Cultivators 7200w Build And Grow Perpetual

Hey Cultivator lovly jurnals you got.

Couple of questions if you don't mind.

I remember you mentioned that you will be using AN sensi Ph perfect? How is that proving to be? Have you been leaving Ph to do its thing ? Also will you be using Sensi grow and Bloom as well for flower or something else for flower?

You mentioned that as a booster you would use dutch pro explode ? what that be still the case?

Also you recommend great white shark that seems to work a treat! How about TNC MycorrHydro have you had any experience with it? as it seems that it works out cheaper the great white?

Thanks for taking the time to answer atb

wow those are huge smartpots at leat its what it looks like
Chronic Weekend to ya Cult :high-five:

Im using the advanced nutrients ph perfect 3 part. im up and down on what i think of it. firstly it doesnt set the ph between 5.5 and 5.8 as shown in advanced nutes promotional vids. I find it settles in around 6.2. It gives lush healthy plants in veg but im not convinced its the best for flower. Im not writing it off yet though, i like to give things a fair chance and a few runs just incase its something im doing wrong. it def delays bloom by nearly 1 week on my strains, i usually have flowers in the first week and now its more like 14 days.

Yes i'll still be using dutch pro explode. It gives good results and isnt ridiculously hard on plants.

No one could convince me to stop using great white shark now, the results im getting are far better than what i was getting with way more expensive products. ive found the best rooting agent for me and i wont be swayed anywhere else now. the only other root stimulator i use is voodoo juice but im thinking of stopping that too.

@Crawdaddy, Exposure to air during res change is actually supposedly quite healthy for the plants. When I drain/replenish my res roots will be exposed for at least a good 20 mins, and I've seen no ill effect whatsoever.

Awesome thanks for the info...figured as much just did not know for sure.

I normally don't chime in during someone else's journal but I know with time difference it could be a while before cult drops in and I saw you were on so I wanted to rest your mind.

yea when I do res changes sometimes I get caught up doing other things and the plants sits in an empty bucket for awhile with no problems

Hi there mate found your journals the other day and got to say, impressed, i grow in a similar way to you mixing it up with dwc, and soil so will be implementing some of your techniques as you have had alot of success as i can see. well done for that mate.
So couple of questions if you dont mind mate,
No 1, i use the G H nute line and was wondering if the the Dutch pro explode can be used with these ?,
No 2, Ive been having abit of a debate on the uk 420 site about how much max to let your temp drop lights out ? ive always let the temp drop to 14, 15 and my lights on temp is constant 24, but if honest only ever get 2 oz a plant so now im wondering if this guy was right and im letting my temp drop too low lights out ? cheers mate :helpsmilie:
quick run down on room,
L 6ft x W 8ft x H 7ft,
2x 600 watt sunmaster duel spec bulbs in super star cool hoods run on 2x gavita pro 600 watt switchable ballasts with 60 watt boost
2x 5 inch rvk fans tapped together for more exhaust power as do not have inline fan as got 2x co2 Exhale bags, not sure if thats right but was having probs with girls and thought maybe had too much co2 coming into room so took of inline and added to exhaust,
1x ecotechnics enviroment controller controlling fans and heater for near perfect humidity and temps.
oscilating fans x2,
temp lights on, 24, temp lights off 15, RH 45%,
By the way mate the reason for thinking too much co2 in room, all my girls went reallly bright green to yellow leaf's were not dying as such so looked it up and chart that matched my def said nitrogen prob so flushed made new batch of nute mix adding more N but it did not solve problem, girls still growing fine do and flowering nicley. any help with this would be appreciated mate cheers.
using plagron all mix organic soil on this run mate and im just into week 5 of flower 2x cotton candy, 2x white widow.
will post pics later mate so you actually see what im talking about.

Hi mate welcome.

Primarily I'm hydro and coco grower specialising in dwc and.flood drain. However I have the.fundamentals to grow.in.just about anything. I always.work in farenheight for temps as it's.way.more accurate I'm. So lights on 72-80f is ideal, if using co2 running 85f is fine. The.rule for.night temps.is.not to have huge swings. So 10-15 degree diff is ideal. Around 60f is.ideal during lights out. Via gets lower than 55 add a heater and put it on a timer 15mins per hour or so.

Wen using co2 the plants will be more hungry.so.bump ur feeds up. What ec are u at now and exactly what u feeding in what quantities. I've never used gh but explode can.be used with any base as far as I'm aware.

If budget allows 2 1000 bulbs and digital ballasts would improve yield and fit that space.nicely. U prob would benefit runnjing an 8 in fan, something like an airforce.2 super silent on a fan controller would be better than 2 5 in fans. Too much co2 in flower will give.huge buds but it will be weak as piss. It's really good for veg but I.avoid.it in flower as quality and potency is important. If u veg well u will get huge buds anyway.

