FAR-RED
maybe not

I will be Reevaluating the Use of the FAR-RED for flower/sleep.
It did shorten flower time BUT I seem to be losing the late Flower SWELL

The last run (1st time using far-red) the overall weight was less than I
expected and this run looks to be on the same track may need to run
these same strains WITHOUT the Far-red next run for a better comparison

I did not notice this until rereading Icemud s Journal using the Far-Red he
reported not seeing the Swell which was my Heads-up and now dont remember
noticing it either.

The shorter flower time may be an advantage for the longer running sativas
but if I will loose the final bud Swell maybe not ?

Might be coincidence but I just finished my first run with my far red QB's and I was thinking the same thing about the swell. Hmmm. They did finish a little bit faster

Thanks, seems to be a trend :hmmmm:

I am only using them for the 15 minutes after lights out to stimulate
sleep but that also results in a faster flower. I may need to adjust how I use them
and during what phase ?

Using only in Veg may be good to get the most out of the lights Out-Time.

Using the far-red at lights out ONLY in VEG could be an advantage, i could
increase the lights on time for possible faster VEG and then remove at the very
first sign of Pistils ?
