I would also like to chime in, Duggan has helped me A Lot. He has been mentoring me through this grow. He is a Great guy who is always willing to help us newbs out. Duggan is very passionate about his grows.

I know times are tough right now with this Virus and everyone is on edge. I think this forum is helping everyone get through it with the support of other members. Tempers can fleer up with all the added stress of this pandemic so please take a couple deep breaths before making any rash decision when dealing with others when you are upset

It is not the same here on the mag without Duggan around. I could really have used his input during this harvest. I had a couple problems he could have given me pointers on. I can understand why he is so upset thinking all his hard work is gone or at least no longer easily accessible. He put a lot of hard work into those journals. Maybe someone can put his older journals in a link so they are more easily accessed

Will do farmer. I think the mods get the idea but more positive stories about Doogs can't hurt. I agree, we should not fan the flames with overly negative thoughts about how this was handled, we are ALL human and make mistakes. Regardless of what went down, we all love it here on the mag or we wouldn't be here.

No, the rules of the road clearly states were aloud to go 100km/h. Duggan is respected by many here, and has helped hundreds of growers. They are not arguing that. They’re stating that the rules say, were only aloud ten lines per signature. There are ways to accommodate this. I do believe, that duggs and the 420 mods are working on it. Everybody just needs to relax.

Our government's decision to curtail our freedoms in order to fight this virus has understandably gotten EACH OF US, ME INCLUDED into an irritable state. We all need to keep this in mind and have plenty of mercy and forgiveness towards eachother.

Duggan is someone I respect and admire. He's helped as many people with High Brix as I have.....

Let's just take some time and with a bit of luck and a bit more mercy this issue can be resolved. We all want to see Duggan back, especially me. No one has given more time and energy to helping folks than Duggan.

On the other hand, if I was running a mag like this and learned that the software was drastically slowed down by the long signatures, which caused irritation and frustration across the board.....I'd take action too!

There may be creative fixes to this issue, but if all the staff energy is spent dealing with uprisings, negativity and discord it's difficult to creatively solve issues.

Let's hope that this gets resolved and things get back to normal! I sincerely believe that this is what everyone wants and that it would be best for the mag and all who enjoy it.

Great day to ya'l , gang. So pleased to finally get this new journal started. Please refer to any of my previous journals for a description of my set up. Just don't think it's necessary to always repeat the same info.
I want to take a min. to thank all of you for your support over the years and to thank you for your patience with me when i get emotional or 'loud' u could say. Thank you all for that..
I'm going to give a very loud shout out to our Doc Bud for his continued work and support for all of us using his 'kit'. Without him and his work/research/patience/ and support , there would be a lot of very frustrated growers out there...thank u so much Doc.....

Ok , so on to this next crop. A sativa grow of very high order. These next four plants are all from ACE (tester strains) above ground and appear to now be in the 'safe' zone , despite the last Zam X Pan just showing her SLOW self today. Too bad both emergency second choice strains have split today as well. Oh well, perhaps i should have been a lil more patient waiting for that last Zam X Pan to emerge.
My seeds always get started in #1's , then when ready two each go into my custom 26 gal. 'Rootbuilder' pots. This crop is also 5th run , slightly modified DBHBB soil. They will be under , just the Budmaster for the first month or so , then when size dictates , the others will get turned on.

I'm expecting to really be busy this grow and look forward to this challenge. It will keep me sharp for our talked about Neville's Haze grow this fall.

I will continue mentoring any , and all new DBHBB 'kit' users who ask for it. It helps keep me stay sharp as well as , i get a chance to make lives easier for newer growers and provide them with practical knowledge they can use right away to achieve great 'first' grows without the hardship and disappointment commonly associated with 'first' grows.
Anyhow , time for my first set of pics...watch out ..these pics have a lot of 'green' in them..lmfao.....

Let me see if I understand you correctly. Are you saying if a member doesn't understand an announced action by the people who own and operate this website where you are a guest, that it's okay to...

1. Have a temper tantrum; kicking, screaming and yelling like an angry child
2. Call, pm and email everyone you know to request/demand supporting them by retaliating against us
3. Get everyone in the community all riled up and threaten to recruit everyone to another website
4. Cost us a plethora of time, energy and money giving special attention to everyone who got infected by this

Instead of simply asking us what happened and how to resolve first?

1. We posted this public announcement about it more than a week prior to editing his journal signature.

2. His journals are all here, he just needs to post links to the ten he chooses to promote in his signature. One of you can take him aside to assist with this project, as we are fresh out of time and energy for him at this point.

3. If he wants fifty journals in his signature, he can create a thread in the grower's lounge with links to all of them and simply link that one link from his signature.

After all the crap we've been put through with episodes like this, we now have a zero tolerance for this type of behavior. It doesn't matter how long you've been here, how much you've helped anyone or whatever your social status is. All staff, sponsors and members alike must stick to our guidelines equally, otherwise they are meaningless.

Complaints About Sponsors

If you have a complaint against a sponsor, then your first course of action should be to contact the sponsor directly, via their email or website. If complaints are posted on site, are expressed with reason and rationale and do not in any other way contravene our Guidelines, (for example, no name-calling, immature language or multiple posts), then we will contact the sponsor in question and invite them to post in the thread. Inappropriate posts which are clearly 'sponsor bashing' will be deleted.

Contests
Whilst our Contests are for fun, with prizes from our sponsors, we are rigorous about keeping them open, fair and free of cheating. We have zero tolerance for cheats and always find them out. We do not allow discussion of media piracy, growing without homeowner consent or getting animals high. Medicating your pet properly and responsibly with edibles for medical purposes is acceptable, getting an animal high for fun is not. Photos of weapons, blood, gore and death are also prohibited.

Please do not discuss the shipping of seeds. We appreciate that this may be a bit of a dilemma however, unfortunately, importation of seeds into the United States is a felony. It is acceptable to reference a strain's origin for reference purposes, provided you don't recommend or link to a non-sponsored seed bank.

420 Magazine is the preeminent Cannabis website. We focus exclusively on Cannabis & Hemp; its cultivation, history, legality, applications and benefits. However, Human Beings have been ingesting not only Cannabis, but also Psilocybin mushrooms for well over 6,000 years, if not longer. Both have been used for ceremonial, ritual and healing purposes in the past by many cultures. As Modern Science has rediscovered both Cannabis and Psilocybin Mushrooms in their search for therapeutic agents in the treatment of pain and other neurological conditions, light discussions of other, completely natural highs such as magic mushrooms (non toxic only) Peyote and Ayahuasca are permitted, provided there are no threads dedicated to it and/or the conversation hijacks a cannabis themed thread. Please register a legitimate email address that you check on a regular basis. When members use a fake email and abandon it, the server keeps sending email notifications and newsletters to that email. If the email is closed, then the email provider reports to the internet police that we are spamming. This results in us being blocked and/or blacklisted and everybody suffers. The second consequence is that members try to login and can't because they have to access the old email to do a password change, etc. As a result, we have to spend a lot of time with them, attempting to get them back into their account. For the reasons stated above, we run checks for fake emails in our database several times a month, and any accounts found to be linked to email accounts that are bouncing back, are automatically moved to the "users awaiting email validation" usergroup and lose the ability of future access as a result.

Then I was pointing out that Duggan, a fine upstanding member of this very fine community was caught off guard and stress from our current situation may have contributed to his rant. Hoping that you and others would cut him some slack. I had no knowledge of most of what you mentioned in 1-4 so I cannot speak to that. Sorry that my post offended you or made you mad. I'm just sticking up for a good friend and hope you will talk with him and let him back.

Budley - I'm really sorry to hear about your wife! My partner, common law wife, of 13 years passed last May and Duggan was there for me too.

Your posts did not offend me one bit or make me mad, it did however enlighten me to the fact that nobody knows what we've been through already with him, so many are blindly supporting him against us, in our own house, without even knowing the true logistics.

First it was him co-leading the big revolution against us, when him and his angry, self titled "420 rogue" friends got themselves banned by violating multiple guidelines, then recruited most of the "high brix gang" to grass city. After realizing they all made a mistake blindly following them, him and many of them came back here and we allowed it.

Then he freaked out over not winning a monthly contest, claiming that it was all our fault and we were cheating, then blamed it on all of his friends for not voting for him.

Then he freaked out again for a yearly contest, same exact thing. Calling people names for not nominating or voting for him, upsetting everyone and making everyone uncomfortable.

Now this.

The only reason we've put up with it for so long and given him so many chances, is because he worked so hard promoting Doc and hi brix, that we gave him special attention out of respect to Doc. As we can clearly see now, it was never appreciated and has now evolved into some strange ego that makes him think he is above everyone and can demand that anyone do whatever he says, all because he helped a bunch of people learn how to use hi brix.

I didn't dedicate the last 27 years of my life, risking my freedom building and maintaining this place for free, to be treated like this over and over and over again. We are mature adults, we are all the same species, if you have a problem, talk to us with the same respect you want to be treated with, and we can get through anything together. Act like this however, and I'm going to call you out with our new zero tolerance for temper tantrums guideline.

Wow, this is one case I'm glad the notifications didn't work...lmao.

Duggan is an "excitable boy" as Warren Zevon would say. We all know that. I mentioned my scruff a few years ago...and I can say Rob and the 420 crew were mostly right. We're still friends and this place continues to be a refuge for me. I'm glad for that.

It'll all get sorted for those that want it to. Go vote in the damned contests and browse through the photo threads! it'll help.

I guess my point was the 120 in a 100 doesn't seem that bad but I don't know kmph, I know mph. Should be said 200 in a 100, ha! Still think we're on the same page.