@Bassman59

Thanks for answering that question, I don't mind at all because u don't chat shit bro. U always give sound advice and.u are always welcome to chime in on my threads. I agree with what u say. I empty buckets and sit plants.in bath.or other empty buckets. As long as roots don't completely dry out or stay in light too long they are fine.

So guys just thought I'd let u know.there will be no Led grow yet. Dankydave is sponsoring someone else and can't sponsor everyone. It's.no problem. I feel I could do alot for any company that's.on board with.me whether it's lighting or other products like nutes. It's.their loss not mine.as I'm still growing regardless. Maybe we'll do.something in future. If I'm honest.I think.it's.incase the lights don't produce, alot of people would see it on my threads. But if u are.unsure how lights will perform and are worried the won't produce, this is the wrong place.to.advertise. Leds must match hid lighting in quality and yield for.me to take them seriously. It's no good them being excellent at vegging but.no substance.in.flower, we aren't here to grow lots fan leaves we are hear to grow flowers. Ofcourse I'm not saying that's way date didn't sponsor me, I'm just saying it may have been a concern.

Sorry about the.typos, it's shit using a phone to post.

Sorry about the.typos, it's shit using a phone to post.

two reasons I couldn't sponsor Cult just yet.
1) I am broke...and cant afford such a big sponsored grow just yet. I will humbly admit I got a head of myself speaking publicly.
2) I have limited stock of the new lights and do not have enough of the right light to sponsor your set up. Even If I sponsored half the size room from you I wouldn't have any of my largest size units to sell until I sold some of my other smaller sized units.

I am definitely interested and want to apologize to all of you here who follow Cult. He is excellent and the more I read his journals I see people ask legit questions and he gives great advice. So far in fact he replies back almost as if your his customer and he is trying to provide you the best customer service he can! Cult your awesome and I am sure I can speak for everyone on how appreciative we are with how you answer everyone's questions so thoroughly. I am trying to get my friend to become an investor partner in my company so I can have more capital to sponsor at least 1 person with a commercial grow set up as well as more Inventory and marketing. I am just a family man wishing I could grow myself but instead decided to engage in the community and provide the best Intelligent-Gro LED lights that I can.

P.S. a lot of you PM me recommending Cult and that was a very honorable thing to do as I see most people recommending them self! I just want to let you all know I heard you!

Mate its no problem and thanks for your post.

i am in no way putting u down and i understand how business works. I hope u succeed regardless. Maybe we'll work together in the future or maybe we wont but either way i wish u success.

So heres an update:

Ive decided to do a scrog grow, just one plant in here. its already been vegging 5 or 6 weeks and just transplanted it to a 70litre pot, i think thats 17-18gallon. the strain is AMS. I plan to veg prob another 2 weeks to fill the screen up then it'll be added to flower room. the vid will show it better. I just used some plastic fencing for the screen. this will be my first real scrog grow, i did do some years ago when i worked in holland but this will be the first time doing it by myself. what could go wrong lol. Actually technically i grow all my DWC plants like this, i just dont use a screen so it should just provide a little extra support and grow a touch slower than dwc.

Cult, I know you said you'll coach me through my next run as long as I upgrade my lights. I've been looking at the LEDs but the good ones all appear to be out of my price range. could you steer me towards anything (doesn't have to be LEDs) that would be sufficient to flower under that I could spend a $100 or less on or is that just wishful thinking?

mate im not sure what price things are where u are, it seems to vary massively place to place. I always say to people but the max lighting in for the space but i understand not everyone can do that. realsitically i think $200 may be more realistic. try getting 2nd hand equipment off ebay or similar, i get all my stuff online.

At the very least i recommend 400w but if u could push to 600w that would be better, u'd pull easy 15oz but upto 25oz depending on set up. If u cant afford digital ballast go magnetic, however they are bit more expensive to run and give off more heat, not to mention bulbs dont run at full wattage for long. im sure u could get a 600w hps, digital ballast and hood for $150. make sure u buy bulbs new though. then u may need a small fan for extraction and some ductwork.

I know u just grow for urself but if u even upgrade this much it will make a huge difference to what u use now mate.

Thanxx for your quick response

Wow you really know what your doing mate. I aspire to this.
I have already created my whole set up for a dwc bubble bucket system with hydrocorn but every part of me wants to grow coco now, how hard is it to switch over?
I'm going to start an finish my first hydro dwc bubble bucket scrog grow but after that im thinking to switch to coco.

Don't worry the spilled water will just add to the humidity for your beautiful plants! :thumb:
