Todays images.. I’m gonna flip everyone to flower in about 2 weeks, maybe less

So everyone is going to flip flower in about one week. Originally I was going to uppot to a 5 gallon before flower but my wet dry cycle in the 3 gallon is still at a week minimum so no need, plus it’s a smart pot. It’s already been vegging since late July so may as well pull the trigger.

I have 4 plants that just left seedling within the last week. I believe there’s one male but they’re still young for sexing. They’ll each be in 1 gallons for the flip.. I want to see the difference between a longer veg and a shorter veg in my room.

This will give me a decent harvest and allow me the breathing room to be able to really dial in my grow without being bogged down by these absurd dispensary prices.

Here are the seedlings.. placed in a glass of tap water mixed with rhizotonic for 12 hours in the dark and warm, then planted in CoM seedling starter mix. They were born on 26/27 Aug. One has gone into a one gallon and the other 3 are being prepped... what’s interesting is they’re also showing deficiencies but im using ph perfect micro, grow, bloom, on them and they’re still showing deficient.. possibly even light burn even though they’re almost 6 feet from the light lol.. had some slight canoeing going on

I have a feeling these will improve with a dose of epsom as well. 6 feet is far for light burn. Otherwise nice and strong!

Todays images.

I’ve removed the LST from the large female. All but 2 colas have straightened up and are growing strong.. the other 2 lean slightly. I’ll be removing the shorter bamboo and replacing with 4 foot pieces around the plant to act as security points for the colas as they flower. I have twine, 550 cord (parachute cord) and rubber ties as needed.
The smaller plants are growing in much darker and fuller looking.. the tips are still pale sort of, so I’m just slightly off, we’ll see if my corrections worked. I was gonna run 1 gallons but I think I may say eff it and throw them in 2s.. the solo cup will transfer nicely.. we’ll see, maybe mix it up.

The 550 will absorb moisture making a haven for mould, especially if it's in contact with the stems. It could also be just abrasive enough to wear through the surface.
I use rubber coated gardening wire from the dollar store, both indoor and out.

I didn’t even think about the moisture aspect because yeah, it likes to mold out really quickly once it’s wet.. I usually just toss it if it gets damp

I’ve come to prefer the rubber coated wiring over everything else.. I want to see if I can find it in a smaller gauge for more delicate operations.

Todays images. I believe the drooping is lack of water. My water meter shows 1.8-2.1 halfway down and below so there’s still moisture in there, perhaps not enough. She’s also throwing off a light scent. Last watering took 7 days to dry.. this is 6 days after the most recent watering, lines up about right for growth.

I believe the mag deficiency got worse and the image of the leaf shows why I think that. I gave a foliar spray of epsom salt and dechlorinated water 1T:1G last night and will be adding calmag to this coming watering. I have stems on new growth showing purple which could be due to temperature at night (65-68) or I think it may be part of my calmag deficiency. We’ll find out lol.

Trying to wrap up this calmag deficiency before I flip flower.

The colors seem to not show the same on my phone and posted. The leaf images should be more yellow and showing more yellowing on the leaf but I don’t see it.

I've found two. The dollar store is hit or miss on which they have.

These are both on bamboo skewers. I do prefer the thinner wire.
Yep I’ve got the one on the right.. the one on the left is perfect for the early growth stuff.. I’ll have to swing by and check it out.. we’ve got a few different stores so hopefully one will have it lol.

Hey mate :circle-of-love: as you said she definitely needs some calmag and the purple and fading should hopefully stop, the effected leaves won't fully recover but the new growth should look better and should spead up a bit. What cal mag are you using? Much love :green_heart:

Hey G,

I’ve got sensi calmag xtra by advanced nutrients. I was reading more about the Coast of Maine Stonington blend and they advertise heavily towards autos and a lot of their schedule is based on autos.. so I’m thinking that using a photo plant and pushing it may be a bit more than the soil was meant for out of the bag. It could’ve probably stood to be amended a bit.. lessons learned though which is what’s important.

Hey mate :ciao: I would use that in your next watering at the instructed 2ml per litre, I think all you babies could do with it. Then I would wait at least a week to see how they look before the flip. I hope you are well much love :circle-of-love: :passitleft:

Watered this morning. She took a gallon.. had 7.5 ml of calmag xtra.. also top dressed with ewc and a tsp of OG plant food mixed with a bit of starter soil for the extra mycorrhiza boost in the final week of veg.

Anecdotally I have noticed the run off of my soil tends to show an optimal ph for whatever nutrient it’s currently desiring which seems fascinating to me. I imagine a slurry test would reinforce this. I’m making a note to check on this further.

2 hours after watering still showing a claw/droop.. either was very, very dry which is possible, it was 7 days since last water of less than a gallon, or possibly K issue which will be remedied by the OG plant food. It’s not wind or light burn, not turgid or dark enough to be nitrogen.

The mag deficiency was getting pretty bad and was starting to show calcium deficient as well so it’s also possible she’ll just take some time to get back right

Hi Kefka, personally I think 7 days is a little too long. The top roots may die off and if it's an organic grow microbes too. Consider 4 days max. If the pots are too wet, try just enough to wet the top couple inches of soil and let them work on the rest maybe.
7 days was definitely too long.. here’s how they look this morning.. I moved them closer to the lights.. however, I do wonder if that slight canoeing is light stress or if I’m just seeing things?

I pushed the plant to 7 days this time because I had those fungus gnats.. I wanted to make sure I dried them out fully.. I also need to learn to read my water meter better because it was still showing 1 and 2 moisture while needing water

I am thinking the canoeing is light stress because the more I look the more I only see it on the canopy but it’s been so long since I saw them happy I can’t remember how they looked lol
