New Flowerbox Test 1: Starting From Clones 4 x SD & 4 x GDP

Thoughts?

Your doing great....that's my take! :high-five:

Hehe, Thanks, bother. Yeah, I just was wondering about the call to chop. She had 20 (or so) days on the rest of them, but vegged along with the others after that. . . . I've never had that happen so I'm kinda nervous about it. So, I guess we'll find out how she smokes.

Trimmed and hanging:

3.5g popcorn and trim for butter or a very tiny amount of hash.

9g wet main cutting. Little fluffy, but I knew it would be getting Flower/Veg/Flower.

First harvest is WAY fluffy and airy. When it snapped this morning, I took a look at the bud, and light passes through. It smells of alfalfa. Might not even be smoke-able. That is the LAST time I let the Flower get interrupted again. Luckily it was only one plant... Dry weight was 2.1 grams. Gonna try a bowl and decide about grinding it up for butter. Back in a few.

Hi Jandre -

Bummer it didn't end up turning out a little better for you. I don't think I've had a chance to tell you - but I'm super envious of that celestron scope you got. That thing rocks bro! Nice pics - and too bad she got interrupted in flower. Well, time to grow some more that's all! :high-five:

Hehehe, we still have the five in the bin. 2-3 weeks to harvest on those.

Don't be jealous! It's only up to 45 bucks! Not thirty like it was when I got 1, but still cheap as hell for the equipment. Take a walk in the rainforest and search this one exactly:

Thanks for the encouragement. I really need it after the flopped first harvest. Kinda got me down, then I realized that second harvest is coming! Not only that, but Second Test Run is set to start directly after these harvest!

The two main plants in this test will be:

There will also be some smaller clones:

So be sure to tune in over there when this one is harvested, as it will start before smoke report is posted here. Yes, I'm a rotator. I can't stand the full reset wait from seed to Flower. If I pop seeds, it will be when I start 1 flower, and veg them for that flower and the next one (four months), so as to have a nice sized plants to go in the third flower. I need to keep it running, or I run out of meds, and can't wait 5 to 6 months between harvests for seed-to-flower.

Today marks the last day of Week 5, so I have some microscope pics for your enjoyment.

GAWD I LOVE THIS THING!!

GDP first, starting to show some amber and lots of cloudy triches.

For those that don't know, this is a very good shot of some amber triches I happened upon, scope-in-hand. They are what we count when looking for harvest day. Note that at the tip of the same calyx are three clear triches in focus. Further in, you will see the best shot today of milky around the amber triches. Also some good milky triches alongside of some clear at the bottom of the frame. I was attempting to focus on the milky ones to give a good representation and the scope was FREE OF THE BASE in my hand so focus is a tiny bit off, but still a good pic for reference purposes.

Then we have the Green Fluffy Bunnies finally showing a good amount of triches most still crystal clear but some milky and 2 or 3 amber. Remember it's a sativa, so it will be clear for a while.

This one is from Thing2 mostly clear and milky, and a few amber at the edge of focus.

PICTURE DAY
Week 6 and things are starting to slow down a bit! All buds are swollen and looking good. They have settled down to ripen it seems, and triches, yesterday, seem to be progressing toward completion in the next two weeks, with the exception of the Green Fluffy Bunnies. GFB looks like it will be a late harvest, as most sativas are. Thing2 and SETI and also lagging, but are sativas as well, and it looks like they will be as fluffy and airy as the first harvest.

As always, the group shot is first.

Had to give you reps for turnin me onto the scope!

Sorry your grow didn't pan out as well as you wanted it to. I'm sure your next grow will be all you want it to be!

Thank you so much for the reps! I think if you ordered it, you're going to be very happy with what you get for the price.

Oh, no! With the exception of the males flashing me one day, and a weak harvest of something that was an accident anyway, this test has been all it was meant to be... The fact that the five in the bin are flourishing in all their smallness (again, meant to be small) makes me a very happy camper indeed.

Thank you, for your words of encouragement! I really appreciate it! The next test should be interesting indeed!

they are pretty lil' girls i enjoy the small scale stuff i did a pc case grow once it was fun to open a computer and find a sticky mini jungle as for pm issues its not a huge concern for me as my location is so arid i rarely see humidity above 20% i work to bring it up ,never have had to bring it down, the highest i have ever seen in the veg or flower spaces right after watering and misting is about 50%, tested on 3 different hygrometers sooo
i still want some effin kc gdp!!!! *SLAPS LEG AND PEE'S A LIL!!!!!!!!!!!*:thumb:

Okay, just to let you know, she was getting PM about every 3 weeks at 25-35% RH.

Damn, I just went back to read this, and noticed that I forgot to mention, that I went to 1/2 nutes, getting ready for the flush. The GPD looks about ready in 2 weeks, but all sativas are going to take longer. 7-9 weeks, I think. So to keep nutes going for the sativas, but to stil be able to get a good flush for the Indicas, I decided to go 1/2 strength this week, and next week will take a look and decide to flush fully or not.
