Glimmer Grows More Autos - Blue Dream - Amnesia & Dark Devil In Coco With MH/LEDs

Yes gg, I'm a little younger than that, but I do remember making my first set of brownies. Now I'm thinking of making some for the holidays. I just have to keep them separate from the rest of the family getting them! Only certain portion of my family knows I smoke in the first place but I can't wait for my brownie trip!!

You're going to enjoy it. Have fun. :laughtwo: And do keep them separate. :laughtwo:

When I think how I used to make edibles, I just shake my head, Camo. Back in the 1980 and 90s I just baked weed into the brownies -- literally. I guess they decarbed during the baking to a certain extent, and they definitely got us all buzzed, but everything has changed so much now. The strains are stronger, advanced canna baking techniques are freely available on the internet (I think the combination of decarb and lecithin made this batch so strong) -- it makes a stronger product.

Must be really hard to produce edibles with a measured, tested dose. Really, really hard.

I prefer my brownies with the full plant material in them. I have an unsubstantiated belief that ingesting the buds themselves is giving me access to medicinal values I wouldn't get from extracts. Someday this plant will be freed and we'll be able to study it. At that point I bet that theory gets proven.

You have to develop a taste for the produce though. I already had that, because I eat baked buds like candy. Yeah, I'm a bit of an outlier. :laughtwo:

Those RKTs are excellent. Have you posted on Canna's edibles thread? You're getting excellent results from your edibles. These were obviously strains well worth growing.

heh heh heh -- yeah, not nice to drop that on someone who isn't expecting it! Can't wait to hear how it goes -- when in doubt, go to bed and sleep it off :)

devil cream automatic
seedbank..sweet
£6.75 GBP

This is a 100% autoflowering hybrid resulting from the crossing of two purple strains, Black Cream and Dark Devil. This variety shows great vigour from germination. It grows with a typical indica-sativa hybrid structure with a strong stem, side branches and large leaves that form a dense central bud. Surrounding the central cola are multiple smaller buds on the side branches, also of good size and density. All the buds are covered in aromatic resin.

The aroma of this variety is sweet and fruity with hints of incense and citrus. Due to the inherited properties of the Dark Devil, some plants can reach over a meter tall in just two months from germination.

100% Autoflowering
Yield indoor: 350-600 g/m2
Yield outdoor: 40-175 g/plant
Indoor/outdoor harvest: 8 weeks from germination
Height: 70-120 cm

Northern Light Blue AUTO is the result of crossing a Northern Light auto and a Blueberry auto. Being a 3rd generation strain (a cross between 2 strains with autoflowering genes) makes this a highly evolved plant. This is mainly evident in its vegetative stage during which it develops much more vigorously and in the flowering stage, which is more abundant and better quality. The high growth potential of this generation of automatics can be appreciated throughout the life cycle. A medium-sized plant that can easily reach 70cm, it often grows up to a metre, and even more. It produces one large central bud and many other lateral ones. In northern latitudes it is a very attractive option for a summer crop while, in Mediterranean climes, two or three crops per season are very frequent. It has a subtle aroma of forest fruits (such as blueberries, strawberries and raspberries) with spicy notes. The taste is also very fruity with delicate earthy back notes. The effect of this strain is highly medicinal, ideal for alleviating chronic pain. A very pleasant sensation of well-being with moderate cerebral stimulation as well as a sedative effect ideal for long sessions of meditation and relaxation. Sex: Feminised Lineage: Northern Light Auto X Blueberry Auto Grow Method: Indoor/Outdoor Flowering Time Indoors: 55-60 Days Flowering Time Outdoors: Automatic (55-65 Days) Yield: 450-500G/m2 Indoor. More Than 80-90g/Plant Outdoor Taste: Sweet Fruity Smell: High Effect: Cerebral/Relaxing THC: 18% Resistence to Mould: High Resistence to Pests: High Medicinal Value: Very High ..

