Now someone mentioned this might be to much N? and my other thought is it is as simple as the SNS spray not being quite all off when i put them back under the HPS. My first thought would be the prior though. Yesterday and today I am flushing the hempies with just PHd water and some clearex. Then going to adjust down the Grow and Micro portion of the mix and add more bloom...Currently been feeding 10/10/15/5 of BPN, thinking of adjusting it down to 7.5/7.5/20/5 of Grow/Micro/Bloom/Blue....any other thoughts of possibilites what this might be? I wont lie I am pretty terrible at diagnosing issues.

You know what you are right, when i had this issues last time there was mad leaf cupping. Prolly just standing water/oil from the spray ill have to let them set a bit longer before putting them back under next time...meh its been over three weeks and i havent flushed them at all yet, so im guessing they will welcome that :D

another fun update.....here are my three testers 1 Liter Deep Water Culture Hempies!!...they will be full later. I am thinking this might be really good under LEDs since the heat is much less, and just gotta try and keep things kool, thinking of maybe putting some of those frozen packets you use in lunch boxes around the bottles, but that might create a lot more moisture and perpetuate mold. I think ill just toss these in my tent under the HPS and take out my Co2 2liter....having to have the tent open most of the time kinda kills the CO2 even though i have it going into fan right on the plants....well see what i figure out kinda stoked to test though. I am not going to paint these bottles yet because i really want to see the root development. Maybe ill cover up all but one side though....due for an update on the girls soon i know, i think ill wait til wed though.(wont be here tomorrow and they are getting skipped a feeding.

looks like the test is about to begin, isnt their a way you could use some 12v computer fans and have them blowing on all the res the moving air should reduce heat build up,

ok they are in will include a little pic soon, still not sure what im going to do with these 1LDWCHs yet. I could replace my Co2Liter set up for the three bottles under the HPS, but I do have some temp issues(not bad, but perhaps enough to be bad for this) in there so may not be the wisest. my I could just put them under my t5, but that room really isnt ready and it would seem a waste to turn on that powerhouse for just 3 plants...I think i might just leave them under the LEDs and not worry about flowering them for a week just to see the growth, but then again oohhh grrrrr i hate this LOL. Ill figure something out and put a pic up soon.

On sad news, I no longer have Blue Dreams or Harliquin(this one was the real sadness for me). Had some issues and they got really sick went to clone them to save them and re-establish moms, they just didnt survive....however with an end comes a new beginning. Tomorrow I pick up some Pre 98' Bubba, Pre 2000 White Widow, and XXX OG clones to make mothers. For me I am super stoked about this...esp if the White Widow really is a pre 2000. I dunno, the white widow i see out today just isnt the same as that late 90s stuff that would make my spine numb.....then again i could be getting bag seed ha ha, i doubt it though talked with the grower for about an hour and he was explaining the genetics of each and growth patterns. And from what I do know of white widow he described it to a T, other strains are out of my knowledge other than i know they are popular.

Man I really wish 1 of the Harlequins would have survived.....it was honestly one of the best smokes I have ever had.

Here we is on Flowering Day 29 for Puple Widow!...41 days left before harvest! They are right now being fed 7.5/7.5/17.5/5 Grow/Micro/Bloom/Blue of BPN elite 3 part series. I think ill up the Grow again on Monday since it seems they are handling fine look something like 10/7.5/20/5 for weeks 5 and 6 then im thinking ill go for a 10/5/25/10.....I wish I had my PPM meter :( It was being a bitch and not resetting so i got angry and threw it at a wall....and now for the Porn!

I couldn't give enough thanks to be considered near the caliber that 420fied is, his journals are the reason i started doing it lol. As a matter just a few days ago was a year since i got my very first couple clones!

I saw they were cheap as hell(3 for 30) and figured meh ill put them in a couple of pots on my patio and just see what happens, hopefully the don't die! LOL. Little did i expect to be gifted a grow bible and then stumble across this place....and well here we are now! I have never grown a damn thing in my life up til a year ago, and now I think im pretty decent at it!

lol those fiji bottles look like some fun!

i dont know if you have made wholes into the top half yet... but if u haven't i recommend NOT doing that.. those roots will become air pruned before given the opportunity to hit the reservoir resulting in stunt growth of roots leading to stunting overall growth and yield on the plant.


to be honest its best to make a big ass whole on the cap and let them all run thru there! so much more efficient!

and that plant looks healthy those are burn/bleaches from light.. could have been water/oils left on the plant.. or the light is too close to that plant in particular but def overall is fine!

i used compost in my 2ltr dwc hempie and just left the lid off, i also poked holes but the longest roots and the ones that go in the liquid are the ones that go through where the lid was, the roots coming out the other holes dont reach the liquid but just seem to get so long and slowly die off but keep growing and stay at the same length, but is this a good thing or not, does it prevent the top part becoming root bound as it allows the roots to continue growing and renewing

Well shit, i was wondering why my damn roots weren't moving down! Curious should the hempy hole be above the bottom of the cap position wise? Mine aren't and im not getting any roots to get into the res.(i sliced small holes and a large one through the cap) Typically my clones roots are not big enough where i could drop them through the hole in the cap and have the roots sit directly into the res from get go. Would that be recommended or not?

yes, i would put the whole a little bit off the lid and have a nice big whole where pretty much all the roots go thru and immediately touch the reservoir and if you put the whole higher they could drink more and be sure to grow out the top half.. just dont put it too high because you can create a flood leading to all sorts of root problems! id say 1/8' inch above the cap is a good position for the hempy whole
