Next time, I may "cold press" the puck awhile longer before I squish it. Probably just use my bench vise for an hour-ish...

I'm still using plain ol steel plates, uncaged, & heated with a torch. Too many variables involved to also be worrying about a cumbersome puck.

Pretty sure I'll be getting my plates this month though... can't wait! I'd have em already if our recent vacation hadn't wiped the bank clean... lol

That's the main reason I never try to measure yield when I press. LoL, my setup is archaic! I know I'm leaving tons of rosin behind.

I just save all my old pucks until I get a good set of plates.... Then I'm gonna stack em all up for a super-squish!

Today I am getting the ladies ready for flip. Major trim and tie down, will give them about a week and look to flip around then.

After minor trim and tie down on 8/29.

Yesterday 10/1 nice recovery.

Today after major trim and tie down.

If I get the recovery response I got from the last trim I will consider flipping next week or may do another series of toppings.

First thing this morning I did a bit of the G13 Haze in the Evolve Plus. It has been awhile since I vaped any G13, I was so impressed, it tasted like peaches, had to take a few hits to make sure. Big mistake, time for a nap now.
Hopefully I will be pressing some G13 in about 10 plus weeks. In the meantime I have to get busy squishing some Cheese. about to make another batch of hard candies.

Lol funny shit it does look like a hairy scab . Shit taste sweet and skunky. Its a mix of sugar leaf and lower buds mixed up. While collecting the hairy scab pieces was flying every where's. Turned out fire . took a while for it to start flowing. ( 160deg. Slow........ Press ), but once she started it was on lol.

I have done the same GR...I have the... Plus XL..... Rosin in pen is my favourite now, except for a nice joint, old habits die hard.... Hehe.
I refuse to be whooped by the G13..... Im goin in GR.......cover me....

Did a little squish today.
1 zip plus 2 grams of Cheese = 2.98 grams Rosin
0.5 zips of LSD = 2.4 grams Rosin

Know the Cheese is not a big producer.

I made a batch of Hard Candy meds today. 200 candies @ 60 mg/candy. Not as strong as I expected but also not as much of the cannabis taste as my last batch. I believe it will take a few more a day.

I picked up a zip o commercial g13 today, nothing pretty all popcorn, but destemed enough to press without destemming....just pressed 3.2g and it looked pretty high yield. After not having a dab for about a week my face is somewhere around the house. dabs quite nice.
