Bad ass screen homie. Bout to put a screen over the girls I got goin with this nit wit wanna be grower. Got hooked up with him after losing everything I owned to that point except a couple of mystery Mom's and 3 donated clones. Anyway long story. Thing is I'm really into organic growing, this guy is financing it all to be a cash grow. Descent soil but all liquid nutes and nothing organic bout what we're doing, but point A (the grow) will get me to point B (the cash), then I can do me like the Great MOM Duke's intended greenery to be grown! Til then, still stack'n knowledge and all the items for my medium, one piece at a time. Today's piece is the lime. I notice that dolomite pellets are frowned on. Why, and what other type or form should I be looking for? Once again, and can't say enough, great greenery and tight screen, to you homie!

Domolite is n bueno, because in the long run you will have ph fluctuations that swing too high and low. Also, it does not have enough calcium carbonate for the 6-5-3 mineralized soil. As you need something over 90% pure so for your microherd to thrive. Im sure there is other reasons...Im just adding my 2 cents.

Yep... I checked back with my past 2 journals to see how its coming along with the GLR and it seems the growth is about the exact same, got my electric bill and was much happier I also was looking to see how long from installing the screen till the flip and it seems with my last 2 journals about 2-3 weeks max I can't wait to see these ladies perform. The sour bubble is supposed to be a very quick flowering one, and she already reaks of bubblegum I'm excited

Glad to hear that your stacking all that info!! I love reading about ways to increase yield, and plant health and everything about growing. I never imagined that it would go from just a idea/hobby to something more of a passion Really glad to have ya along for the ride, and very much appreciate everything you have done to add to the CISPA thread as well!!!!

Thanks for answering that for me Mikey!! much appreciated. Been super busy with job interviews and shiz lately so I haven't been able to spend as much time on here as usual, but got 2 big opportunities in place, so hopefully the offer's come thru in my favor

The best would be like you mentioned....Calcium Carbonate which is powdered limestone. I picked mine up on Amazon.com for like 8$ for a 5lb bag...the shipping was about the same price as the Calcium Carbonate...You should get it as pure as possible "food grade is great" I think mine is like a 96% pure. I definitely would recommend this stuff!!! since I added it my plants are so healthy and vibrant!!! Very much appreciate you following along my journal...and thanks for helping out with the answer to Chronics question...

Day 40 and 41 veg

So last night while my MH light was on I snapped some good photo's of the girls and took some closeup's of there leaves. I am completely amazed at how vibrant and healthy my plant's look thanks to the High Brix method of growing. The leaves all shine with a waxy layer on them, I haven't seen 1 single pest or fungus gnat in over 2 weeks and the PM has disappeared!!! The stems are completely a bright lime green as well as the new growth in the leaves!! I am amazed at this new method

I'm loving this grow so far! It is amazing how healthy they are looking, & they look better every update.

You should consider putting a few comparison shots right before you switch to flower to show how much healthier the clones have gotten since you acquired them. Just going back to the start and comparing them now, they look like completely different plants

Wow...your right! I just went back and looked at the clones...what crappy clones I got!!! lol, I guess I will have to seek another clone supplier after seeing that or take my own now that there healthy and re-run them Really appreciate your compliments and for taking part in my grow

Whats up Sour...yea sorry I took most of the video's down...got a new computer and was going to make better ones but lost all the video footage from previous grows... should be more video's in the near future.. As far as your soil...there are lots of ways to improve the soil health, best way's are soil re-mineralization...see my previous posts, as well as brewing compost tea's. This is probably the 2 best things I can suggest for soil. Along with adding Mycorrizae.

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone!!!

Today is day 43 of Veg and the ladies are looking really good. I spotted some leaves yesterday on my platinum bubba that seemed to have some white spots on them. I looked closely at the leaves with my 30x and I couldn't tell if it was residue from my foliar spray, or PM, so to be safe I removed any leave's that I saw this powdery white material on. I also followed up with another PM preventive/removing spray of R/O water, neem oil, baking soda, potassium silicate. I hope that this helps because if it keeps appearing I think I will have to purchase some SNS... The RH lately has been just below 50% so I am hoping this is helping fend off the PM. It hasn't really seemed to mess with my other strains though, just the platinum bubba's...?? I wonder if it is just more suseptable to PM than the other strains...

Yesterday I also picked up some of the pots and they are feeling pretty light, so I figure they will definitely need a feeding within the next 2 days. I started my 1st Earthjuice full line feeding on bubble and will wait until the ph comes up to around 6.4 before feeding...(earthjuice usually is low at 4.9ph when freshly mixed) way too low for the roots and microlife...

I kept the amounts of EJ low, because I don't want to throw off my soil balance with the High Brix in mind, but most of the organic materials that EJ uses are not immediately available anyways, so I wanted to induce them now for slow breakdown.

I mixed up 4.5 gallons of 0ppm R/O D/I water...

EJ grow... 40ml (1/4 rec strength) 2-1-1
EJ bloom... 20ml (full strength) 0-3-1
EJ Catalyst.. 20ml (full strength)
EJ Micro... (20ml Half strength)
EJ MetaK (10ml Half strength) 0-0-5

20 ML of AN liquid carboload (sugars)
40ml of AN Organic B (b vitamins, brewers yeast extract)
40ml of General Organics cal/mag (5:1 cal/mag) fermented with cane sugar and molasses
1TBSP Molasses

This feeding should introduce a bunch of new microlife being that already after 12 hrs of bubbling, there is a very healthy looking froth to my EJ tea. I will also be adding fish hydroslate 2-4-1 right before feeding, but I can't stand the smell so it will go in very last...

Other than that the girls are growing at a pretty fast rate and I will be bumping up the HPS by 1 hour today as well, giving them a total of 7.5 hours of dual spectrum, high intensity lighting. as well as adding more red to the spectrum to hopefully indicate to the plants the changing summer light spectrums..
