I read something awhile ago about using the leaf trimming with trichomes, to make tea with honey or a little butter.
Has anyone here tried that yet?
I was thinking of saving all mine and curing/dry them and try the tea idea...

I was thinking of saving all mine and curing/dry them and try the tea idea...

Everything with trichomes on it can be used for edibles. If you're looking for a high from them, you would decarb and process the same way you would buds, but end up with a weaker product. Though infusing it in tea would make it weaker still, as it's the fat in oil and butter that really enables out bodies to use the THC.

If you're looking to add some THCa to your diet, then skip the decarb and just infuse them as is.

Everything is worth trying. If you have saved all your fans from thinning you can even make fan leaf infusions...you just need a lot of fans. Bags full!

I moved them all up to 4.5g/gallon today because the lowers are yellowing.

I'm in the same boat with my plant-I'm not going to know till I flip it,evidently...

It's going to be crazy if I have to put all five in 7 gallon pots (I'll need to make the 30 minute drive to Lowe's for more ProMix HP) and fire up the shed, just to throw two away in another week. But I'm supposed to be flipping in a month.

I got nothin. I'm seeing plenty of stipules, but nothing else other than what look like the starting of growth tips.

There's a spot on PSK2 that maybe looks like a tiny pollen sack? It's in the last PSK2 image:

But that could throw a pistil, too I guess.



Can't tell on the PSK1 if it's a growth tip leaf or a tiny, tiny calyx. I think it's a tip since it looks a bit far away from the stipule.

I read about a technique on GWE, the guy put the plants into flower for a week or so - long enough to start showing something. Then put them back into veg. I’m not sure if that’s something you’d want to try, but it might be easier than uppotting all of them, only to throw three out. Plus that looong drive to get more HP.

I'm not sure I want to flip and reveg because they only have another 30 days before they get flipped for real. I guess I could upcan them all and smoosh three in the tent and leave two in the office under the CFL's at night, and then rotate which is where. That's more schlepping than I intended and more than I promised my wife. Damn shy plants!

If I upcan them all, it will have to be done between bread-making activities.
