Colombian Gold In Hydro By Gwhunran

Colombian Gold
Day 84 since flip.

The grow area is running normally. :)

Another cool night, and so far a cool morning.:) Temperatures in the grow area hovering around 60F/15.5C an hour before noon.😎

The flowers continue to ripen, not much white left, prettiest color of orange.:)

Got another part for my CO2 system.:) A splitter with two valves,:) a hose for each room.:cheesygrinsmiley: Still waiting on the regulator, before installing things.

Day 7 PHed water.

The flowers are looking finished. :hmmmm: :) The buds are trichome encrusted and it takes a bit of looking to find a fresh pistil, they're covered in orange.:cheesygrinsmiley: The smell is nice but not too strong, when I'm in the presence of the flowers,:hmmmm::) but approaching the grow it's quite fragrant.:cheesygrinsmiley:

I tried taking pictures with the main light off.:) I couldn't get a good closeup. So maybe some individual stalk shots this afternoon.:hmmmm:

I may start harvesting them tomorrow.:) Probably take a couple of days, if I cut, trim, and hang, the way I harvested the Golden Tiger.:hmmmm::):bong:

Thanks LKA, :) I will post this mornings pictures and then harvest pics to this point. :) On lunch break. 😎
The smell trimming these flowers is something you will enjoy. The flowers above the screen are rock hard. :cheesygrinsmiley: I think you're right about the squishing.:cheesygrinsmiley: And what rosin it will be, too. :cheesygrinsmiley: Did I mention the smell. :bong:
Happy harvesting! What a beautiful grow!
Thanks Stone.:) It was almost a shame to cut it down. :cheesygrinsmiley: Almost. 😎

2/3 done.

I'd been trimming all afternoon and it finally dawned on me,:cheesygrinsmiley: "what I was smelling" 😎 fuel :bong: There is absolutely no fuel products in the grow area. It's the smell of this strain being trimmed. So citrus (sour) and fuel. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Colombian Gold
Day 87 since flip.

2nd day of harvest. :) All the stalks are trimmed and hung for drying.:) I ended up with a couple of additional boxes of stuff deemed to small to hang,:) and mistakes with the scissors on some larger flowers:rolleyes:

This is some very good flower :)and there's a lot of it. The bud stays pretty dense far down the stalk.
I will use more of the plant on this grow,:) as the trichomes cover a good portion of the plant.:)

Colombian Gold, Day 87 flower, harvest complete.:) The rest will be picked through for bubble hash.

Looks like a fantastic harvest! I'm surprised at how dense the flowers are all the way down the stem, too. Are you keeping the lowers in the system a little longer?

I was commenting to the wife about my neck hurting. :hmmmm: I realized a moment later, it was from two days of trimming those stalks.:cheesygrinsmiley:
Confirmation!

I've always said trimming is a pain in the neck (as well as a pain in a more padded body part)! :Rasta:
