Yesterday these ladies got a new reservoir. They had went through 40G out of a 45G res so they were a little overdue. I emptied the res, flushed out the water chiller, and emptied out each bucket with the shop-vac. I fill with fresh well water with 3G boiled water to bring it up to 68f, then I add in the nutes and pH down. Here's Maria's roots as the system was refilling:

I must have the MC mix down because she's almost perfect pH & PPM this morning ;)

I haven't done anything inside the tent lately. I opened it up and gave them a really good look yesterday during the res change. There were a couple of lower leaves showing a slight K-def but I'm hoping the new res will take care of that. Otherwise these ladies are beautiful and flowering hard. The buds are continuing to lengthen from the top, and the buds go down at least 12". She's frosting up nicely and smells wonderful, very fruity with lots of lemon. Finishing up the fifth week of flower these ladies still have lots of bud to build!

I haven't opened this tent much lately. I found a small spider mite infestation in another tent this tent so these ladies will be in quarantine for a few days while I do some cleaning. No worries though, I don't really need to go into the tent. With highs in the low 80s and lows in the lows 70s these ladies and enjoying a nice stable environment. An average of 1.3 VPD gives them a great growing environment without too much moisture. I'll be stepping the RH down over the next couple of weeks, though, as the buds fatten up.

These ladies seemed stable when I left to go camping for the weekend. When I came back they were down to 4.8pH! That tells me that they're really munching on the P/K right now. I got the res up over 5.8 (with a sprinkle of BE) and they're still showing signs of feeding well.

While the tent looks lush and green there are a few leaf issues. Some of these look like leaves rubbing each other with the wind/fans, others may have been caused by the pH swing. Right now it's very minor and only on a few leaves so I'm just keeping an eye on it.

The buds continue to build and look fantastic. I still see mostly white stigma and the buds are getting bigger and fatter. The lowers look nice and green too. Everything is just cruising along in the @VIVOSUN Bud Factory under the VSFD6500.

These ladies are on cruise control now. I've been checking them daily to make sure the pH doesn't drop again, but it's staying right around 5.8. It looks like they'll be getting another res change next weekend.

There is a bit of deficiency showing on the leaves. It looks like some light yellowing/browning right on the leaf veins, mostly on the upper leaves. My best guess is Ca-def, which is the same thing my last auto (Violet) showed with this same feed.

For refresher, I'm feeding 5g MC + 1g MagNite + .33g BE, which gives me an NPK of 148-49-180 with 114Ca, 64Mg, & 51S. I wouldn't think I'd get Ca-Def at these numbers, but it is what it is. I bumped the res up with an additional .5MC to bump up everything, which now puts me at 160-54-198, 124Ca, 68Mg, 56S. We'll see how they do at this level. I'm thinking about going with just 6MC next feed, which is 142-48-186, 134Ca, 46Mg, 54s. Any other suggestions (Shed)?

Aside from a few leaf issues these ladies are doing great. They're still building up and packing on bud. At the end of their 7th week of flower they're still showing mostly white stigma, telling me that they still have a ways to go. That's OK, though, I'm in no rush and have all the time in the world. The @VIVOSUN VSFD6500 is still on an 11/3 schedule @ 100% giving everyone 40-45DLI, and the Smart Grow System is maintaining a 1.2-1.3 VPD. For all I care they can just stay where they are and keep bulking up in the @VIVOSUN Bud Factory.

They're looking so good it's a shame there's anything at all going on with the leaves. I've never run hydro but my goal has always been to keep Ca at 50% of K and Mg 50% of Ca.

According to the hydro charts, Calcium is best taken up above 6.0, so you might just be seeing the result of the major pH drop during the camping trip. I would stick to the original numbers rather than trying to bump everything up, and just monitor the pH to see if the spots spread.

Thanks Shed, I did think about that as well. I have the pH around 5.8 right now, but I'm going to take it up to 6.0-6.2 and try to keep it there for a while. I'll stick with the original blend and see how things play out.

Good morning Cool Hand :)

I was wondering yesterday actually. How many plants do you have in total?
Hi Trala. Right now I have four in this tent and two in the perpetual auto tent. I'm getting ready to start another mother soon for after this grow.

Good job.

Juggling a few plants and being able to make them all sing is hard work!