chem city blues auto.
seedbank.. Mephisto Genetics

Chem City Blues is a brand new cross created with two of the best varieties from Mephisto Genetics new family of elite auto-flowering strains. They took a chemdogging male (chemdog d cut x o.s.s auto) at the F2 stage of the non auto to auto process and hit a lovely Auto Blues lady (U.K blues cut x purple indica auto) . Both the photoperiod parents are known to be Extremely smelly varieties, and this carries through to their auto children! The strain is now at F5 and becoming ever more stable. She grows big and bushy, and responds really well to training. She makes long branches (chem influence) with lots of nodes (blues influence) , for the best yield we recommend removing the first two sets of branches, and about 14 days into flower removing any growth on the lower half of the branches, this will make her direct all the energy into producing some very fat, greasy, stinky colas. Her buds are medium density, not at all airy, but not like rocks, a lovely in between that helps to combat mould. There are also purple phenotypes to be found, the injection of colour from the purple indica auto parent. Chem City blues can surpass 90cm tall indoor and grows as a bush when allowed. She is very smelly, so be careful and use two baggies to contain the odour!. Potency is high and she will certainly kick your ass if you over indulge! Yield is heavy with the correct environment.

Genetics: Auto Blues x Chemdogging

Variety: Indica / Sativa

THC Content: High

Yield: High

Plant Height: 70-90 cm

Flowering Time: 70-75 days

happy growing every1

Oh, beast, those sound delicious! And beautiful! Can't wait to see them come along ...

Have some beans on the way right now! 5 Auto fem, Big Devil XL from Sweet Seeds

messed up my first grow with light burn but learned lots and very excited and optimistic about my second run !

Yay, Jah! That's what first grows are for, eh? I swear we learn more by screwing things up than we do by doing things (often accidentally) well :)

Hey GG will you come take a vote in my first grow on what I should grow and how many plants I should have in a 3x3x5'3 tent. You should be able to get to my grow from signature. I hope it's working! Thank you :) :) ;)

Done! Thanks for asking -- they're all super strains.

You're going to enjoy it. Have fun. :laughtwo: And do keep them separate. :laughtwo:

heh heh heh -- how is your vacation going?

Okay, it was a weird day here -- fine, nothing bad but just kind of suspended ...

So I'm about to top the girls. I'd love some advice about when and how far down to top them.

I have two plants with very tight nodes (the Amnesia XXL and the Blue Dream) -- the Dark Devil has quite long nodes. All three plants have their fifth nodes coming in.

Do I top them now down to the second or third node from the bottom? Is that right? Do I just take off the new node on the tighter plants and maybe two or three nodes on the more lanky Dark Devil?

If you're going to top the DDA I'd go down - from the picture it looks like three nodes - where those two little branches are taking off. Any lower and you'll probably stall it too much. That looks like the most natural spot to me. Mr. Am4zin has the most experience with topping them though, I believe, so if he doesn't comment here I'd go looking for him and get his advice.

The vacation's going well. During the week I'm here alone most of the day, which suits me fine. The house is spacious and comfortable and it's such a delight to make her life a little more loving. We keep hugging each other. I love this woman so much if I weren't heterosexual I'd have married her somewhere years ago. LOL!

She has a treadmill that was sitting unused, so I'm going to drop 10 pounds in 2 months. All I have to do is stay away from the never ending stream of baked goods she keeps producing. :laughtwo:

I stared at them for a while without reading the text of your posted thoughts, to make sure I wasn't influenced. I came to the same conclusion as you; newest node on the tight ones and three down on the Lanky girl.

This opinion is based on my now 42 days experience growing and my only experience with topping being a Durrr moment, so take it for what it is.

That said, you're the only one right there with them, I'd put good money on your instincts being dead on.

glimmer sorry late reply.resorting to the laptop again as the new screen for my phone lasted 3 days and stopped working.so replacement is on its way free of charge.should think so lol.your young ladies look great and perfect to be topped just cut off the top node on all the plants.and I guarantee they will all to into bushy monsters;)do show pics after u top.best of luck awsome job;)

Hey Glim. The girls are looking fantastic! Did you top yet or are you still waiting on some answers? If you haven't; I topped Baby Greens after the 3rd set of true leaves, I believe this allows for continual growth without a stall and it also allows for the stock to develop some. Good luck!
