Fudo's Spring Organic Sativa Grow

@Emilya ,@StoneOtter thank you! I happen to have both the lime and the cal-mag. I also have the book so I’ll make sure it’s the right lime. Tomorrow I’ll give them a healthy dose of cal-mag and Recharge and next watering use the lime. I just assumed because they were so green it couldn’t be a deficiency.
My tap water is 7.0ph and no chloramine. I let it sit for days to evaporate the chlorine.
One of these days I’ll sit down and read that book cover to cover.

Sounds like a good plan. An advanced tip for you, since you are giving regular Recharge, you have no need to worry about the small amount of microbes that chlorine might kill.
There is no need to worry about the chlorine in your garden. Even the meager amount of microbes coming in with each watering in the Geoflora system lets me laugh at the chlorine, and with you using Recharge you are for sure employing multitudes of microbes. But since you are only setting your water out to remove chlorine, you probably still have plenty of chloramine in your water anyway, because it doesn't evaporate. Hooray for Recharge! It has been working overtime for you all along!

Cool thanks Em. I checked the city web page and I’m pretty sure we’re chlorine only, I’ll look again. I don’t know how much it helps but I always refill the buckets right after I water, this gives it at least 48hrs to evaporate. Yeah, I love recharge. Just read a thing suggesting mixing myko and recharge at watering, next time.

and even some calmag without N would be very useful right now... put it in there and the microbes will know what to do. A simple solution is to top dress with a little triple phosphate and let the microbes and such deal with it. And yes, next time invest in a little @DYNOMYCO, one of our sponsors, and you will be able to eliminate this problem and grow bigger roots as a bonus. Don't let the various strains in the room confuse you... some will have different needs than other

I woke up early this morning and gave the girls 8 gallons with 1tsp per gal of Recharge and 7ml per gal of organic cal-mag per Emilyas advice. I was going to try and go with just tea, but why. Will see what they look like tonight.

Hey @StoneOtter , so assuming I have the right lime, I just bubble it for 24hrs and that’s enough to adjust the ph in the soil? The soil has lime in it, just not sure if I used it on re-amend. I’ll read the book soon I promise lol.

Ok you convinced me, I’ll order some for next time. :hookah:

If you get Skunk Magazine online there, The Rev has a weekly note for everyone but really hones in on LOS. There's a bunch of his musings that I find good. The fast acting dolomite was one.
Em has your back at this stage of the grow though I think.
I try to use it asap when I notice a new leaf going wrong. I think in his soil it's normal to use the method regularly. After recycling x many times coco ph goes down as it degenerates and needs a pick me up. That's what I gather anyway.

Malawi/Panama’s a little better, we’ll check in on them in the morning. Next watering I’ll hit ‘em with the lime. They’re still filling in the squares ok but they better hurry, the HB’s aren’t waiting around.

Yes, I don't even follow that trusted recipe. I put about a teaspoon of fast acting dolomite in a 2 cup glass of ro water and stir it up then draw off what I need which is 5 ml per gallon. Next watering I stir it again and draw again. I suppose if I had an airstone going it wouldn't have a stink. They don't mind. My point is that there's some wiggle room with this and it'll still work.

I'd follow his recipe to start before going off the path.

And FAST acting "fast" is important. It'll say on the box. Down to Earth sells it, prilled it's called.

The Recharge and cal-mag did the trick, they took right off again. I’ll still give them some lime next watering, the left MP could be better.

Organic growing and sativas  subscribed  My favorite mix.
Great work on all your plants, that panama red / malawi tho looking forward to seeing that one, doesnt get more sativa than that.
Thanks danishoes I appreciate it. This is my first experience with Sativas and so far it’s been good. Plants are healthy. I don’t think I’ll be able to fill the net though. I can’t let those HB’s get much bigger before I flip or I’ll be outta room in no time.

Day 54

So yeah, I’m out of room lol. There will probably be some open squares but the HB’s are taking over. Defoliation tomorrow, flip on tues.

This is all the lime I got Otter so I threw a tsp or so in each bucket and turned on the bubbler. We’ll see what happens.

The "Raises the Soil PH" on the bag tells me it probably is what I'm talking about. They sure look happy today Fudo!

I had some time last night so I defoliated the HB’s a little. They didn’t skip a beat.

I trimmed the leaves off the MP’s that were in the dirt but didn’t bother with much else. It’s all coming off after 21 days anyway.

We’re heading up north for the holiday weekend so I gave them all lime water with Recharge to hold them over. I’m expecting a mess when I get back on Monday.
