It got a bad rep for being cheap and a bunch of English yobs going there for stag parties. They bumped all the prices and got rid of a lot of those types

I love those pointy spears. Obviously it’s supposed to grow that way. Looks so cool. Have you ever tried back building? It’s super easy and those spears would be good candidates for it. Basically it’s a simple as topping the bud. Flattening the top by maybe 1/4-1/2”. In theory the buds get signaled to grow wide just like in veg. You might consider trying it on just one cola so you had a comparison and could see if it works? A lot of us do it. It’s a thing man. Lol.

Hey @Azimuth - I would argue to the contrary. I believe it does add mass and weight, depending on the strain and your timing. I learned the technique from @Emilya Green, and per her, you are supposed to do it in flower week five. When I first tried it, on a few Dos Si Dos colas on a soil plant a while ago, I was very surprised with the results. I take about half an inch off. It’s too late on the Strawberry Gorilla, but had I thought of it, I probably could have snipped all the foxtailly tips off the buds and made them fatter. I don’t do it every time, I kind of go by a feeling, lol. But it works on DSD, I can attest to that.

Thanks @Jon, I've started using a magnifying glass in front of the camera any tips on Remo nutries? Otherwise, I'm at the beginning of the seventh week, so I'll see if I try it when you write during the fifth week of the flower

See I thought about it and gamed it like Azi says (I’m a fan, or not! Depends who’s doing it ) a bit of plant stress.

I think you might get more uniform buds for “bag appeal” but then never seen a commercial op doing it in the videos I watched. So doubt it gives extra weight.

But if you’re gonna do it:

I don’t do it every time, I kind of go by a feeling, lol.

Probably do it by skin and eyes, eh, Shed?

What’s the market looking like on that?

But yeah seriously I can see them looking better I can’t see a way they make more weight.

Ah! I did get it right. I put it in my journal. But here it is with a quick cut and paste:

Hey @Kanno26 - if you were actually asking about Remo nutes, I can share a few observations.

- Everyone seems to agree they are hot in flower. There is a point in the feed chart when things go from 8ml to 10ml. Remo’s suggestion if you think the plant is maxed is to stay with the 8s the whole time. When you get into it you’ll see what I mean.
- It is very important to discontinue their MagNifiCal (the calmag ingredient) when they say to. Otherwise it’s burn city.
- Not sure in soil, but in coco I feel it’s necessary to begin week one a little early. I go to it as soon as the first set of true leaves is out.
- It’s not the cheapest nute system on earth. If you go this way, I suggest going through the site and using the code to get our discount. Remo is a great sponsor - very responsive - and gets the nutes out quickly.

That’s all I feel confident to share at this point. Anything else and I’m a bit into conjecture.

Yeah I was going to try on the last Solo Cup grow but then ended up stuck in Cambodia. My Canuk seeds ever turn up I’ll give it whirl. In solos they seem to end up more consistently sized so easier to compare.

Hello all growers, so I'm back before the end of the seventh week Hulkberry and @ViparSpectra XS1500 PRO and Paradox and KS5000 everything works at 100% and the girls reward me with sweet smoke to start with they show you my notebook where I write down all the steps I do on the plants and how I feed them...

Otherwise we start HULKBERRY. Which is starting to turn into autumn colors and looks amazing, today it received 6 liters of watering that had EC 2.3 in the ground and I will refill the reservoir only on Sunday...

PARADOX continues with more posts, I can't fit more than ten photos in one post.

So now the 4 PARADOX girls. Today they each received 5 liters of watering with EC 2.3 and they still have about two weeks of flowering ahead of them, we'll see how they do. Well, this is what it looks like there. I'll start with the undercarriage, which I managed to clean from all the junk
