Thanks Shed. I don't know where my time goes but it seems to go there quicker these days. I did get the 2x2 tent rearranged but didn't get any time with the pants.

I doubt there's CBG in that larf since I believe it's converted to THC earlier in the flowering process.

Here's an interesting link that debunks the theory that leaves and stems contain THC.

The enzyme that converts CBGA into THCA only exists in the trichome heads to protect the plant cells from the toxicity of THCA. So I guess it would depend on how long it takes the enzymes to convert the CBGA into THCA if my understanding of the study is correct.

Either way, my timing would need to be spot on so most likely you're correct that I missed the window of opportunity... but hey...I learned more about this wonderful plant

Some of the folks advocating consuming raw fan leaves often mention that the THCa is one of the main reasons for doing it. Anyone with some spare change can have the fans tested for cannabinoids and find out!

And it seems a lot easier to grow CBGa plants with cheap seed prices compared to trying to guess when the conversion time is for immature THC plant flowers.

Yeah...CBGA and THCA actually kill the plant cells. I also found it interesting that the process of converting CBGA also produces H2O2. Makes you wonder what happens to that

First of all, I know they say size doesn't matter, but look at the length of the trichomes on the NL1's leaves in that first bud pic! Looks like you could measure them with a regular ruler. Not to say the rest aren't frosty AF but those really caught my eye.

What else caught my eye was the seed before I even read your header! Original like from when it sprouted? Nah.

Can't wait for you to find it during trim and show it off.

I'm just hoping that's the only one. This is the first time i"ve seen a seed from one of my plants. I guess that means she's a hermie. She's the plant that probably had the least stress throughout the grow

Now all cleaned up...

She's been at the back of the tent her whole life and is not as mature as the other girls. She went back into the tent in the center of the southside where NL2 normally sits. NL2 is the most mature so she went to the back of the tent.

Unfortunately, I had a hard time getting pics with the scope. The top buds have quite a bit of amber and the lower buds quite a bit of clear trichomes. I decided to wait another week to chop.

I thought today was chop day, but, I don't think they're quite ready yet. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting pics w/ the scope. However, there were more clear than cloudy trichomes and no amber to be found. Really weird since I recall seeing quite a bit of amber on one of the plants last week. Without pics I guess we'll never know. So, I guess we wait another week.
