2nd Grow - SIP, KS5000, Banana Tropicanna & Orange Hill Special Photos

Half way through the week... woop, I'm glad because I really need to get everything going with my next run!

I just tested with my lux meter, highest point is 963 ppfd just above the highest central cola, the average is about 750-800 - I would say the curling has gotten worse again so I'm tempted to drop the brightness by 1 a bit earlier than I planned.

I planned to reduce DLI for ripening anyway which would be in another 10 or so days approximately but might be an idea to do it now to stop this leaf damage?

Curiously one of the lower budsites has already turned mostly orange/brown pistils, is this normal?

The buds seem to be putting on more frost which is good because I'm really fancying some absolutely coated nugs, trying to keep my patience in check

Blueberry Muffins x 4 have gone into some distilled water that's sitting on a seed heating mat, all 4 have sunk overnight... is that a myth that non viable seeds will float or a fact?

Makes it stressful, having an overgrown monster trying to push its way into the flower room.
Those plants look superb, you're really leaning in to the training and it shows!
Did that early bud stumble into some pollen? I just pollinated a bud and it's gone brown before it's sisters.

Yeah I had it last grow where I mistimed it. I had to veg this girl longer than I planned but that worked out perfectly

Regarding the pollen... I sure hope not No male plants around and only two other females in a prop tent outside this one, those are both clones taken in flower. It's hard to fully get around this massive plant in the space I have it so I hope there's no hidden nanners at the back lol...

Popped some Blueberry Muffins beans yesterday, prepped the SIPs, they are going in shortly I'm just verifying my environment is good as I've made a few adjustments to fit 4 plants in the 2x4 Your production line looks magnificent I might add!

Much appreciated bro These are fast flowering too so I'm thinking I might run it twice and get a little stash going before summer hits, -30 days total if accurate.

Here's a sneak preview of the next grow:

SIP Design (Exactly the same but bigger res and smaller container, 10 litre with 2.5 litre res)

And the new beans:

All planted in the new setup, sips have been sat for 24 hours so the moisture gradient is ready and waiting, new humidifier pipe so the humidifer is outside and a new dodgy heater that doesn't go on the floor!

Running this tent at 29.5c/80% rH and hoping these girls get off to a thriving start!

I wouldn't say nailed down just yet Getting there though, I can almost say one succesful harvest.

The 1st harvest actually turned out fine with more curing, not quite to my standards in an ideal world but a decent smoke and fantastic high so if that's with multiple defiencies I can't wait to see how this next one tastes

Thanks a lot bro, I last smoked this strain maybe in 2017-2018? I had some imported from the US that was grown to absolute perfection. It's pretty true to the name regarding the terps so it's a delicious sweet blueberry muffin type taste, very unique and flavourful. I still remember it well so that's always a very good sign that it was a delicious and unique strain.

The other massive bonus is it's meant to be very fast flowering, 45 days going by the breeder

Blueberry is a fantastic strain although very different to Blueberry Muffin, not had it in many years. All this talk of Banner and I've actually never tried it, I'll have to grow it at some point now lol.

I'd be moving towards clones as fast as possible in a commercial operation, reduced outgoings on seeds and reduced harvest times make a lot more difference when dealing with 30-100 plants. Pheno hunting from seed for the perfect clone would be the dream though, if you could isolate more vigorous phenos or faster flowering phenos it could have a huge impact on your operation.

Apple betty is another one I've not heard of, it sounds incredibly tasty though
