I'm a true dark aquarian. An air sign represented by water. Water is soothing, but to be in the air is invigorating. To fall through the air feels as though one is flying; a very uplifting experience for me. Not to mention the adrenaline rush, followed by the endorphins later. An all around good feeling, love of life, and an awareness of the awesomeness and of all around me. I don't mean awesomeness, as in "That's really cool", I mean awesomeness as in, "That's really LARGE, and I am so small when compared to it."

For me, to fall from a plane and to touch down on the face of the earth, is like a child jumping safely into his mother's loving arms. That child knows that mommy will always be there for him. All he needs do is love, and he will receive the same. She will give and give until it hurts sometimes and it is up the the child to know when to quit demanding more and to see that The Mother is getting stressed. That is when the child goes and hugs her, kisses her sweetly on the cheek, and whispers in her ear, "I love you, Mommy."

Are you sure you landed safely?!! The endorphine high sounds great though!! Seriously, that is a good way to look at it. Because I would look jumping out of a plane as almost certain death. I went hang gliding with my older son. He loved it. I was so nervous my whole body was stiff as a board. Maybe it was because the instructor was in control and not me but when we landed I felt like I never want to leave Mother Earth again!! Except when in the confines of an airplane.

OMM - Thought I'd better say hello today. I've been dealing with more issues on the custody thing. We got the District Court here to drop all charges of contempt and they are transferring it to Tribal court. Now just have to get a statement ready for emergency custody and a hearing on why her rights should be greatly diminished. Should have everything wrapped up by the end of July. My grandson deserves a better life then being exposed to hard drug felon's, domestic abuse from his mother, assault and battery of a police officer and family such as brothers that have even worse crimes. Hes only 4 but if he could talk properly, Im sure no judge will send him back to that life.

I havent been feeling well this past few days. I have to go back to get 3 more hernia's fixed, another 6 months no lifting. My Berry Bomb's are turning amber and am hoping to harvest in a couple of weeks before i have surgery again.

Seagem You sure help folks.....I think you are wonderful helping your son and others with things that would make many lives better. You know how I feel about getting that baby to a safe place with your son. I don't pray, but I am sending good vibes your way.

So your a thrill seeker, Huh? Not me!

I think my fear of planes came long ago in Da Nang. I was on an old C123 hospital plane coming from Thailand.
When we landed to pick up wounded soldiers on stretchers. We were under fire the whole time. Bravest Nurses I ever saw. When we finally took off, there were cong waiting for us at the end of the runway. As we got airborne,
they riddled us. I got my purple heart that day, right through my side. A nurse looked at me and said to help her,
I turned around and all the guys on stretchers where blown to hell. I was a long bloody ride until we got to the Philippines.

I Swear to God on a Stack of Bibles!!! I will never, ever, bitch about riding in a commercial airplane again!! I have never been through that. That would have been a mentally taxing thing to go through. Too bad you had to go through that. That must have been a really helpless feeling. There is really no where to run or hide in a plane.

Wow acouple days go by and I'm way back. That Myko's also has a fertilizer charged microbe product called Myko's 30. I see they use bone and blood meal along with some feather meal and mined potash. 6-4-4. I did alittle researching on it and I don't think OC will matter much. Seems these microbes feed off the plants sugars. Or off molasses. I don't think they will mind your OC. I know they'll love a organic tea drench. Here's afew more pages to gander thru; Bulk Wholesale Mycorrhizal Fungi
They claim the stuff is great. I just bought the Myko's30 It's suppose to have enough food charge to last the veg cycle. I still feed with mine. I'm using thecnaflora and haven't seen any problems. Not that I could recognize one if it bit me. I usually amend mine soils with enough organic goodies to support these critters. Blood, Bone meal, worm and bat castings are acouple fretilizers alot of people forget about. Man they got some great quailties. Slower releases of their stored values over afew months. You can't fertilize burn with them either. But atad of them help the mycrorrhizae colonize your root sytems. 1 teaspoon per gollon of molasses feeds them too.
Got beat down Pop's. Miss J got beat up alot worse than me. But we had fun. To me that's all that matters. Say hello to Jo for me, and get some fresh pic's up for me to peek at............. Hey one seed of Mody Dick was kind of cracked, It did show the tap root starting to grow out, nut it wasn't white and vibriant, was yellow and sickly looking. I put it in some shifted soil to see it she'll pull thru. Seen alot like that and very few make it. I also got a seed of Bubbleious I been wanting to try and it had a visable chunk mising out of it. These seeds are easy to spot problems and should've been easy culls to pull. Alittle tighter quailty control. Oh well. Pop's keepem Green

Hey CF For me it wasn't too bad, no joke. Something did go through my side, felt very hot. I was just standing there looking at the blood on my hand and nurse looks at my waist and said your OK! Help me over here! So I spent the rest of the trip feeling for pulses and bandaging up people. The ones that were beyond help were left to the last.

