The nice thing about the all thread, Ronnie, is you could angle your light, if you wanted to. I put the notch in there to make it easier to clip the rings on there. I wish I could angle the lights to 30 degrees during veg. I'm sure it will bug me till u just fucking do it right.

Just more your nice brackets off to one side and the panel should tilt, no?

The plastic tubing that keeps the brackets on slowly vibrates off if you're not watching. The fan vibration works it loose. DONT try this as they may take a couple hours for this to happen. I tried. Spotted it before it was a problem.

With the all thread and nuts you can create any angle you wish. having two rope ratchets lets you adjust the end to end angles and adjusting the nuts to angle side to side.

And like Doc mentioned, moving the nuts in the center to either side, on the same side would impart rotation in the third axis...clear as day.

The hanger holes in mine look like 3/16" and will take a 1/8" rod. I may try both and report back.

you can barely see at the top of the pic (i'll try to take a better one) but I made some v type brackets that are up about 4" from light if I remember correct. Bent a small ofset v on the ends also and easy to take on and off.

Those stock hangers are way too long.

I think I used similar rod as McCdive

It would be easy to make one to have the light hang at an angle also as Doc was asking about.

O.K., so hanging out at the homestead this week (yeah, vacation is awesome) and a short trip to homer's netted me some hardware for adjusting these lights. to my delight, they had short rods already 12" so I didn't need to cut them. They are slightly wide for my P300's but should also work beautifully for the wider P450's too.

Some #8 12" threaded rods, some #8 nylon lock nuts, and some regular #8 nuts...done

I also wanted to take a moment and check the lowest buds on these branches and am also pleased with the trichome production and calyx development on these that would normally be suckers. So, beautiful cola tops are sexy, but even the lower end can be fun...
