Been a couple months since my last grow finished. It went to hell near the end after receiving word of cancer diagnosis for 2 people I know, and for my dog. (all within 4 days of each other) So my mind went elsewhere and sort of took focus away my grow. So now I’m back and hoping for better news going forward, but I’m still sorta prepping for the worse to happen too.

So I’m already about 14 days into the grow. My N. Lights you can see is a bit of a runt, but will still grow her out. Obi-Wan is looking more like Anakin with some crispy older looking leafs. So dimmed my lights like 5% from where they were and raised the light a couple inches too. Killer A5 Haze isn't growing how I was expecting, which I thought would be more like Golden Tiger. I guess I might have the northern light phono type for my A5. Golden Tiger is the star of the tent right now with strong explosive almost growth everyday. So that means I should hopefully be able to start her training this coming week.

outdoor season is slowly upon us and might wait to start my seeds (depending on 420 seed sales, and I got my eye on some strains) Anyways I will more then likely get them started in my tent in a few weeks for a mid May outdoor planting. When that happens, I will just add update on this thread for that grow as well. This year, all from seeds and more Indica dominate strains to handle the weird southern Ontario weather

I spotted your thread because of a post from @Tokin Roll and am interested in what you are doing with the GT. I am going to grow ACE's Panama on my 2nd run this summer and plan on growing GT next year. I already have the seeds as well as Panama Bangi Haze from ACE. Don't know when I'll grow them though. I grow hydro but it will be nice to watch two GT grows. Good luck.

Not sure if your talking about my plans or the OP, he's in soil so I guess it's me. I am starting the seeds in the diy tuperware and moving to the flood and drain when it's open. I will scrog them. I 'm going to flip a little quicker too. That will be new to me.

envious of your Ace seeds.....is the GT a 3rd version ? A5 killer is another goodn. I would order but the cost of extra charges for Canada are just stupid and they only except bank drafts from Canada....is there any seed houses that carry reliable new seeds from them in Canada?.......good luck

I passed on the 3rd version of GT seeds and ordered the other one. I couldn't get over the description of smell where it mentioned smelling of decayed meat. No thanks.

Thanks I had to double check on my Golden Tiger seeds and it isn’t the 3rd version, so original(?) I believe Canada wise you can get Ace Seeds from True North Seedbank, but little stock in right now. I bought my Ace Seeds from The Vault and still seem to have most seeds still in stock.

Since I’m here I might as well post some updated pics. Still haven’t started my training like I thought on my Golden Tiger, but next week for sure. Anakin. . . I mean my Obi-Wan is still looking sad and haven’t watered her in a few days but still a little weight in the bottom. Northern Lights still looking small but there has been a steady growth to her this week. then my Killer A5 is just slowly but steadily growing too. So hopefully my Ace Seeds will be topped next week and then training can finally begin.

From what ACE has written about its A5 is that it has about 5 different phenoms so it isn't a F1 and doesn't breed true to a single form. They describe the 5 form it takes on their web site. So if you plant one seed it probably won't be quite the same as another seed from the same batch is my take....

So today was Day 28 of veg and finally seeing improvements with Obi-Wan and my Northern Lights. I first removed a bunch of the burnt fan leaves on Anakin . . . I mean Obi-Wan. Then if you look at Northern Lights from pretty much a week ago, she is finally growing at a slightly steadier pace. Killer A5 Haze I thought would of been a bit more aggressive in her growing, but i should be able to top her in a few days. A couple of days ago I topped my Golden Tiger and am now attempting to clone her off on the side. So training has begun on some of her limbs on GT, with main 8 limbs that will be topped once for hopefully 16 chunky ass colas. This is also hopefully the plan for the other 3 plants as well when they get there. So hopefully 4 more weeks (5 tops) of veg and 12/12 can happen

Day 31 and I finally did it today. I finally topped the other 3 plants, did a little defoliation, some LST and will now attempt cloning the tops for friends. I might keep the Northern Lights if it takes for an outside attempted grow. So a few before and after pics from today with NL keeping most fan leaves for now.

