Colorful Sunset Sherbet Clones DWC

I'm honestly hoping the lower leaves on that branch will help feed the top from below lol.
Your environment will help a lot in reflecting a bit of light up there as well. Hopefully it'll be a good surprise!

Thanks @Rexer we're keeping our fingers crossed. Honestly any amount of bud grown is better than buying it. As long as the plants stay healthy, we aren't sweating it :meditate:

:adore: wow! Great set up and so glad I finally made time to swing by. I cruised through like a netflix marathon this morning. So much good info for my upcoming set up. Can't wait to see these ladies stack up like crazy now. Great job!
Hey @Modest Grower thanks for stopping in and taking the time to make it through the pages of ramblings. We really appreciate the kind words and are glad some of our info here can help you along with your new setup :high-five:

The stank is back damnit. Going to have to clean it out again tonight and this time do things a little different. Currently we are using tap water for this grow. A filter is on its way but up until now tap water straight from the hose has been keeping the girls wet. Been doing a lot of research regarding funky water, root rot, tap water, hydroguard or other bennies. It seems to be a consensus that the chlorine in tap water (city supply at least) will kill the bacteria in hydroguard. So every time i’ve added hydroguard, it probably survives all of 20 minutes before being “cleaned” by the tap water (and probably some leftover bleach from my cleaning efforts).
Going to be ditching the HG for some good ol 30% h2o2. Our local hydro shop is also hooking me up with a high capacity water filter and chiller. Both of which should be here Wednesday. Gonna keep ice bottling away until then.

thanks for stopping by! :passitleft:
Hey brother I hope your well.
just sitting on a job site getting ready for work and reading your having water problems? I will have to go through and read up on what you got going on tonight when I get home but I will pull up a chair if you don’t mind.

play safe and enjoy everyone

Thanks for stopping in @KCCO 77 we thankfully got the water issues sorted out. It was in the early days that light and heat were sliming up the system pretty bad. Now all the lines are insulated and a chiller is running keeping us stank free.

Waater change last night. We have started the “mid bloom” phase of the chart and i think it was the first night of opening the tent and they weren't noticeably taller. Im not gonna start counting our chickens just yet, but you know.

PH is being kept right around 6.0 and temps are stable across the board. Took some more PAR readings at various different sites. The highest we saw was dead center in the canopy maxing out the app at 3000>. Moving just a few inches outward got readings of 27-2900 right on the tops lol.

and a crazy shot showing how thick the canopy is. Really should have pruned these things a little better lol

Damn. Bushy. Lol. Well, at least it seems you're through the stretch.

Its gotta be this strain lol. We tried so much harder to control them this time and i swear you’d think we never plucked a leaf in their lives. It’s like a 70’s porno up in here! o_O
The tent is officially FULL. Good use of that space! Did you really make cate food with the rest of the mother plant or was it a joke (asking for a non cat owner)
Thanks man :thanks: i wish more than anything we could fit a bigger tent in here. It is :lot-o-toke:

Haha we didn't quite make cat food out of it so much as we just feed him the dried crispy leaves. Its the cat from my avatar. He LOVES cannabis leaves, dried and fresh. He’s always had a real delicate stomach and always left his “leftovers” in piles around the house. Since we’ve been feeding him leaves, he barely throws up anymore, his fur is softer (sounds crazy but i swear it is) and he’s gained nearly 4 lbs in the last year. Needles to say he has bags full in the freezer for when the fresh ones run out.

Hey brother hope all is good. Your garden is looking great. You may want to drop a small cheap RH meter right in that canopy. Your RH may be a lot different underneath your canopy and can cause issues. I keep one on top of a bucket in the middle of my system and there’s a big difference between above and underneath canopy
I run a a small 5 inch booster fan below my canopy just to keep the airflow down below.

Glad to hear you got your water figured out.
The chiller is money and with it you will avoid 90% of headaches.
Over at my place I keep my mixes basic just calmag A/B fortifier and H2O2 and never have problems. I don’t run a bunch of jazz and completely sterile.
I find as long as I do weekly res changes and my keep my nutrient enriched with H2O2 and my temps nice and cool as well as keep the D/O levels high it just works well for me.

