I think Maracuya is slowing. Sweet Island is really frosting up.
Water dropped, pH 6.0, EC 1.9. Gonna add more nutes later....aaaaand a huge double prop coast guard transport just buzzed the barn. Right....totally normal in the middle of Michigan.

Took photos of the tent girls this morning but more storms rolled through and I couldn't upload. By the time I had internet my 19 year old, pig-headed (just like her momma) daughter stirred some shit up in town, cops were involved, and yeah. I'm a little distracted but at this point it's on her. I'm here for her but she's just gonna have to learn.
SO I was in a mood last night because of external stressors and went to top up nutes. This morning my pH was a 6.5 and EC at 4.5. I didn't get time nor headspace to try to fix it so they'll need to deal until this evening.
I feel they'll be fine. Maybe not. The entire world feels so fractured right now. Deep breaths.

Got home after lights out in the tent and had a peek. They're fine. In fact, they look a darker green shade with that weird shiny iridescent thing that happens in flower. Where the leaves just look 'blue' in the right light. Whatever that's called.
The leaves coming from the colas are 'pimpling' with new glands where trichomes are starting to form. I always see those and freak out, forgetting it's normal (I think)
If this is what it's like to grow sativas I will deffo be doing more. When I say these are gorgeous plants I don't mean mine specifically...just this sativa thing. Thin and mean looking. Like tillandsias. Or spider plants. Exotic. <3 Unf
Internet here at the house is wonky, probably due to more storms this morning. We made a fair sum at the tent and our new baby bird loves my partner, John's, banjo playing.

I’m stoned and didn’t notice what the plant is on the far right of your scrog - Maracuya? I’m wondering - and I am not an expert NOR a doctor - could you supercrop those limbs back down into that scrog? (it took me 5 times to get “Scrog” to overcome autocorrect - and then again in parentheses!)

I asked the Homegrown people and they said her stretching like that is normal. I kinda wanna see what happens if I do nothing. If she starts looking truly unhealthy I'll choose which way I'm going whether it be supercropping or topping colas to backbuild/stack.
I'm just having fun watching a plant go nuts in my tent.

@copperrein maybe switch the light positions... You have a light that covers 1/3 and a light that covers 2/3 but, the big light covers plants of different heights. if you change it to have the smaller light that covers 1/3 of the garden over the tallest plant and the larger light on the other 2/3 that is a lower canopy you can dial in the light to canopy distance and intensity and little bit easier. This might serve the different strains needs better. Having one that stretches more than the others can be something that makes you compromise but switching you light position might give you a leg up.

I think I might be seeing the start of calyx growth. All buds looked chunkier this morning.

I feel like I can do better on the roots next time. Sweet Island shows signs of something early affecting her root bushiness. Dream Queen is soooo fluffy compared to the others but she's a slower grower so I dunno. I follow a couple growers elsewhere that are getting real root porn results from KNF techniques. I keep forgetting I'm running hydro tho so not ever sure if I could incorporate that into my grows. I just want one reservoir-shaped solid mass of roots in my life.

If you kept the ec in check and kept the usual eye on any nasties appearing in the res, I'm going with yeah, I reckon you could.
Nutty is checking the ec and diluting his concoctions as we speak. That will help getting the strength of feed right.

Thank you :O Yeah, Nutty next level. His journals make my brains burn with ideas.
I should really look into aquaponics. John wants to build one of those Cabela's/Bass Pro/Dick's indoor lake fish tanks. We were joking I could grow Gar Ganja or Muskellunge Marijuana...all fed with fishy poo water.
