Stupidface's First Grow: White Widow Auto In Soil, LED, Advice Always Appreciated

Re: Stupidface's First Grow - White Widow Auto In Soil - LED - Advice Always Apprecia

Anyone familiar with nematodes? Read that they kill gnat larvae and I am so tired of the sticky traps getting stuck to me, each other or the plants that i immediately ordered some for my next grow. Hoping they do the job.

Day 66: Picture spam

Had to raise the lights a couple of inches because both plants were showing some light stress. Fed both plants tonight. A little disappointed none of my packages came in.

Day 68: New stuff

More stuff arrived to be ready for harvest. It will probably happen over the holidays so i want to avoid going anywhere close to a store during that time. Plants seem happy. Got water last night, nothing tonight. Not eating much so will probably start to ease off the nutes.

Grabbed a better ph pen as my other one was taking forever to take a reading. A 6" clip-on fan to make sure Jane is getting enough of a breeze. Mary tends to hog the oscillating fan. More boveda packs with more jars on the way. Hoping i'll need them. The metal thing is a hanger with clips that i will hang the colas from.

Today I got my bubble bags, although i probably wont use them until the second harvest. Nematodes to keep the gnats away on my next grow. Also a grinder and a mesh hanging drying basket. The grinder turned out to be tiny and drying basket huge. 2'x2'x4' i think.

Day 70: Exit strategy

Hello, hope you are all having a good weekend. Gave the girls a light feed last night and just water tonight. I'm thinking I'm going to give them just over two weeks and harvest them on the 1st or 2nd. I have four days off starting on the 1st so that would work out well for me. That would put them at 86 days i think. 4 weeks veg and 8 weeks flower pretty much. Plan to give them one last light feed this Monday, then just water as needed. Flush with one week left and using Flawless Finish. 48 hours of darkness before chop. We'll see how it works out.

Wow man its shots like these that make me realize i picked my outdoor early every year cause right there in that picture i'd call ready. I never really knew about the trichome stuff cloudy clear and amber and how it related to ripeness. I always just went with 80-90% red hairs and to me those would've been picked lol. Good thing we have this forum to teach us the proper ways, they look amazing.

Try:

VectoBac - Water-Dispersible Granules

Used off label for fungus gnats as a drench.

Yeah the tops look done but when i look at trichs i'm only really seeing amber on sugar leaves. Lower buds are still popping out white pistils and i'm not getting dead leaves like i expected. Things will change quickly when i stop feeding i guess. Definitely have an urge to just chop em down and do the mephistos properly.

Thanks, I'll take a look.

Was having trouble finding perlite locally because all the gardening sections have been replaced with Christmas toys so i decided just to order online in bulk. Sometimes i get carried away i think. (5 gal bucket for scale)