Anyways I’m getting caught up and look forward to you knocking this one out of the park my friend.
play safe and enjoy

Hey @KCCO 77 Thanks for the kind words man, much appreciated :passitleft:

We actually have 3 thermometers in the tent. They are all wireless and display on the same screen :D. One is below the canopy, one is hanging right at canopy height, and one in the ceiling. Humidity will be a constant issue because of where we live. We've got a fan below the canopy and 2 above it and still the RH hovers around 75% lights out when its raining outside. which happens a lot. It would hit the 80-90% range before we added the AC.

We used to run Hydroguard but it just didn't seem to keep up in this system. Sterile was the only way to keep the funk away.
Thanks for stopping by :thanks:

Cold weather has rolled in yet again making it easy to keep things cool. The other day air temps in the tent hit 74* with the light and i did a little testing with an IR thermometer and got leaf surface temps no higher than 72.4* on the closest buds to the light.

They keep growing closer to the damn light. Just crowding around it no matter how bright it is. Its crazy in there.

PH rises every day to about 6.2-6.3 and gets brought back down to 6.0

ppm goes down slowly throughout the week. And is sitting at 1211 right now after a top off on Thursday.

Onto the pics

Lol. Didn't expect the cat pic at the end. Classic. Wow, they really grew a good bit of frost since the last post. SWEET. Starting to gain weight. NOICE. I wonder if this strain EVER stops stretching? Lol. It's so hard for me to fathom that you still have the leaf temps and air temps you do with them so close to the light. If it's that cool, why do you have to even cool it down? Or is that the only reason it is that cool?

Hahaha he’s always behind me while im tending to the tent, waiting for his leaves  Lol.

everything is set to thermostats right now so thankfully when the air outside cools enough, the ac just shuts off. So we’re getting these cool temps naturally right now instead of having to blast the ac. When its 90+ outside, the ac runs pretty much non stop to keep the temps where they are. We were shocked to see those leaf temps too. The glass on this reflector is barely above room temp so even if they touch the light, the temp wont burn them.

This stretch is one of the reasons i’ll be glad to be done with this strain. Its just too much for a tent.

Beautiful garden Michael. How are you today?
I don't envy your heat issues at the moment. The girls tickling the light, can you super crop them. You have 1 inch left and I don't think that's enough to get you to harvest. They won't fill and swell fully if too hot and bright.
Just my 2 cents great looking girls my friend. :thumb:

I know this cold snap has made my life more difficult. When it's 55 at night the garage gets cold man. When it's 88 or 90 during the day it gets hot. I'm spending more time managing temperature than I am anything else at the moment. Should be better by Tuesday or so according to the weather. This is not the optimum state to grow weed in if you don't have a dedicated room that's completely independent of outside weather.

'Morning Michael!

It's getting steamy in there all right! Sounds like you've got a lot of fans running in there, which will help a lot.
One right below that glass is a huge help!

That's pretty awesome that the leaves have helped your cat :green_heart:

Wow guys, i dont think we have ever logged on here to see so many notifications before. Thank you all so much for coming through to check out our little grow :thanks:

Hey @Bill284 thank you so much man :thanks: Doing wonderful down here today how about yourself?
we actually have the temps under control these days thankfully. AC runs when its hot out and i have spent hundreds insulating every square inch of this garage to keep the hot muggy weather out. Leaf surface temps 1” from the light are a mere 72*f and air temps are rarely higher than 76* at the hottest now that everything is insulated. Ac duct, ceiling, exhaust duct, reservoir, buckets, feed and drain lines. The works lol. Thinking about supercropping once they touch the glass.

I completely agree man. Temp swings here are just ridiculous. Thankfully i finally have EVERYTHING insulated and can get as much as a 40* temp difference between this closet and the outside air :yahoo:

Afternoon @Rexer how are you today?
the oscillating fan i hung upside down in the corner swings back and forth right under the light. I think its where our low leaf temps are coming from :yummy:
Look might fine Mike Hunt
