Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

What a work! :green_heart:
Thanks so much, Stone!

she's looking a bit different now....

This is how I'd like to remember her...
1.jpg

Out of the box!
There's still a string around her holding the branches up...
So, I had to put her on a dolly to move her the 12 feet to the trimming area.
Then, I removed the string, and all I can say is...
She's out.jpg

...well, there goes the canopy... 😁
well there goes the canopy....jpg

Yep, she's a flopper...The box apparently acted like a big 'ol cardboard tomato cage...
flopper.jpg

Anyhow, I only broke one little bud off getting her out of the box...the bud next to it is one of the few buds that aren't laying on the floor...🤪
oops-.jpg

So I'm going to get back to it- she's going to take a minute to trim...

Thanks for looking!

It may be tomorrow when I get back with the rest of the harvest stuff..there's a bit more to her than I thought..
Hope to see you then!

A flop for the ages, Carcass!

Every branch weighed down by primo buddage!

(Do you always have to steal the show?!) 😁

have fun any quick dry testers ?

Time for a little follow-up to yesterday's harvest post...

Time to put the "vacancy" sign up, I guess...
a1.jpg

After all she's been through, her leaves are still green. ....both of 'em...🤪
2 leaves.jpg

Now that's a pan full...
5 pile o pot.jpg

Only found a tiny bit more rot.
4 rot.jpg

A number of hours later:
6 -pans o pot.jpg

I forgot to get a pic of her on the scale, but she weighs in at 3.7 lbs wet (1660g)
7- pans o pot.jpg

Into the odorless drying box she goes...this is about half of her..
8-half full.jpg

And, all of her..
I run the exhaust blower for 24 hrs. straight the first day, then I switch the timer to 5 hours off, half hour on, and it stays that way till she's dry- the longer it takes, the better...

The target is for it to take ten days, but it's usually dry in 7 or 8 ...with the cool weather we're having (45f night/55f day) it may actually take 10 days this time..🕰️
10-drying 2.jpg

Finally, a bud..
I may not have mentioned it before, but she smells like sweaty armpit.....yummmm:)
3 frosty.jpg

And there you have it!

@Barney's Farm Blue Gelato 41(from the Australian seed fairy:love:)
28" tall
142 days old
129 days in her SIP
Flipped 88 days ago
Flowering 75 days

Thanks for looking,
I really appreciate your support!

I'll post up a final weight once she's down to 62%rh or so..

The quotes!
I'm sure there's a trail of trichomes along that 12 foot path!
Ha! There probably is- she was about a foot wider than that path...

Omg that shot of her falling apart.
Ha! I knew she was going to flop, I just didn't know how much...🤔
A flop for the ages, Carcass!
Thanks, GDB - This is my first real "flopper" 😁

(Do you always have to steal the show?!) 😁
I knew she was going to flop some, but I didn't think it would be as extreme as it was..

have fun any quick dry testers ?
I had a few last week, got pretty damn baked..I'm gonna like this stuff, I think...:lot-o-toke:

Nice job Carcass!
Thank You, Stunger- easiest plant ever to grow, too..

“She was rode hard and put away wet”.
Thanks, Nev! Great to see you out and about!
She really was looking a little rough by the end..

Like letting the air out of her! Did she trombone whistle down when you cut the string? :p
Ha! That's a great analogy, Stone- she did look a bit "deflated" by the end..😀🎈

Very nicely done! They look as good in the trays and upside down as they did on the plant, where there is another half ounce of larf still to be plucked. :)

With the rot you found on two flowers, any consideration to leaving the fan on a little longer this time? I tend to want to dry my buds out a bit faster on the front end of the hang when there's a fungus among us.

Tell Kilroy I said :ciao:

Beautiful work Carcass, I am really pleased that you got such a good looking result.
Thank You, Stunger! I'm pretty happy with the way she's turning out...

And that's left after I already trimmed a couple ounces...

I hadn't thought about that, but it's a good idea- I'll do that- leave the exhaust on for a couple more days- as cold as it is, I'm sure she'll still take at least a week to dry...

You should of seen me wrestling her out of the box- Mrs.C. commented that I resembled a monkey trying to fuck a football...she's such a charmer....🥰

Ha! It wasn't that bad, T!
It's going to be different this time, you're way better at this now than you were then..👍
