1st Journal 32 2L Hempy - 420Fied Style

Alrighty then! Been a little longer than i had hoped for a new update but at last here we are! Day 51, because things just didnt seem to be bulking up much(or at least I wasnt seeing a cola form) I decided to give the plants a little flush with some clearex and phd water for 2 days, and today I gave them a 10/7.5/20/12.5 per gallon of some BPN goodness......and now for the bud porn.

looking damn nice mate, im hoping one day ill end up with something half as nice as that, but the way things are looking im gona struglle to get anything, somethings just not right with my grow, i know im using cfls but ive seen plenty of good results, im mixing the light spectrums up a bit as i was only using 6500kelvin cfls and these reduce stretch, but i was getting very little height, plants where bushing out but after 6 weeks ive got plants that are 7inches high, maybe im concerned over nothing, perhaps cuz i see them every day i dont notice much change, i keep asking myself are my lights to low, am i using the rite nutes, what lighting schedule to go with, etc etc, i was on 24-0, but since ive changed to gas lantern routine as its meant to be the best, but after 3 days i just dont see it, i had a lot more leaf growth under 24-0, i think because the plants had constant light they packed on the leaves to keep taking in all the light, but now im only giving them 13 hours of light and only 12hours of constant light i am questioning my choice, but ill stick with it, ive got bpn products been held by delivery company in my country, i think i gota pay some charges for customs been nosey and checking what the package was, but im lucky im in the UK and was gifted the bpn products and the shipping by a member on here and bpn chipped in as well so i cant wait to get my hands on the products, maybe its what my plants need

Much mahalo for the compliments! I used CFLS for a while and they can work quite nicely. When i use them i use the 40X(200W equiv.) 6500ks and the 68W(300 equiv) 2700k. The trick with them is you gotta keep them withing 1-2 inches of the plants and if you are not seeing growth just bring them a little further away, make the plants stretch for the lights a little. How many plants and how many CFLS are you using? What watts?. Personally i use 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering, they are the staples, and i wouldn't toy around with he light to much. You want to create a stable and constant environment for the plants. I am unfamiliar with gas lantern, so I don't know what to say on that. My best tips....Mix the bulbs up like you are, keep them a few inches at away from the plants, keep good air flow and use good soil or soiless medium. If your using tap water, let it sit out for a day before using it, and add those lovely BPN nutes when you get your hands on them....they have what plants crave! i hope i get plants looking half as good as them, it would put a smile on my face,

could i ask if you know much about these dual spectrum hps lights, it says they work brilliant for both veg and flower as the bulb contains and extra filament that gives the light the blue light needed for veg, im possibly thinking bout getting one to either speed this grow up by adding it to my cfls or use it totally on my next grow

Sadly I am not the person to tell you much about them. If im correct though its a Ceramic Metal Halide that is like a cross of the MH and HPS. I have seen that recommended a lot when people are asking about just 1 light for all. Don't Veg at all with the exception of mothers under some CFLS lol. Hopefully that will help put you in a right search direction, or if anyone else reading feels like chiming in!
 
Ok, so i cut some clones last night and was going to rev up a new journal, however I think i have to hold off....see my aero cloner got turned off for 6 hours last night.....the plants are all still standing and appear fine. I am just wondering, are they likely to still root? Or should i just scrap and re-cut. I just would hate to be in the situation 7-10 days from now and no roots, and a week wasted....grr but i don't wanna cut again lol. Anyways just seeing if anyone has had experience with something like this, or is 100% sure on they wont root for shit lol. Picture update coming soon.
 
Hokay so! Here we are on day 55----now in THEORY this plant should be done tomorrow. however I am going to take it further. I plant on giving it nutes up through Friday. Sat through Monday I will flush out with Clearex and PHD water, giving double amount of water to ensure things get nice and cleansed. Monday night from lights out til Wed morning(36 hours of dark) And a week from today, chop chop chop! Unless anyone else has some input let me know, because I could be totally off base. Anywho....BUD PORN!

looking damn nice, im turning mine to flower in next couple of days and cant wait to get to the stage your at, and if i can get mine half as good as yours ill be very happy indeed
 
Anyone able to give tips about caring for a mother...Basically I am planning on having 4 moms each of a different strain. The moms I have now are just unruly and wild, i dont really have much knowledge on trimming them and keeping them purdy. I know how to TOP and FIM....well sorta. When ever i have topped a mom i literally just cut a chunk of her stalk off....yea im a noob and don't want crazy mothers no more this 4.5ft by 3ft wide one i have now for my PW is just nutty.

Each mother needs to be able to produce 40 clones at one time...and each one will have a 12 week recovery period...so based on that i need to figure out how big each mother should be as well. Just a couple thoughts I am trying to iron out for the new set up. Much mahalo!