Believe it or not, I visited every fire base in Nam. Fire fights, motor attacks, the whole deal and never got a scratch. Go figure?

Note: I was in the Air Force and was a design and construction draftsman. I thought I would never see battle at all. Wrong.....I went everywhere designing out houses and tent frame buildings. I did help with the design of the runway I got winged on!

Now your talking CF ! There is just something about telling stories that just feels good to us. I'm sure many people want to write their life's story, but they don't think they are good enough, when actually the telling is what matters. If other people can feel it...who cares how you write it.

I was bored, so cloned a popcorn bud branch, veged it two weeks then back to flower. It might almost be worth the trouble, bud growth is much more vigorous than even the main cola of the donor plant ever was and the buds will be huge if they plump up.

Hmm, then you must not have gotten the last email I sent you, sometimes I just hate yahoo. No, I haven't gotten to the courthouse yet to get the paperwork. But I will, I just want to try to do everything at once, and want to make sure I have the money to post it in the paper or whatever other fees I may have to pay. I probably will not be able to do it until August or September as I am trying to pay current bills off atm. Ah, a Capricorn sister!!!!! Which month is your bday in? I am 112. I don't know why flying doesn't bother me. I do tend to get a little jumpy during take off and landing but other than that, just love it.

WOW, you have 3 hernias to get taken care of? My bf has to have surgery on the 9th for his, he has 2 and on top of that has Chrones. It's going to be hard for him because he is the type that can never sit still so I will have to tie him to the bed so that he doesn't move. Have you had these surgeries before? How long does it normally take to heal? They are talking about putting something mesh over the hernia or something. Hope you feel better soon.

I know what you mean. I used to have the same problem with the air pots too. I just watered the pots really, really slow and that solved the problem.

My friend I hate to tell you this......if you don't really pack your soil in the Airpots, that is what happens. Been there, done that, too. In a case like that, what I do is water in the center of the pot very slowly.....a small amount at a time....let it sink in for a minute or two and then keep doing it until you have run off from the bottom of the pot.

Another way some people do it is to get a large container of water and lower your airpot into it. It will float for a minute or two then will slowly sink. When sinks, it is watered.

On the airpots thing... I recently realized (damn stoner thing) that I had some of them put together upside down. It makes a big difference, and the first difference is that they REALLY leak when they are upside down and you water them. Not so much when right side up. You need to make sure that the last row that doesn't have holes is on the top. The bottom row should have air holes, only the top row shouldn't

Not saying that anyone else has made this mistake, and you do still get some water leakage otherwise, but it's quite pronounced how bad the water leaks out the sides if they're upside down.

Also, to OMM's point, it's definitely important to have your soil or media (coco coir for me) packed into those little pockets tightly where the air holes are. Or, that will also contribute greatly to water leaking out as OMM stated.

Just wanted to chime in with the upside down thing, 'cuz I didn't even know there was an "upside down" at first!

As a couple of others mentioned, I have a blog. All I do, is navigate to my blog from my user profile, and then hit "+create new post". After that, it's kinda like creating a forum post. One thing to keep in mind... unlike a forum post, you'll want to enter a "title" for your post so that your blog post can be referenced easier by others once you create it. I would suggest maybe you break your stories into "chapters" and put the chapter number and/or title for the chapter as your blog title. If you number them, people will easily be able to read them in the correct order. I think this would be a good way to blog your story (numbering the chapters or entries).

Another way to add a blog post that you might consider:

If you wanted to post an addition to your story in your journal (I still favor seeing in your journal, too!) you can put it into your journal and then blog it too.

Right after you post it in your journal (or anytime after) you can click "blog this post" at the lower left of your "forum" post. It will take you to a blog post creation screen where your forum post will be quoted within your blog post. I usually edit my forum post slightly, such as the title, when I'm copying it as a "blog post" this way. I also remove the quotes so it looks more like a stand-alone blog post. Then, I just post it like a forum post, and voila!

So... each time you update a chunk of your story in your journal, right after "blog this post". Add your chapter title, and chapter number in the blog post title so that people can easily stay in the right order, and your golden 'til the next story update. This would be really easy way to blog your story I think...
