I only use it for entertainment. Game time, opening day for baseball ️ is fast approaching. Movie time, etc. But for the most part I don’t think about time. CL

I don't either, other than for work, it's just the the Sun sets the pace, sorta say.

All right! Got home from work took some pictures. Our lovely genetic specimens are doing well, and seem to be enjoying the heat they're getting now. I'm going to try to do this in order of jars 1 2 3 and pe6. The white color on the outside of the jars is calcium from the tap water drying on it when I pressure cooked the jars.

TIme for an update. Been busy all week, and haven't had a lot of free time. The other morning (Wednesday, I think) I breaked and shaked all jars before I went to work, because they were showing really good progress. As of now, I have to cull one fo the jars, because of green/blueish contam. This is why I wanted two of each jar. I've completely forgotten about the agar plate #4 lol. I will go check on it in a bit. Cheers y'all

I have so far avoided the "green demon" in any of the jars. My fingers are crossed.
I agree, better to have a few with one or two to discard if needed, than have only a couple and the whole grow gets stopped in it's tracks.

I'll probably flush it, though I don't suppose it would harm nature if I stick it in the woods.

I've been throwing mine into the woods. I want to see what comes of it during warmer weather.

Hey y'all, sorry I ain't been on. Things are still going well here, just had a lot on my plate. After the shake, green is still going strong. No more contam yet, knock on wood. Pictures after work. This weekend I think I'm going to cook up a bunch of coco coir, get some bins ready too.

G' morning! No worries, we all get into those busy modes. I just mixed some of my Purple Mystic into the substrate yesterday. Can't wait to see a different strain growing in that tent.

Grain jars still doing their thing. Holding off on readying coir,as I seem to be jumping the gun on thinking any of these are fully colonized. If I pick the jars up, the column of grain in the center seems just....yellow. it's like I do a shake and then all the colonization goes to the outside of the jar LOL.

I'm going to try to get back to being on here more often but I got a lot going on in my life right now so I'll read and post when I can.

Number four seems so slow compared to the others. Receipt in the background is from a book I just got at a thrift store. Been reading a lot lately. Eat a couple gummies, put on some classical music, and pick up a nice heavy book.

PE to me have always seemed a little slower sometimes but well worth it in potency!! Happy Monday. I liked your trip report.

If you put a little vinegar in the water when you pc it will help stop the buildup of white crap on the outside. Or if the jars are empty use clr on it and it'll take it right off!!

Another update: I think my other jar of number one is not good. Just did a shake on it it was slow anyway so it didn't need a shake but I did anyhow and it's nasty looking. So, jars number one both contaminated, well, one for sure contam and the second one probably.

The two jars and three jars are still doing okay, and the jar of pe6 is doing good too. Also, I'm sharing the heat mat with some starter cups in which I'm trying to grow some Carolina reapers and black krim tomatoes.

I see you are pushing along on the shrooms also. My Pan Cyan does not look so well with some gray mold growing under the mycelium. I may pitch it in the next couple days.

My third dunk of my JMF has been producing some nice size (my largest) mushrooms with daily mist.

Things have been interesting. I'm in the beginning of a career change trying to get working again.
My old cake from my other shroom journal is still throwing a couple tiny ones here and there, and I suspect it will be done soon, but thankfully I have not gotten contam yet. I'm still bummed about the two jars of #1, but looking forward to getting the other two pairs into substrate, and getting my sponsor grow started.
Glad to hear you got big jmf's. Mine didn't go as planned, but I got a bunch of small ones.
