HARVEST and BUDWASHING

It's time for another harvest! This is my 4th harvest since coming to 420 Magazine and they just keep getting better and better. Lets get right to it and get dirty.

Harvest- Green Crack

She's getting chopped down at week 9. She is showing 80-90% trichomes, which is what I've noticed tickles my fancy.

********BUDWASHING********

This is a technique that involves washing your buds (duh). This is a proven method to help reduce foreign materials getting into your smoke. The philosophy is as follows "I wash my veggies after I pull them from the garden and before I eat them. Why wouldn't I wash my medication after I pull it from the garden and before I ingest it?

The process is really 3 step process. So, that's how I'll describe how I did it.

MATERIALS

Three 5 gallon pales
Baking Soda
Pure lemon juice

STEP ONE
PREPARING PALES
PALE ONE

Fill the first pale with room temperature water.
Add a cup of BAKING SODA and a cup of LEMON JUICE

PALE TWO

Fill with warm water. comfortable to the touch.

PALE THREE

Fill with cold water

image28508.jpg

STEP TWO

Chop and begin dunking and swirling the bud into the first pale. Dunk and swirl it for about 30 seconds. Let it drip the excess water and repeat the process through the other two pales.

STEP THREE
Hang, Dry and Say Goodbye

THANK YOU! I appreciate everyone that visits my garden and hope that you all enjoy your stay. Create happiness for others and spread some love.

I love the smell of it after washing. After you hang it up -what does your drying process look like from that point on, Mr Pigeons?

She'll get a 2-3 day dry before she gets her final manicure. Then about another 3-5 days of dry. Then she'll hit the jars for 2 months.
