemmed:
1a.jpg

There was 1 ounce of stems removed from the buds...
6.jpg

And 10.1 ounces / 282g of weed removed from those stems! ...(Me-->😊)

70g/ sq.ft. - 1.56grams per watt (@180w)

She's going into the jars at 59% rh, that's a little low,but it should drift back up over the next few hours...

a little bud
4.jpg

A bigger bud... these things are all hard as rocks!
5.jpg

And the cure begins...
7.jpg

And that about closes the book on that one!
She was the biggest (and heaviest) plant I've grown in the box so far-
Thanks everyone, for following along, and thanks again to the So-Cal seed fairy for giving me the chance to grow a GSC!

I'll be in here tomorrow with an update on the little Zkittlez seedling...
Have a great rest of the day!...:peace:

Nice haul Carcass!

Time to get a bigger box? :thumb:

Thanks, GDB!
Time to get a bigger box?

Ha! That may actually happen in the next year or so!

(sorry it took so long to respond- there was a tri-tip, and it was calling my name :cheesygrinsmiley: ...)

Thanks, GDB!

I hear refrigerators come in a pretty big box. Maybe Mrs. Carcass could use a new fridge. :hmmmm:

I'd make out like a bandit- I get a new grow box, and I use the old fridge to dry my weed in!
Now I just have to get Mrs.C. on board...
right the fuck on Carcass! I knew it had to be bigger! :high-five: Noicely done!
Thanks, Boo! I had to weigh that stuff twice, thought I must've messed up the first time...:hmmmm:
It was more than I thought it was gonna be...