Well everyone is recovering (Day 35) nicely after their topping and a little defoliation, but Obi-Wan still looking a little burnt but seems to look a tiny bit healthier. Look at what my runt has started to turn a lovely looking, although very bushy Northern Lights. So I plan to probably top each limb one time and let them grow from there with hopefully 16 fully loaded colas. So here are todays pics and can see how well they are coming along since last week.

So we’re on Day 39 of veg and everything is going steady, with Obi-Wan looking a little happier after their watering yesterday. . . and it is May the 4th. My little runt Northern Lights is starting to look impressive, but hold shit is she bushy. Killer A5 I thought would of had a little more vigorous growth like Golden Tiger, but I really think she is a NL phenotype as she looks like my NL. I want too top all my limbs but I keep getting called into work and too tired to do so when I get home.

So I made a seed order in hopes they would be here soon but no movement yet. So I went through my seed collection to see who to start for my outdoor grow. Some are repeats, some new or same strain but different breeder. So I have these following strains in a solo cup and have them sitting on top on my light board to act like a heating mat. So I believe I have most of the breeders correct for the strains

So we are at the end of week 6/day 42 and everyone is looking good. So 2 days ago before work I decided spruce everyone up by topping all my 8 main limbs for 16 big colas later. Some plants had some good inner nodes growing off them limbs and will let them grow and lollipop before the flowering flip happens in hopefully 2-3 weeks times. So pics from after topping/defoliation from a few days ago and from today for comparison. Oh and 4 of my 6 outdoor seeds appear to of popped but not surfaced yet.

So another week gone (Day 49) by and happy to report that all seems to be going well. My Obi-Wan is no longer looking like a burnt up Anakin anymore. The runt a northern Lights just seems to get even more impressive as she grows, but she’ll need to defoliated throughout the coming weeks to keep the multiple cola sites happy. Golden Tiger is the most consistent, nothing bad to really report but wish Killer A5 would stretch her limbs a bit more. I’m usually using Mega Crop by now but been purely water, and once every roughly 3rd watering with seaweed/fish shit extract. So if I get the stretch I want this week, I’ll flip to flowering next week. . . or go one more week. Gals I started for outside are doing well, but I had to start a new Blue Cheese seed today, as the other just crapped out on me after cracking their shell.

Ok I’m like 90% sure I’m flipping them on Sunday. I’m on Day 53 right now and minus my Golden Tiger, all have had some defoliation done, twice since Sunday. They also got a watering during that time and they needed it, but I’m seeing good stretch from the limbs. Some inner limbs have now chopped as they didn’t get anywhere near what I was hoping they’d be at by now. Outside gals are doing well, but still waiting on my 2nd seed attempt of Blue Cheese to take *crosses fingers* God bless Canadian spring as we are gonna be hot as hell Fri/Sat and then cool down again before more appropriate warmer weather comes back in. So I was planning to plant them on Friday, but might wait for my day off work next week. So some pics from today, but outdoor gals from a couple days ago.

Looking Good......The GT and the A5 are what interest me in their stretch. How tall are your plants from soil level now? I plan on doing some serious manafolding of the A5 and GT 3 next spring for 12 weeks and then put the A5 into flower while leaving the GT3 outside for another 8-12 weeks with more manafolding till sept 1 then put into flower.......good luck with your grow........

Thanks for the comments. I think I’m at roughly 16” on my Golden Tiger and roughly only 8-9” on my KA5. Kind of a Quadline training with 8 total main limbs which have also been topped once a few weeks back. Was hoping some inner growths would stretch with them but only GT seem to show that promise. Currently on 16/8 light schedule. Plan is to go 12/12 on Sunday for the first few (3)weeks and might bump to a 11/13 schedule to help speed these sativas along a little faster hopefully.
